I’m a Big Fan
I’m out of my realm here. I usually do not post anything on franchises over 10 or chains.
But this is just that good.
My company, MAHI Outfitters, is based on an acronym: Mind-Attitude-Heart-Innovation.
Planet Fitness is a great combination of that. The people that work there and the people that go there, are just awesome. Memberships come with the option to sign up with a trainer. The locker rooms are clean, modern, neat and un damaged. The equipment maintenance is phenomenal. The equipment diversity is absolutely exceptional. Stair machines, treadmills elliptical, ab machines and about 10 - 12 machines for legs. Bench press, free weights, and more.
There are automated massage chairs and beds, and there are tanning and light therapy rooms.
It is SO conveniently located.

I just moved to the area but I’ve been a longtime PF member since high school. I’ve been to many locations and I gotta be honest, the layout of this one is awful. The free weights section is ridiculously small. If you are using the smith machine (which there are only 3 at this location) you are literally bumping into the people on the cables (specifically the lat pulldown) because they’re placed not even four feet away from each other. The rooms for stretching and the 360 are both VERY small. The yoga mats are outdated (the thick ones) and move with any sort of core exercise. It’s literally easier to work out on the floor without it, which is gross. They don’t have any of the updated equipment besides the matrix treadmills and tons of ellipticals that nobody uses. This isn’t an objectively bad location, but it’s only the 24/4 hours that keep me from switching to another one.

My neighbor and I just started at PF Norton in early November. I want to give a shout out to Meghan the trainer at PF Norton.
We do the PF 360 Strength with her. She is always friendly, bubbly, and informative. The people at the front desk are always pleasant and helpful, too.
I would HIGHLY recommend coming to this PF Norton!!

I never leave reviews either good or bad but I have to this time, as being a previous owner of a gym in the 90’s, there’s a thing called gym consideration and respect for others trying to workout, I used to have Norton as my home gym but left a couple years ago because of this issue, I totally understand the concept of planet fitness and as being older now it works for me, but the issue I have is how people just sit at smith machines and others an totally do nothing for 10-15 minutes at a time, there’s no signs an nobody monitoring this, the people at the counter are always very nice, I’m sorry but I blame the manager or whoever trains these people, this is so unacceptable to allow people on there phones to just squat on machines like they do at Norton, at least put signs up!

I advise all of you who appreciate a cleanliness business to go somewhere else. Every time I come here the locker room is filthy. Today I went to the shower come out and one locker room was open and some ignorant old lady walks in front of me like she owns the place. So I go to open the other locker room, and there multiple bags taking up the room with no one in there. So I walk to the counter aggravated and say excuse me and start explaining the situation not being aggressive towards the associate who claims hes the manager and only manager the works there his name is CHRIS and I highly doubt he's the only manager. He also started being rude to me telling me that I don't have to talk to him that way when I wasn't talking to him anyway I was explaining him to the situation and ignorance that was going on and then he just fires back with more ignorance. Tells me I don't have to come to this gym if I don't want.. Unacceptable customer service. I will not recommend this gym to anyone else. I will also be calling back since he thinks he's going to get up one on me like he's the only manager that works there and if that gets me nowhere I will be calling corporate! They have 2 changing room stalls, with 2 shower stalls and one handicapped. With 4 bathroom stalls make that make sense.

This is a solid location with a good layout. They make the most of a tight space and it manages to be spacious enough, navigable without feeling claustrophobic, and easy to find machines and equipment in a logical flow. It offers a good midpoint location for some of my more obscure and work based travels.

Giving this 5 stars but that’s just a ranking among other planet fitness locations. Gym is clean, solid selection of equipment(wish there was a few other machines) and the staff is friendly. Location is open 24/5 so late weeknight gym sessions are possible which is fantastic to beat the crowd

Been going to this gym for a few years. My main complaint are people slamming the waits loudly as they are releasing on the last rep. It's obnoxious, very annoying, and unacceptable!! Please put up signs regarding that and have your desk people be more attentive and address the individuals to stop!! They are mostly on their phones and are oblivious!!

Who was the genius that thought having CEILING MOUNTED OVERHEAD SHOWERS would be the a good idea.. and waist high shower heads that aim at your private parts... smh

I go to a lot of different planet fitnesses. And I don’t like this one. The layout sucks. And the machines are getting worse the more advanced they make them. Like have a massive stop button on the treadmill that sits hire then the bar. People hit this all the time. Hate this gym.

