The design isn't my taste,

purple and yellow. But otherwise it's great. Endless fitness equipment for every need, including various massage tables, and all for an unbeatable price of $28 a month for two! Open 24 hours on weekdays, from early to late on weekends. Mixed crowd, from young to old, fit athletes to people who mainly want to improve their mobility. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Staff was unhelpful and unpleasant when trying to use the Black Card Spa. I chose to cancel my membership. Because all staff were uninterested in doing their job, I went through the work of switching Plymouth to my home gym in the lobby so I could cancel my membership right then and there. I’m not paying for the privilege to be laughed at when I don’t understand how to use the Black Card Spa. I struggled with multiple steps of the Spa process due to my home gym handling the experience differently. The workers #1 priority appears to be using their phones, not helping customers. My previous Planet Fitness had some of the kindest and most helpful staff you could ask for. The front desk worker here in Plymouth questioned me twice “if she did something” when I’m obviously unhappy and cancelling. Employees need customer service training.

I don't feel accommodated because the pedal on the glute is far for my legs because they're short. I am also heavily disappointed about the fact that they took all of the things, which once filled the whole 30-minute area. Now it's just a waste of money just by taking up all that room with bare minimum effort, to only ending up with one thing to hold weight building methods.

I have visited all the Planet Fitness locations on the South Shore, and this is my home location. It has just been upgraded, making it the best Planet Fitness on the South Shore. The facility features all new equipment and is exceptionally clean. It also has new massage chairs and excellent tanning equipment.

Plymouth location is great. The place is always clean. The staff is always very helpful. Biggest advantage in my book is being able to go to any location. For someone like me, who finishes their work day in many different towns, being able to just hit any number of locations on my ride home, is absolutely huge. Have signed up most my immediate family. The new staff at night made me very uncomfortable to the point where i didnt even finish my work out first the lady accuses me of not signing in when i first walk in yelling me over then she proceeds to come up to me working out and tells me that my account is past due because i have biweekly checks whch i really shouldn have to explain to a pf worker when my bills always get payed then proceeds to tell me i need to change my gym location when im only in plymouth for a work job and then comes up to me for a 3rdtime to remind me to update my information totally killed my workout mood and not a judgement free zone at all

I have been a member for 2 years and I have tried many locations but I think the personnel here are not doing their job and the male employee at the entrance has a repulsive attitude. I may not know English but he should stop his racist approach to me. He was not smiling. I said I would pay online but he wanted to take money by force. I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness for a while now, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. After moving to a different state, I called to request a membership transfer to a nearby Planet Fitness location. It seemed like a simple enough task, but here I am two months later, and nothing has been done!

I’ve called multiple times and each time, I get the same run-around with no resolution. It feels like the staff is either too lazy or just not capable of figuring out how to process my request. Now, I’m left waiting for the manager yet again, which is beyond frustrating.

I expected better customer service from a company that prides itself on being welcoming and supportive. If you’re considering joining Planet Fitness, be aware that their customer service may not be as reliable as you’d hope. I certainly won't be recommending them to anyone :)

Worst gym ever. Locker rooms are disgusting. The lockers are always dirty they are never cleaned. It always smells like a pig farm in there. I would not even shower there because of the mold growing in the showers. Staff is very unfriendly and not helpful. I never see them cleaning. They are always just on their phones at the front desk not working. Machines are usually broken and it takes them a long time to fix them. A friend of mine caught ring worm from the tanning beds. They let people be intimidated by all the gym rats. Save your money go somewhere else.

Planet fitness needs to update a game and make it that they can have activities where you can do aerobics in classes for people to go to and also online need to have trainers when you first sign up and also when someone cancels their membership they still take money out of their account which they should not but they do so please watch your bank accounts after you cancel your membership

There needs to be a better way to keep track of who's next for tanning without the waiting area all getting up and checking every time someone leaves. And then the front desk allowed someone in first after they just told me, I was next.

Edit on Jan 22nd...returned for tanning and there was a much better process in place. The person at the desk was the same person but was attentively notifying the next person up, again with a full waiting room. I'm impressed at the improvement and he even made suggestions to help reduce the wait! Updating the star rating!

Three days in a row staff members assured me they would fill the hand sanitizers, day 4 still hasn’t been done. Behind the counter employees playing hacky sack, while another was on personal cellphone. Men’s shower shut down and blocked off by crime scene tape, the crime here is the incompetence of management and the failure to supervise. This is a rip off joint of the highest order, and the management pays lip service and then does nothing to rectify the issues , filthy broken equipment and disgusting bathroom and locker room, stay away from this dump, and go to a real fitness center!!!!

Worst PF I’ve been to. The staff at the front couldn’t stop gossiping long enough to notice us, let alone greet us. The scanner wasn’t working, we just walked right in. The men’s bathroom had no hooks in the stalls for a bag, so kept it in my lap. The first stall had vomit in it, the second was stopped up with #2 and TP. The shower had no shelf to put your shampoo or soap, and was lukewarm at best. The women’s showers were worse. The drain was so stopped up that water wasn’t draining, the water ended up 4” deep by the end of the shower. No shelves in the women’s shower except an unusable wire rack since whatever you put in it gets blasted by the stream and splashes everywhere. There are quite a few PFs around, and we chose this one because of the high ratings but would not recommend to anyone.

I love PF. It's a great value, close to my home, and fully equipped. I'm a frequent van lifer and having the Black Card allows me to shower at thousands of locations all over the country. That alone is worth the price even if I never went to the gym. Also, I've made a lot of friends at the gym. PF really enriches my life.

My belongings were stolen in the bathroom while i was peeing and management didn’t do anything to help me. I came to the gym like i do 5x a week, (left my headphones and Stanley bottle at the sink while i was using the toilet right next to it) When i left to wash my hands and grab my stuff I wasn’t even there anymore. Manager opened up a report and said he would check the cameras to see what happened and guess what? Happened that the camera didn’t catch anything. Was it a ghost? I have been coming to this club for over 5 years, it’s a nice gym, but unfortunately i had to close my membership today cause i don’t longer feel safe here.

Went on sunday and they kept me and a couple people waiting for over 40 minutes for it to open. I have no idea what time they got there because i left after that. 10-15mins delay is fine but almost an hour delay is ridiculous! This is the second sunday that I went where they kept us waiting. Amazing gym I love it and love coming here and especially love to tan after I work out. Terrible. My boyfriend has been paying for a membership for 3 years that he tried to cancel. They asked for his old phone number and because he doesn't know it they said "theres nothing i can do for you". Basically he's stuck paying for something because they can't look him up any other method than his phone number. Insanity. I called the Manager and his response was "wow, well I'm in my living room so I cant really do anything" . After we drove 45 minutes one way on 2 separate occasions to cancel this because their staff isn't trained to cancel memberships. Unbelievable. The sad thing is the concept of planet fitness is a good one, but their unqualified, unmotivated, careless staff ruined the reputation for me.
