I noticed there are a lot of unnecessary cardio machines. I've been coming here for 2 years and I've never seen all the cardio machines used. But the muscle machines are very crowded and some necessary muscle machines are missing like Machine decline chest press

The gym itself is well equipped, but safety is a big issue here for me. Parking is not lit and someone siphoned gas from my car while I was working out. I found gas tank lid was open and gas level was lower than before. Men locker room needs lockers replaced.

I cancelled my membership last month, but they still charged me the annual fee for 2025-2026, even though I hadn't used it. I emailed them but no one responded. I received only one email from them stating that I need to pay because I didn't cancel my membership within the 7 days before September, and I cancelled 3 days before the annual due date, so I have to pay. Why didn't anyone tell me about that when I signed up for the membership? I've been on PF for 2 years, but I will never use it again. I don't know why they just want to get $49 and beat that customer, even though this customer can be a loyal customer for a long time? So funny!

I was going to the one in Quincy because it’s closer to where I live. But that location may possibly be the worst Planet Fitness I’ve ever been in. This location is clean and well equipped. It feels up to date and I’m glad I ended up here.

It's the best planet fitness I've been around Boston. Big, nice view, air quality is good. The only problem is some noisy customers on the second floor, yelling at each other, talking loudly on phone.... the usual.

It’s a nice gym with lots of equipments and parking spaces. The staffs are friendly and it’s relatively clean. However, I hate how hard it is to leave to the gym, it’s a nice location to get to but leaving gives me a heart attack each time because I have to get through like 4 busy lanes in a very short distance to get home. This is why I’d go the bsc/crunch down street even though it’s smaller and more expensive. Wish there is an easier way to leave.

My only real problem with the gym is that when it is early like between 2-5 am. You never see anyone at the desk really which is annoying when you want to use the tanning or massage. Sometimes you do see them cleaning or stocking but most around the whole gym you don’t see them at all. Sometimes they are sleeping on the massage chairs.

I been going to this gym for a bit before I encountered someone who worked there. This person has to work somewhere I would frequent. It was just a coincidence because I lived near the areas I had to use the bathroom one time and I came in and this individual was at the desk and gave me a weird/dirty look. I could hear laughter while I was in the bathroom. I don’t bother this person at all. Super immature, unprofessional and emotionally abusive. I deserve to feel safe at a space I was coming to long before

For the price, this is a great place to lose weight if you're serious about it. I went from 210 to 174lbs. My goal is 165lbs. Eating right, which includes eating less helps. In addition, reducing your sugar intake will boost your weight loss by a major factor.

I like this gym a lot. Sure, it's only Planet Fitness, but they give you exactly what they advertise. The overall vibe there is friendly, and both the workout area and men's locker room are clean. They have a pair of Smith machines. Unless you are a fairly serious strength athlete, Planet Fitness will serve your weightlifting goals.

I really had a bad experience at that gym dealing with a manager who is unprofessional and racist. After working out I was washing my face and I heard someone yelling behind me: ( what are you doing? I’ve just cleaned the sink). I responded: sir I’m on my way to work and I need to wash the sweat off my face. The unprofessional manager replied: well I’ve just dried the sink and the mirror and you’ve splashed water all over. I responded: Sorry sir but I had to wash my face.)
After this encounter I reported the incident to the regional manager in that area and he or she has never gotten back to me . Now here’s the load that broke the Camel’s back: upon checking in to the gym I realized after a few minutes that I forgot something in my car , upon coming back from my vehicle I was coerced to check in again . They advised me that I needed to check in each and every single time I go to my car.

If I could give it a zero star I would. I joined in 2020 online it was not a problem. Then covid shut us down and I got less use of it than I typically would have. In 2021, I called to cancel the membership because I had moved out of state. I was told, cancellations were done in person but since I was out of state, they would make an exception. But I guess, the person only put a freeze on it because a few months later, I started being charged again, I called again and they assured me that it will be canceled, the worker said a note will be put in the system to have it canceled since a manager wasn’t there at the time. Great I thought that was the end. I never received any emails from them, I joined a new gym in my state ( not a planet fitness) fast forward to last month February, now we are in 2024; I was looking through my account and realized that I’m still getting charged from this planet fitness. I called on the 29th of February and spoke to someone who told me “they understood my frustration, and that this will be taking care of. Then on the March 1st, a $39 was taking out of my account, I called again immediately and was told that it was most likely the annual fee and that the account will be cancelled , not to worry, I was given a number by this worker to call and see if I can recuperate some of the money back since I hadn’t use my membership in 2 years. I called the number but since it was Friday afternoon, I got a machine. That was the end of that, I didn’t even call back. Now March 21st, checked my account and realized that I was charged 22.99 for the membership; I immediately called and was told that i should have called before the 11th of March if I wanted the membership cancelled and not be charged on the 18th, I told this worker that I called on the 29th and then again on the 1st, she told me that they only saw a cancellation being done on March 16th. Now I have my call log and offered to send that over to them she said there’s nothing she can do that’s what she sees, I asked to speak to a manager, she came on the phone, I explained ( all above) she proceeded to tell me that there’s no records of my call to them and the cancelation was processed on the 16th, that’s what they have that’s what they go by, and there’s no refund given for unused memberships. I told her it wasn’t important to me to get the money back for the last 2 years simply this new charge that I was charged despite calling at the end/beginning of the month. I even asked if you have no record of me calling how did you all end up cancelling on the 16th, I was told that there must have been a note in the system to do so, which I responded and told her well I’m telling you I called on the 29th and then again on the 1st, I have my call log to prove this and can send it if needed, I did not call on the 16th and to check when this note was out in her system. She told me well I have to go by what I see here and we don’t do refunds. At which point I was tired of arguing.
And honestly next month if I see I’m charged again for this stupid membership I will buy a ticket to come in and see how they deal with people in person because this is STRAIGHT TRASH! This puts me off not just from their location but all planet fitness period. I will never ever again get another planet fitness membership no matter where I end up living. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, it should take 2 years to cancel a membership, and definitely should not be arguing with a customer over $22.99 and when they’ve called you to cancel recently when they easily have the logs to prove it. Pure trash 🗑️

The worst location to cancel a membership I'm surprised. All the PF I joined and canceled never a problem. Extremely frustrating. I've sent them a letter of cancelation in mail to the newponset address to cancel. 6 MONTHS AGO!!!! still trying to draft out of my account. I don't have a car to drive there anymore either seeing you only do it by person or a letter. I am very surprised they were nice when I joined. I wasn't there a more then two months. I've done my part and I'm not about to argue on the phone.

I transferred from another location where I had the regular membership. Bob was the staff member that helped me decide to switch. He took the time to show me around the entire place and introduced me to the SPA. Bob explained everything in detail and I started to use the benefits right away. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive. I'll mention the names that I know but this goes for all the staff members: Bob, Cove, Katiana, Omayra, Andrew, Len, Mohamad and the new manager Steve. This is a place where I let my walls down and I feel great. I really enjoy going to this location.

The gym is really large and spread out and the staff is super friendly! There has only been a few instances where one of the machines I wanted to use was not working but it was fixed that same week. There is a ton of equipment and two floors so I never feel like I'm in someone's way or vice versa. For reference I go around 7am. Also the black card facilities seem up to date and clean.
