I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for a while now, and honestly, I love it here! The environment is always welcoming and never intimidating. The staff are kind and helpful — especially the newest manager, Raquel. From day one, she’s been so warm, friendly, and always greets everyone with a smile. I really appreciate the layout of the gym — two areas of cardio equipment and plenty of machines, so it never feels overcrowded. The massage chairs and hydro beds are perfect after a workout, and the tanning beds are a great bonus if you want a little glow. Overall, it’s an amazing place to focus on myself and feel good every time I walk in!

We have been going to the Fall River location for years. Never had any issues until we went to the Somerset location. Wow what a difference. The Somerset location is a year newer but seems like it’s brand new. We need to do a better job maintaining the Fall River location. Cleaning regularly. And fixing machines asap when they break. I understand that the Fall River one most likely gets used a lot more but it doesn’t cost anything to clean regularly and to
Maintain the equipment.

They do a great job, any issue I've had, the staff fixed right away i.e. no paper towels in a machine... They did so well, I upgraded and got the Black card, totally worth it for the hydro-beds! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because a lot of the other people there don't clean the machine when they're done, and people sit on one machine in the 30 minute area and staff doesn't move them so the rest of us have to go around them and don't get to use that machine and every day at 5pm-ish the whole place reeks like Axe body.spray, it is horrible and I cant tell if it's a person or the AC pumping it out.

I lost my job. So I had to cancel a lot of things. Planet Fitness insisted that I go into the location that I opened the account. In order to cancel my membership. That location was Fall River. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude to me and said that my account won’t be closed until I pay the balance. So I explained that was unemployed and I’ve been trying to cancel prior to coming to the location. The employees started laughing at me and my situation and an argument happened.
So I left the Fall River Planet Fitness with the entire gym looking at me because I had to cancel my membership.
So where’s my no judgement..

The staff are really nice and helpful but this place is always WAYYY too hot. Literally the only gym that leaves me sick to my stomach because of how hot it is. I can’t even get my actual workout in here. I prefer Taunton because it’s quite larger and it isn’t 100 degrees.

Planet fitness is great because I have the Black Card Membership, which I can go to any planet fitness so even when I am with my daughter at Hasbro children’s hospital I can go to a location less than a mile away, in another state no less, get my workout in an go right. Ack to the hospital! So convenient.

I stepped into this facility ONE time and it was to cancel a trial membership offered online. That was October , 2024. WHY are these folks still charging my card?! So, I called up there to ask. I was told I have a membership and while it can't be cancelled on the phone I can cancel in person. She proceeded to tell me the hours of op. I told them I was on my way. I called a little while later to confirm that they can't cancel my membership on the phone. WHY did the proclaimed facility manager 1. Refuse to cancel my membership, 2. Refuse to issue refund, and 3. bar access? "Pay your bill" she said. Terrible mannerisms, terrible policy, awful etiquette, zero understanding. I am calling until I reach someone helpful. I can't say I don't recommend the gym spaces, as I haven't utilized it. What I will say is that it is run by an extremely unprofessional manager and if you have ANY issues, she is unable to assist and will give you the number to a corporate office that's closed on a business day.

I like this location best out of most on the south coast. There is plenty of equipment, the tanning beds are the best quality around, and the hydro massage chairs work wonders. The only thing I would love to see is a self service computer to book the PF black card services (tanning, massage, etc.) I’ve utilized them at other locations and would love to see one here. Only because the desk can get busy at times and it can be a lot to juggle members with inquiries from those just looking to book a service.

As a noob when it comes to the gym, this is a great place for starters and beginner level training, I’m glad to see a large selection for lifting a lot of the other gyms I’ve been to is 90% cardio. This has the more lifting equipment out there so if you want a lift, this is a place to lift reasonable numbers with no hassle or judgment. The staff has never given me a hard time about anything, a plus too is I’ve never heard the lunk alarm go off.

I just started coming here and honestly definitely better than the other gym I was in there no over aggressive people who love to slam equipment and loud talking over the phone place is quiet everything is clean equipment works there's tvs hanging with different channels to past the time. So I've been coming here to close for a year now to the extent that the usual staff member just waves me in this is the second time I've gone to this location on a weekend and not got my usual guy and they look up my account and supposedly tell me that there's some error with my account or issue this morning I spoke with kennek a very disrespectful short young man. I sat there for 10 minutes did what I thought was rectifying my account called my other half got my card as I had traveled here without my debit card and he still refused to let me in. This is not the first time I've had a string of issues with unconformity between locations I'll be calling management on Monday. Where as I went the entire week last week and I was not told anything and have no emails from pf since March

Great gym to workout in, no one will bother you and very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend the black card to have access to everything for a cheap price of $29 a month with a $49 yearly fee after 3 months. VERY CLEAN GYM. GREAT MACHINES!!!!

I love the gym n the staff is very pleasant,however there should be more staff menbers/trainers walking around and observing these young kids that are working out on the machines and not using the proper form ,I witness a young man on the smiths machine doing squats n didn't know how to rack it back up n he and bar ended up on the bottom rack n he crawled out .

This place is run by young immature kids who don’t know anything about customer service, I got charged 2x for a drink, when I brought it to manager attention, showed her my bank account which clearly showed it was taken out 2x but she said her records didn’t show that so she could do anything about it …. Unacceptable, I was charged 2x and had the proof so she should have at least given me a drink for free but because she’s ignorant and has no clue how do her job she got an attitude towards me so I told her what I thought of her and now I am band from any planet fitness…. Not my usual planet fitness. Not really pleased with the facility even though I gave it 4 stars. Mainly because it wasn’t crowded. Bikes were missing strains on their pedals, LOTS of the benches were in poor condition. Many of them had obvious and deep cracking on the padding.
I mainly use the gym to keep up with my physical therapy and the one item I use consistently is a flat bench. There was not a single one in this location. The adjustable weight lifting benches are not the same height and that throws off the correct positioning needed for my PT. Plus, the support legs are in the way of my feet. The cleaning stations are few and far between. No one was manning the desk when I came in so I simply checked myself in. I don’t think I’ll be back to this location.

I would not give this place a one-star. That being said, for several months, they have had several equipment problems, and most are in the black card area, and what is running is disgusting. But they still charge u at full membership. As you will see in the photos, there are bugs and hair between the acrylic. I'd suggest canceling your membership and using your money and investing in another function gym in the area.

Good studio BUT watch your pocketbook! They weasel extra dollars out of your membership and its IMPOSSIBLE to get any resolution. The Club says they're not responsible, they send me to the billing company. That billing company said they are not responsible. Planet Fitness Corporate also denies responsibility. On top of this, I can't get into my account to cancel. I can't start over with a new UN and PW, Nothing works. Watch out - they require access to your checking or savings account - - all bets are in THEIR favor not yours.

The gym is nice and clean. The staff is mostly cool. However there's whom I believe is some sort of a manager there. He's a young kid with the facial hair of Merlin the wizard and it's not doing him any favors. Seriously bro, shave it. Anyway, he's always been short and rude with me ever since I started going there, going as far as to cuss out a worker for letting me use the hydromassage after being unaware my membership had lapsed. I had been going all that week with no issue. They recognize me and my girlfriend because we're regulars for 2 years. They had been fine with me showing up until Swazi Merlin showed up there and rudely made me leave. I did leave, permanently. Now I give my business to Crunch Fitness. They're 24 hours most days and the staff is super cool and respectful and appreciate customers. Also no weird noise rules...
