We help our clients look good, feel great, and live healthier lifestyles.

People come to us for personal training, nutrition coaching, and injury post-rehabilitation. Our focus is on strength training and functional fitness. Our members appreciate our detailed coaching, expertise, and welcoming environment.

Owner Devin Gray, CSCS, graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2011.

He has several top certifications and over 10,000 hours of coaching experience. Devin is constantly studying and learns personally from several of the fitness industry's best-known coaches, authors, and educators.

I started at optimize fitness a little before the pandemic and was worried about not being able to enter the gym. I transitioned to online and have to say it has worked out great! I took pictures of what I had to work with and Devin customized workouts to my equipment and to a prior back injury I have had. Great communication right threw the app or text messages. I cant wait to get back in the gym with him and his positive attitude! I highly recommend him and his gym!

I started working on with Devin in the fall of 2019 after a series of injuries from playing basketball, biking and weekend warrior activities. My goal was to get stronger to prevent the injuries that I was getting while being active. I went to his gym 2x a week and within a few months started seeing and feeling results.
Devin did a great job of assessing my strengths and weaknesses both before I started my program and during. The focus was on form and working around my injuries to start which I greatly appreciated. I've managed to work up now to more advanced weight and exercises and am feeling better than I have in years.
If you having nagging injuries or if you feel like you don't know what to do when you workout, I would highly recommend working with Devin. During the pandemic, Devin has also been providing online coaching. He's able to build out robust, varied exercise routines using whatever you have available at home. The platform he uses also enables video uploads so that he can provide feedback on your techniques and form.
All and all, I'm very happy and grateful to work with Devin to stay strong and injury free.

Devin was incredible in getting me started with lifting. Professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. As someone who had barely lifted before, he covered all the basics and fixed any form issues I had. I only worked with Devin for a few months, however, he gave me countless exercises and techniques I am still using to this day. He followed up numerous times with me to check on my progress, and even sent over additional exercises I could look into doing. If you are on the fence about taking some lessons, go for it!

I came to Devin because I wanted to start getting stronger and I had no idea how to get started. I appreciated that Devin took the time to listen to my goals and help me think about achievements, like developing my first push up, dip and pull up. I was impressed by his evaluation of my current status and how he could tell that I’ve previously had foot issues.

What was great was how he developed a plan that let me train myself at my local gym without his supervision. He has of course always provided great feedback and answered any questions I’ve had along the way. He also celebrated when I hit my milestones - mastering the push up, dip and pull up. I’ve really enjoyed developing new training plans with Devin as I’ve continued to progress in all of my strength goals. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smart and thorough trainer.

I hired Devin to help me get in shape to ski for the first time in 25 years. When I started working with him 2 months before the trip, he put together a workout plan for me to do in his gym, as well workouts customized for me to do at the fitness center I have access to at work. He modified exercises based on how I was doing, what I liked doing (and didn't like) and my abilities. In his gym, sessions included anywhere from 1-4 of us, each with an individual plan, and Devin was there to oversee those the workouts.
When I finally hit the slopes in Colorado, I had the strength, and therefore confidence, to ski for two full days! I know I couldn't have done the second day without Devin's preparation and would have been extremely sore (and possibly injured) after the first. I am so grateful for his attention and genuine interest in helping me achieve my goal. I would highly recommend Devin to anyone looking to create a personal fitness plan in a comfortable setting!

I initially came to see Devin due to longstanding knee pain that was not responding to PT. I have now been at Optimize Fitness for two years. Devin is an expert at both fitness and nutrition. He has not only helped me exercise pain free by showing me exercises that are suitable for my knee, but he has helped me gain muscle and improve my overall strength. Devin is motivating and positive. So what do you do when your about to turn 5o and your already falling apart!?! You carefully fix what you can and see if you can find a very patient person to help you on your journey back to fitness and a healthier life.
I found Devin in March of this year (2016) and went to meet with him about how I could transition from Physical Therapy (Rotator Cuff injury) to a fitness program that was actually tailored to my recovery and rebuilding. I wanted someone who would take their time but most of all help me to find the love of fitness again. No easy task.
It's been 8 months and I don't know what to say....I couldn't be happier! I started off slow and only committed to 3 months, then it turned into another 3 months. Now, I'm all in! I am happy and healthier, I am stronger and I am motivated!
I have so much respect for Devin and his knowledge, his professionalism and the atmosphere he has created in his facility. Small group training with a focus on you!

I have been seeing Devin for personal training both on his premises as well as at another gym following a plan he has created specifically for me. I have been feeling stronger than ever and, more importantly to me, feel confident in performing certain weight lifting maneuvers. In the past, I have hurt myself with squats, etc. Devin took the time to evaluate me, change my form and exercises, and I find myself doing more than I have in the past without worry of hurting my body.

Devin is a very skilled and knowledgeable professional. One of the days I realized this was when a different personal trainer told me he wished Devin had never started his own business because Devin was one of the best personal trainers he's ever had.

I referred other friends to Devin and they have all been as equally as pleased. If you are new to training and want to know the best way to get started, Devin's your man. If you are more advanced as an athlete and want to take it to the next notch, Devin's your man.
