I can't rave enough about Pinnacle Fitness. PT can only take you so far - and they recommended this gym. The coaches and trainers there create custom programs to not only address each individual's particular need, but then they carefully help you go further than you thought you could. I joined Pinnacle Fitness during the pandemic, at a time when my already-sedentary desk job had taken me to new levels of inactivity. I felt more immobile and weak than ever in my life. Patrick and the team took care of that in a hurry! Within no time, my physical capabilities and limitations were assessed, and we came up with a plan that had me feeling fit and strong in no time. If I had to choose one word to describe Pinnacle, I couldn't! I would have to choose two words: positivity and accountability. The team is endlessly positive, and in a contagious way! Plus they always held me accountable to my goals. After 4+ years at Pinnacle Fitness, family logistics have forced me to find a new personal fitness routine. Pinnacle has been phenomenal in getting me to my goals. Having back to back kids and a full-time job, I’ve struggled losing the last 20lbs on my own. Their dietary plan (which also was able to accommodate my complex food allergies) and structured strength training sessions with progressive overload have led me to already lose 10lbs of pure body fat in a couple of months. The coaches are motivational, enthusiastic and not at all in-your-face, intimidating or otherwise bro-y. Booking the first success session with Patrick Donnelly was one of the most impactful decisions of my life. I had gone on health kicks in the past and nothing ever stuck, but I decided it couldn't hurt to try Pinnacle out for six months.

That was two years ago.

The programs at Pinnacle are not flashy, but they work. Each progression is tailored to your current fitness state, but the coaches will always find some way to push you to the next level. I've lost track of the number of times I've skimmed through the next program with disbelief, thinking there was no way I'd be able to pull off whatever new exercise they decided to add, but then finding out all the work I put in up to that point had more than prepared me to tackle the next big challenge. The fitness journey is not an easy one, so these breakthroughs have helped me maintain momentum and keep going where I would have called it quits in the past.

I've recently moved from Marlborough and today was my last session at Pinnacle, but I'll always be grateful to Patrick D., Matt, Jared, Luke, Chris, Patrick S., and Mario for setting me on the right path. Joining Pinnacle Fitness was one of the best decisions I have made in the last three years. I have been lifting weights and working out since I was 14, but over the years I had gotten into a rut and found myself "mailing it in". The 5 stars don't even begin to describe how grateful I am for having the opportunity to work out at Pinnacle Fitness.

In May of this year (2022), just a few months after giving birth to my twins, I decided to join a gym in order to get back in shape. I trusted a random Google search and discovered the Pinnacle Fitness by a complete chance. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I am so glad I gave them a try. That was definitely a lucky one for me.

I got a chance to meet with Chris, the owner. The initial consultation is free of charge, and that is the time when you would get evaluated based on your age, height, weight, general health, and your fitness goals. You will get a chance to sign up for either a 13-week long program, a 26-week long program, or potentially for a while longer. Based on your fitness goals and schedule preferences, you will get placed to work with a certain group of coaches. Every single coach is absolutely amazing. While they have different styles of mentorship, they all work towards having their clients do their best.

Pinnacle Fitness is a semi-private club where the clients are provided with coachings, an individually formulated meal plan for each person, a tremendous moral support, and a great time. They become your family, because they really do care. Their team works with those who are looking to lose weight, gain muscles, lessen a burden of certain injuries, and more. From what I have personally witnessed, the age range of their clients is anywhere between teenage years and senior citizen age.

I have attended a few sports clubs over the course of my life, but the Pinnacle Fitness of Marlborough has got to be my favourite. I would recommend this club to anyone who is looking to make any sort of positive adjustments to their fitness level.

I had the pleasure of training with Pinnacle Fitness for about 7 months and am so grateful that I made the decision to workout there. Going to Pinnacle was more than just going to the gym for a workout - you truly feel like you are part of a warm and inviting community of individuals who are all working towards bettering their well-being.

