Optimal Fitness Boston is a unique and privately owned fitness studio offering personal and small group training, strength and conditioning for athletes, corporate wellness programs and group classes. And right now we’re offering all of our usual programs and expertise for our clients in person and on Zoom!
OFit’s owner, Bryan Doo, the former strength and conditioning coach of the Boston Celtics for 15 years, brings an immense amount of knowledge and experience to our team and to all of our clients. As a staff, OFIT looks at every client individually, whether they’re a high school or college athlete, weekend warrior or someone trying to better themselves, and each program is designed and implemented around the individual, their goals.

I would highly recommend Optimal Fitness to anyone who wants to train with a professional, whether merely to keep in shape, build strength after an injury, or achieve an athletic goal. I was looking for all three. I have been training with Laurie Lamoureux Borrelli for three years. Laurie helps me plan my off-days too, so I can keep advancing. I now have a a 5-6 day/week routine that is manageable and rigorous. Thank you, Laurie, for keeping me lean and healthy!

Working with Optimal Boston has been amazing. I play varsity basketball at my high school and I worked with them all through summer and fall in the Lexington location.They helped me improve my conditioning and strength so much for the season, and I can’t wait to go back as soon as my season ends. I love how the trainers give personalized details, because the amount of attention they pay to the small details really helps in the long run. The OFit community is super warm and welcoming and supportive. They will work with you for what you need, and I highly recommend working with Optimal Boston if you haven’t already!

I started working with Optimal Fitness in January 2022. I was overweight and needed significant work with my fitness. I needed to lose weight and wanted to get stronger. I communicated my goals with Laurie Borrelli and Jack Baldwin (my trainer) and we went to work. So far, it has been 1 year and I have improved my balance, strengthened my core, grown muscle and lost 40 lbs!

If you want a trainer who takes the time to understand you physically and mentally and then applies a tremendous pool of knowledge to help you meet your fitness needs, then to directly to Optimal Fitness. This team is top notch.

Optimal Fitness revolutionized the way I train for my sport, Ultimate. When I started working out with them 3 years ago, though I was already strong, my body was unbalanced. Since then, Optimal Fitness has helped me recover from a hamstring injury, and through working on my balance, has opened new doors to athleticism for me. I can now dive to catch things safely, and I have never felt moor coordinated or fast than I have after training here. Also, Lauri is great!! She consistently checks in with me about how my body is feeling day to day, and is easily able to adjust her workouts to cater to my specific needs.

The team at Optimal Fitness is incredibly professional. I have been lucky enough to work with two different trainers, both of whom are very knowledgeable and high energy. Would recommend to anyone looking to get in better shape, feel better at work (i.e. alleviating aches and pains from sitting at a desk), and improve mental health!
