Polite staff that always greets you with a smile. Gym is very clean and the environment is fun and inviting. Space is a bit small and it can get very busy during peak hours which can interfere with my workout sequence. However, plenty of equipment to mix things up which is good for growing muscles.

Lot’s of young people working out which is great to see. They spend too much time on their phones between sets LOL but it’s all good. Management and staff are working to mitigate that and it’s improving. I like seeing the kids striving to be healthy and improve their mental and physical fitness.

Machines are great for isolating certain muscle groups and stabilizing for a better pump. Good equipment. Good people, positive vibes. I look forward to my PF daily workouts.

I want to say thank you to the staff at PF Burlington. The staff seems to do a great job at cleaning the gym and keeping the equipment in working order. Nick at the front desk has been positive, welcoming, helpful, and responsive. I have memberships for my two teenagers (one who is very new to exercising) and he and another employee (Cameron, I think) have gone out of the way to make them feel welcome and part of the PF gym community. I know how difficult it can be working in the service industry and really appreciate the staff's positivity and welcoming attitudes. It is easy to tell that they enjoy their jobs and interacting with us customers.

Nick(he’s white has shaggy type of hair and long earrings.) needs to get fired. I came in and he was on the phone for like 5 minutes. And the call sounded like he was talking to a friend. I asked for a card and he was lowkey rude. He signed and then said “we usually only give these to older members, but okay”. I told him I’m not going to have access to my phone for a while. First of all, I don’t have to explain to you why I’m getting this card. I have the black card so everything should be available to me. And I don’t mind you being on the phone for a few minutes but you could’ve at least acknowledge my presence, and said hold on just a minute. I love coming to planet fitness but he was my first rude weird interaction at planet fitness and I’ve been going here for almost 10 years. Also, if you want to look into it, I came in at around 2 PM. March 16, 2025. So look at the cameras near the entrance if you think I’m lying. again, I love planet fitness. It’s very clean and nice but Nick needs to get fired.

New PF Burlington, MA is new and clean but overall very disappointing. Very open and music is blaring. Smaller, less equipment , less variety of equipment and they skimped on a lot. Not enough floor space for stretching and core. Smaller sized equipment makes it difficult to do TRX moves and only one TRX available. Only 2 small stability balls for the entire gym. Less variety in cardio equipment.Fewer TV's in the cardio area, fewer clocks, and need more mirrors in the back weight room. One positive is there are more racked weights but need more weight benches. Nice locker rooms but I think they could have devoted less space to locker rooms and black card and more to equipment. They really need more space because when it is busy it is very crowded. I left last night not doing the workout I planned because it was so busy and settled for working out on other things. It is a more convenient location.

A month later and despite voicing my concerns to staff as the owner indicated, no change. Still only 2 small stability balls for the entire gym. Frustrating! I own more stability balls at home than they have in the entire gym!

The guy who works in the morning is very helpful. Parking lot is ample in size. It’s a brand new facility so everything is shiny and new. Moderately busy at open. Clean. Really what needs to be noted is the fact they have a cryotherapy machine which is a rarity at p fittys. I really prefer the large box one floor set up and that’s how this one is set up. Visited here in a pinch and it’s the most outdated planet fitness I’ve ever been to, equipment and bathrooms included. No one at the desk…. It’s in complete disrepair and a bit of a dump compared to the many other PFs in MA. The row of parking spots outside are very dimly lit. The machines are so old that I’ve never even seen them elsewhere. I feel really bad for the people whose regular gym this is. Sure it gets the job done, but I’ve never seen any planet fitness gym quite like this.

I haven’t reviewed this place because I have been gatekeeping it. I need a simple gym for my workouts. I need lockers, a restroom and equipment that works. For the price that you pay, you cannot go wrong with planet fitness Burlington. The staff is helpful, the place is always clean and the massages are included in your membership (black card) at no extra charge. The only other gym I’ve ever considered is Lifetime and the membership cost is absurd to put it lightly. This gym and some consistency will help you reach your goals. Sure it gets busy on weekdays but you’ll be able to get your workouts done if you know alternatives or if you’re just a little patient. As someone who has been going here for over a year, I have no complaints. I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to this gym.

There are always members who use more than one machine at a time, which they don't use because they are busy with their cell phone! All the dumbbells are being used as well as the pulley, and let's not even talk about the flat bench. The only thing left to do is use the 30-minute section, which is usually used by older people. So I'm thinking about lowering the membership level since I don't see any other benefits in the black card, nor have they given me an admission card!