The coaches at Pinnacle are absolutely incredible. Chris, Patrick D, Patrick S, Matt & Mario are some of the best trainers I have ever met. They always checked-in to see how I was feeling during workouts and even on days that I wasn't in the gym. If an adjustment needed to be made to my program for whatever reason they were always flexible and understanding. Additionally, the coaches have provided so much education ranging from how to improve my nutrition to why we do certain exercises, it felt incredibly rewarding to receive the 1 on 1 attention and to know that the coaches really cared about your health and wellbeing.

I typically worked out in the evenings at Pinnacle and it was always the best end to a long days at work. The coaches always greeted me with a smile and their vibrant energy created an atmosphere that I actually enjoyed working out in. I had the opportunity to work with Pinnacle Fitness for just over a year, and the experience was positively life changing! I found Pinnacle with a goal in mind to learn about fitness and how it could support my personal weight loss journey. I was very naïve about the process, having no fitness education whatsoever. I met with the owner Chris for a success session and went over all my goals and what I wanted to get out of the program. We found a plan that worked for me, and I made a commitment right then and there. Throughout the year I was with Pinnacle, I met three awesome coaches, Patrick D, Patrick S, and Cameron who were welcoming, educational, and full of energy. My schedule with Pinnacle was an early morning Monday class and a late night Thursday class, and there was never a time when their energy didn’t rub off on me and set me up for the start or end of my day.

Throughout my time, the team gradually introduced me to various cardio workouts and a progressive workout schedule that eventually got me into weightlifting. They were thoughtful about my fitness level and constantly pushed me to progress. Each class, I received a personal check-in and was able to quickly go over how I was feeling and make any needed adjustments to my program. Another added benefit was that I discovered a passion for running through the cardio side of their program. When I let the coaches know I wanted to pursue goals down that route, they immediately jumped in and tweaked my program to help me become a better a runner.

Pinnacle helped me become “fitness educated.” I can now approach fitness with a sustainable plan to keep weight off and build muscle. I am a consistent three-day-a-week runner equipped with the knowledge of how to avoid injury as much as possible. If something does come up, I understand how to rehab myself. Overall, I have kept the weight off for almost two years now!

Pinnacle has truly helped me become a better version of myself as I navigate some of the more hectic years of my life. The program taught me that I can be a full-time professional and parent to two young children and still maintain a sustainable fitness routine. Their program was life-changing, and I really appreciate the business this team has created. I highly recommend them if you are serious about improving your health and overall well-being.

Joining Pinnacle was probably one of the best decisions of my life. I am an aspiring Police Officer, and with becoming a police officer, comes the entrance fitness exams. I was very discouraged knowing I had to do push-ups for these entrance exams because I couldn't even do one full one 5 weeks ago (at an elevated position yet!) I talked with Chris about my goal in 5 weeks, to do correct push-ups, sit ups, and a 1.5 timed mile run, and he told me he could help me. I am not going to lie, I was skeptical, however with the structure and help of Chris, Patrick and Patrick, trying my hardest and following the diet plan, I not only crushed the fitness exam, but it was actually easy for me! I still have a LONG way to go to reach all of my fitness goals, but being with Pinnacle I know i will succeed in all of it!

