This is an amazing facility with incredible trainers. Kate worked with me for several months after knee surgery. Augmenting my physical therapy with strength training. This not only accelerated my recovery, but increased my strength throughout the process. Kate is methodical and professional in her approach to training. She listened to my goals and adjusted my training as things popped up. I am thrilled to say I was back to hiking and climbing in no time, and regained confidence in my knee. The facility and equipment is extremely clean and top notch. Fantastic experience all around.

Justin is a great personal trainer and the location in Boston is ideal for me or anyone that works near downtown, the financial district, or the leather district. The facility is super clean, all the equipment is top of the line and in great shape. The personalized program of training has been the right amount of challenging to help me get in shape but not leave me sore for days after. Highly recommend it.

Pearl Street Fitness is a special place. The studio is top of the line in terms of equipment and a generally gorgeous place to work out. I have been training with David for 7 years - he is an incredible trainer. I have gotten much stronger but he has also customized my workouts to avoid common injuries I have had in the past. He is knowledgeable about food/sleep and general health as well. There is great collegiality between all the trainers and it is a warm, welcoming place and produces great results!

I've been training with Justin for nearly 2 years, and it's been fantastic! He designed a completely customized program for me and updates it regularly as I make progress, so I am never bored. I have had not only the kind of results you might expect - weight/fat loss and muscle gain - but also improved function after old injuries and less back and arm/elbow pain from many, many hours at a desk. I never thought I would like training this much! I would definitely recommend if you can get a spot with one of Pearl St.'s trainers.

Been working with Justin for over 6 years now, have recommended friends as well over the years. He is simply an excellent trainer and great person. During my time with Justin, I've rotated between maintenence, and progressive overload strength training to respectable lifts. I've injured myself minorly at times in sports and physical activities and he's designed multiple rehab and physical therapy routines to get me back to full strength quickly. He's helped me achieve numerous fitness goals over the years and I couldn't be happier with where he has got me. I was a lifelong on-again/off-again lifter and now I'm capable of many complex/technical lifts with great form. Highly recommend for both in-person and virtual training.

outstanding, state of the art fitness studio - spotless and beautiful - but the real star are the personal trainers, led by David, one of the best in the business. I've worked with him for over ten years and my strength, movement and stability are as good as they have ever been. His clients are loyal so it's hard to get a spot with him, but if you can, I can't recommend highly enough - and he has terrific trainers to whom he can refer you if he can't do it.

Prior to training with David Cheal about a decade ago, I had tried numerous exercise classes and other personal trainers.  Never did I get the kind of results that I have been able to reach with David.  He is an extraordinary trainer - knowledgeable, continually improving, able to convey not only the correct way to do an exercise but also explain its purpose and value.  Working out with him never gets monotonous and always has made me stronger, more flexible and agile.

I've been training with David for a year now and have been thrilled by the progress I have made on my strength and mobility under his guidance. I LOVE going to strength train at PSF - the space is unmatched for both style and substance - with all the equipment you could possibly need and a 'vibe' that is welcoming and hip. But beyond that, David, Jeff and Justin make you feel like you're family - they care about you personally and work to make your training experience one that is tailored for your needs (and your moods!). I am appropriately challenged and David helps me see how much more I can do than I think I can. Like I said, I LOVE it.

Not only is the space amazing (cozy, chill, super clean - like a beautiful boutique hotel lobby), it is large (two floors) with ample workout, changing and relaxing space. And David’s techniques are personalized, effective and fun. My husband and I have been working with David for years now and went from very non-fit humans to workout fans, and feel better and stronger than we could have imagined. And we look forward to our workouts each week.

What a great environment for wellness! The facility itself is stupendous. It is more like a spa than a gym. But at the same time, it has great, functional strength and movement equipment and lots of open floor space for using it. Justin, David and Jeff are experienced in training and great to be around.
