Whether you’re new to the Pilates reformer or a seasoned practitioner, this is the studio for you. Vicky welcomes all levels and keeps an eye on everyone, ensuring proper form and safety as class size is limited to nine machines. You won’t get lost (or injured) in a HUGE class here! I began my reformer journey (in my 60s) with Vicky two years ago and have seen my balance and muscle endurance develop exponentially; she combines classic Pilates with strength work. It is also a very welcoming community and we have fun! And of course, there are cute socks…who doesn’t need another pair?

Victoria of Pilates Bayside is a great instructor who caters to individual needs (or capabilities due to injuries etc.) while keeping the class challenging, varied and engaging. I have been a client for over a year, attending several times a week and cannot praise her enough for her repertoire and genuine care for her students.

I also enjoy the physical environment she creates with appropriate music playlists, adjustable lighting (so not shining brightly in your eyes when you lay down on the reformer), welcoming/whimsical seasonal decor and readily available clothing, grip socks and water (and a bathroom as well).

I highly recommend that anyone who is interested visit Victoria at Pilates Bayside for an introduction to Pilates. This form of exercise cares for your body by improving posture, bodily alignment, balance, stamina and by strengthening the supportive muscles that many forms of exercise miss (but are essential to have at their peak as you age). My body is happier/healthier now and I am thankful for Pilates Bayside!

If you are thinking about trying Pilates Bayside but are on the fence… Take the class!

I began taking classes at Pilates Bayside almost a year ago. When I first started, I did not know what to expect and was self-conscious about the thought of working out in a group setting. However, I can honestly say that I have never felt more supported and celebrated in a boutique-style studio. Each class is never the same and always promises a full-body work out experience that works muscles you didn't know you had! Through classic techniques of Pilates mixed with different types of strength training, you always leave the classes with a new appreciation for what your body can do. Using a variety of props and equipment (such as the reformer, tower, free weights, TRX suspension straps, and BOSU) this truly creates classes dedicated to functional fitness. Vicki is incredibly supportive and is constantly tailoring the exercises to your individual needs, monitoring you for proper technique, and creating a safe environment for all of her students. She has built such an inclusive and welcoming community. I have seen not only a positive physical transformation in myself, but also a mental one. I am so happy I invested in myself and look forward to her classes each week. I highly recommend Vicki and her studio!

It’s good to take a chance, show up, and try something new. I’m so glad I did that last year, and have continued to show up for classes at Pilates Bayside. Vicky is a wealth of knowledge and experience and I look forward to my time working out with her. A total revamp for the mind & body. I look forward to Vicki's classes as a break from the craziness of the week and I always feel my best when I leave them! She's created such a great community of supportive classmates that I look forward to seeing. I've taken pilates classes for years but truly none compare. Not only do we practice traditional pilates on the reformer, but Vicki includes a great blend of workouts throughout each class with circuit training, weights, TRX and the Bosu, to name a few. No class is the same - it's always exciting to show up to the studio and see what she's got planned for us that day. Aside from the classes, I have such trust in Vicki personally, thanks to her extensive experience in health, fitness and personal training. She is so attentive to each person's physical limitations and will suggest substitutions to ensure the safety of everyone in the class, based on their level of experience. You don't just get this level of attention at every studio - especially those with massive class sizes. This is a very boutique and 1:1 experience and I am so thankful for. I've been with Vicki for over a year and a half now, and feel like I'm stronger than ever before. I've seen and felt such a positive personal transformation :) THANK YOU, Vicki!!

I started taking classes at Pilates Bayside in May 2023. I love that the classes are a mix of Reformer, Tower, TRX, BOSU and weights. During each class we work on strength, flexibility and balance. Vicki has decades of teaching experience. She pushes us to get stronger while offering modifications for clients with knee issues etc. I look forward to my Monday and Friday classes every week!

I started Pilates this spring with Vicki at Bayside Pilates after being diagnosed with osteoporosis in my late 50s. I was terrified of falling and needed to gain muscular strength and balance. Extremely slow and timid on the reformer and other apparatuses, I worried that I would never really get it.
That first 10-class package was a great investment! It pushed me to return time and again to practice the movements.
I will say the best part of Bayside Pilates is Vicki! She brings great music, incredible verbal cuing, and modifications when needed! No two classes are the same, which keeps it super fun and challenging! Four months later I feel strong and confident!

This pilates studio is AMAZING! Victoria is so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; she is an incredible instructor and creates the most empowering workout environment! I love that she pushes me and keeps track of progress, weights etc, while also offering modifications as needed. She really cares for each person in her class and wants the best for every client! I also love that the classes are a variety of both strength (weights) and reformer / tower work, and TRX… it’s always a great mix and keeps it exciting. I’m so happy to have finally found workout classes that I actually look forward to. She also just moved into a new location and the studio is so cute and always clean. Amazing location too!