Since I joined, my overall health has progressed to a level I am very happy with. They definitely have a method to their madness so as long as you show
up, Patrick, Patrick and Chris will guide you through the exercises and how to perform them correctly. I love the progression of the workouts. It’s steady and harder but one level prepares you to do the next level. I could never have imagined everything I am doing now four months ago. I have a job that beats up on the body so all the stretching and strengthening exercises has eliminated all the aftermath soreness I used to feel the morning after a long shift. Where do I start, this gym is exactly what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. The trainers (Patrick, Patrick, and Chris) are eager to help and willing to take the time with you. All I can say is go there, you will feel SUPER after a workout. The team: Chris, Patrick and Jannyn are the best I've ever worked with. When I went for my first visit I felt so welcome. I wanted to get in shape and they gave me excellent guidance. The exercises are tailored to your fitness level and goals. The workouts change every 6 weeks so they target new areas and progressions. I was always asked before a workout how my body felt, and numerous times Chris would check in via text to see how my workout felt the next day. I'm lucky that I didn't have to loose any weight, but Patrick said I gained lean muscle. I decided it was beyond time to get back into a gym. However I was concerned that the carpal and tennis elbow in my left arms would hold me back. I also felt, after seeing my Wife have great success with a one on one personal trainer, that a trainer would help motivate me and guide me. I found Pinnacle in a search, read all the positive reviews, called Chris and met him a day later. His enthusiasm and knowledge impressed me and I felt safe in signing up for six months. Training is semi private with an ~3:1 ratio of clients to trainers. This seemed ideal to me. Someone to guide your form, but not hovering over you like your own personal drill sergeant. Plus the price was right. One on one training is 2-3x more expensive. Chris and his staff have been great. They always ask me how everything feels before I start working out. They always have a modification to adjust my workout if something isn't right. They are always happy to see me and I am always happy to see them. Six weeks in and my core is stronger (I have a bad disc) and I am down about 5lbs. My carpal tunnel is 75% better and my chronic tennis elbow hasn't flared once. I am so happy I gave Chris and Pinnacle a try. It isn't a gym filled with body builders either. Just real people getting real help with a dose of real heart.

Working out @ Pinnacle is amazing! The workouts are tailored to exactly what you need in order to achieve your specific results. The workouts are always changing, they're always challenging and they're fun! The facility is clean and inviting and the energy in there really just gets you motivated. Chris is a great motivator. He's got the energy, the knowledge and the patience to get you where you want to be. In the time I've been there I've lost 12 pounds, countless inches and my physique is completely different. I'm strong and lean, I have muscles in places I didn't know existed and I just feel great! I've really enjoyed my 7AM workouts! And if I couldn't make my 7AM, there is flexible scheduling which was also a big plus! If you're on the fence about personal training, go sit and talk with Chris and then make up your mind :)

Before signing up with Chris I had never worked out before and he has completely changed my attitude about it! My mother and I signed up to lose weight and get in shape for my sisters wedding and I have stuck with it thanks to Chris' help. He is very dedicated to his clients and designs his work outs based on each person individually which sets you up to achieve your goals!! I was in a work-out rut. I’d spent more than a year focusing on losing weight and running was my singular key to success. Although the number on the scale had gone down, I was getting injured a lot and I wasn’t in what I would consider to be great shape. I wasn’t toned or feeling very fit at all.

I’d heard about Chris Morel through several friends who raved about his knowledge, positivity and dedication. So I gave him a try.

I liked Chris immediately. It’s impossible not to. Chris exudes energy, excitement and a natural, authentic interest in helping you discover and reach your fitness goals.

We spent some time getting to know each other and then he developed a unique, personalized plan just for me. It was exhilarating to move through a full-body workout with Chris. He guided my form, encouraged me to push my limits, and always emphasized the value of listening to your body. Stop when it hurts! It’s an important lesson I learned from Chris. There are always ways to work around pain and still get in a tough workout. Speaking of tough, Chris helped me push myself beyond what I ever thought I was capable of. When he walked over to the free weight section of the gym and told me I would be doing squats with a huge barbell, I laughed at him. He just smiled and racked up the weights, then slowly showed me how to do it. Guess what? The free weight stuff is awesome! It makes me feel so powerful and strong. I never would have even gone near that equipment without Chris’s encouragement.

Throughout the time we worked out together, Chris checked in with me often via text and email, he regularly adapted and updated my plan so that I was learning new stuff all the time and pushing my limits at a comfortable level. And the work paid off. I am stronger and firmer than I’ve been in years. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Additionally, Chris’s encouragement, smile, high-fives and enthusiasm are contagious. There are few people out there who enjoy their work as much as Chris. It’s a pleasure to work out with him.

I would highly recommend Chris to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer. Seriously...I don’t think you could do better than Chris Morel.