Google Maps will take you to the entrance but not the parking 🅿️ lot. The way to the entrance is blocked by construction 🚧. You will have to walk a short distance to the entrance from the parking lot. No biggie!
The good 👍 points: The work out area and men's locker 🛅 room were in good shape. There is a bar to hang your clothes, which I have not seen at other PFs.
The shower I used was spacious and the shower curtain was in good condition.
There is a lot of room to move around! There is a 360° Exercise & 30 Minute Workout area with a leg 🦵 curl machine. Ab and leg has its own section. The massage chair 💺 is an older that is coin operated model but it works. The rafters are dusted. The temperature was comfortable.

The bad news: Two of the three staff members I interacted with were not pleasant. They seemed annoyed.
The men's locker room has one shower and a urinal being repaired. One of the kitchen sinks wasn't working. There was not a cubicle to change after you took a shower. The music 🎵 was a little loud 🔊 in the locker room when I first arrived but I think 🤔 it was turned down later. I was wearing headphones 🎧 while I was there.
What is beyond Planet Fitness' control, the clientele's attitude. I thought 💭 Portsmouth was bad! At least I encountered a little friendliness there. Almost every guy kept checking themselves out in the mirror 🪞, which was humorous. People seemed standoffish and brusque especially when I asked if they were done. While I was looking for specific equipment, I inadvertently made eye 👀 contact with one guy and he started staring at me angrily. There were a few weight slammers but every PF has that issue. I did see 🙈 a few people wiping down equipment and mats.
If I need to use this PF again, I would because I know what to expect. The good points are enough for another visit.

They only care about certain members who are friends with the owners, and the owners are two arrogant and unprofessional individuals. I had my membership canceled by them because I called the police on members who were NOT handicapped parking in the handicapped spots out front. The young boy at the gym was very unprofessional when I was waiting at the counter. He started by saying "what's up" in a tone as if he didn't want to speak with me. Whenever I've come to this gym the staff has been very nice, but since the last one week, this man is only working and is never present when we need something. Even for a hydrobed or massage chair, you have to wait everyday standing there because he's not present. I would like to have the name and contact number of the owner so that I can inform him as this employee's attitude shows that he doesn't want to facilitate people at all!

I've been a member of this Planet Fitness since it opened, and I've always had positive experiences. However, today's visit was quite disappointing.

While looking for the massage chair scheduling screen, a young employee at the reception desk greeted me with a rather unfriendly "what's up?" It came across as dismissive and frankly, a bit rude.

In the past, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. A simple "How can I help you today?" would have been much more professional. This interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I hope this is an isolated incident, but I would appreciate it if you could address customer service greetings with your staff.

The gym staff are friendly and they usually open before 5am. However, this place has gone way downhill. The men's bathroom is missing a urinal, one shower has been broken since last October 2023, one sink is broken and the 2nd constantly leaks. The working showers are disgusting and haven't been cleaned thoroughly in a very long time. Today, the LED lights were nonstop flickering with other serious electrical problems requiring us to evacuate the building per management. I'll be joining another gym soon....

Great location....Greeted by professional and friendly staff members. I will let y'all know this is an older facility, so not like the newer Planet Fitness locations, but just means it's lasted through the years. I'm guessing the owner focused on upgrading the gym equipment, as the bathrooms are out dated. No worries as I am there to sweat & burn and don't need motion sensors for everything in the bathroom. All good with me, although shower dispensers would be great. Such a pain to have to bring my own shower cleansing kit. Oh and plenty of parking as the rink is next door (after hours of course). This place is a dump. The only redeeming element is the size and state of the workout facility, which is admittedly nice. Other than that, the men's locker room is disgusting. The showers are outdated, stinky, and moldy. Half the time, one of them is out of order. The soap dispensers are constantly empty. The drains are slow. There has been a leaking toilet pipe for 2 weeks that is leaking brown water all over the floor. The paper towel dispenser is empty half the time. I can go on and on.
I understand that this is an economy gym, but as a Black Card member, I've been to other clubs, and they are far nicer than this one by a long shot. I have no idea how this gym doesn't violate some sort of Planet Fitness franchise rules, much less health code. Only reason I go to this club is because it's near where I work.

I don't understand the negative reviews, don't know what people are looking for in a gym for $10-$25/mo. Been here for a couple of years. Overall it's good, even during peak hours I don't have to wait long for a machine. This gym also has a large room with many machines for abs. The staff is always nice and welcoming, bathrooms sometimes not the cleanest, but it's a gym who cares.
Maybe a machine for seated calves and standing or laying femoral machines would be a good add