Not a fan of the new equipment . Been coming here for 2 years now. I’m a calorie counter so when I’m on the elliptical and the battery dies or the machine shuts off because I’m not peddling fast enough … it causes a real inconvenience for me and messes up the flow of my workout.

Standard planet fitness. Small locker rooms so your too close to anyone else changing. Showers are horrible the water is either too cold or to hot it's never consistent. Tried to drop membership from black to standard, can't do that unless you cancel and pay the fee to rejoin. Can't cancel online only in the store. I cancelled then they will billed me again. Revisit to cancel again and no refund just an email this time confirming it's cancelled. Still waiting to see if I get billed again, sent email explaining the situation with no response. Overall not impressed with this location

EDIT SINCE GYM RENOVATION:
I absolutely LOVE what they've done with the place. Love the new equipment but few complaints I feel need addressing for the MANUFACTURERS of the new equipment:
1- it is no longer super easy to adjust treadmill settings where you can pick how long you want to go for (aka time yourself) or put in your weight to get a more accurate sense of calories burned (it varies depending on a lot of factors but weight is a big one, treadmills used to have this feature and it looks like they no longer do). I don't even see this option in the machine. Maybe I need a demonstration or they just got rid of it for some reason, I don't know.
2- the new stairmasters are GREAT but whoever designed them decided to put the emergency stop RIGHT where people's knees naturally exist anatomically. It could just be me but today my workout stopped 4 times cuz my knee accidentally grazed the emergency stop button and I got so fed up I left the gym! Next time I will be more mindful about my knees as to not hit the emergency stop button but...very frustrating. Don't know why they designed the machine this way.
Other than that....love it, and until my frustration with the emergency stop button on the stairmaster reaches its limit, I'll continue to workout here and only here. Until.

I like planet fitness and been a member for years. Really appreciate the cleanliness. However I really don't like the new equipment. The multi gym doesn't have the lbs on the plates, the ab crunch doesn't have a bar to wrap your feet around so workout is pointless. The the back stretching station(s) are gone. The new treadmills have a display from like 1980s. You can't watch TV on them. You can Plug headphones and choose to listen to TV that is on the otherside of the room. If you can see it. It's almost 2023 and they have std headphones jacks. Who has them anymore? Going to give it a few more visits but I may go somewhere else now, because of this new equipment. The old was better.

I have been going there for 4 years and never have issues until the day I show up and they cancel my membership. I never got any phone call and email or staff talk to me. I found out when I called corporate office and they stated that that other woman complain about me. Well, I'm deaf and I can't hear what other people talking. I usually ignore them. Guess what, I join other gym and they're so much BETTER than planet fitness: offer more excise classes, cycling and excellent massage.
Do not join planet fitness, if they don't like you, they will cancel you without letting you know.

Affordable, clean fitness center. Quite a bit larger than it was since it moved. Open 24-hours so if you have the urge to work out a 3am, you have a place to go. Lots of cardio equipment. Pleasant staff.
COVID has caused a slight reduction in hours, now it is open 24/5 M-F and doesn't open until 7am on weekends.

I hadnt been to the gym in some time. When I finally went it was to cancel my membership. The clerk informed me it would cost $10 to cancel. I said okay, Ill be back to cancel. When I came back he was in the background while I worked with a different clerk who informed me I owed $40 in arrears and there is no $10 fee. Pretty sure the guy I initially talked to was trying to rip me off of $10, but I paid the $40 and canceled. Shady.

The gym itself is fantastic, always have a great experience but today on the other hand not so great. The staff is always super nice and helpful. But today an employee names Matt was very rude and unprofessional, had quite the attitude and was very short when trying to make conversation. To the manager/ owner the gym is great but you may want to take a look into one of your employees very disappointed.

This is a nice facility and I've never had issues until recently cancelling my membership. When I tried to ask about the unfreeze of the accounts and payment refunds the manager was super rude and defensive. She cancelled the membership but the attitude was really not necessary given planet fitness (corporate) were the ones being shady. I'm no karen but wouldn't recommend this place compared to better gyms in the area with better customer service.

The staff does a nice job cleaning the facility and equipment but do not enforce the mask policy very well. People regularly wear the mask over their chin which defeats the purpose entirely. Also, many people wear unapproved masks.
