The current manager of the gym is great. The place is always clean, the hours are convenient and any problems that are brought to the manager are addressed immediately. The staff is very friendly and is always working hard to keep the gym stocked with paper towels cleaner and the machines are repaired quickly if needed. The only thing that stinks is the parking lot but it's not their fault so I won't hold that against them . They also have some great perks like red light and the more modern tanning booths that other Planet Fitness in the area don't have.

I used to belong to this gym years ago and now I wonder why I ever left. They have everything to offer anyone who's looking to get into shape. They also have massage chairs, water massage chairs and beds, tanning rooms and LED light therapy treatment booths. That is just to name a few amenities. The Price is Right $24.00, plus a $50 membership fee. If you add that all together. It only ends up being about $28.00 a month. You really can't beat it.

Please follow the recommendations, there is an aerobics area in the gym, and it would be great if there was a bench near the weights, to do the exercises, there are a lot of people gathered in front of the mirror, mainly men and my wife is uncomfortable doing her exercises there. Overall it's all clean with good staff, update the equipment to something newer, I feel like that's what's missing.

Like this gym cuz it’s close to my place of work but I do not like how they are raising Price of reg membership to 15$ and can’t even keep up with some maintenance.Peck fly machine has been down for over 3 weeks now.Im usually not one to complain but if you’re gonna raise prices atleast keep up with the maintenance

Staff is non responsive, and they allow group workouts despite there being signage up declaring no personal training…..
The gym is already small, we don’t need a group of people hogging the machines during the most busiest hours of the day. Please be more attentive, as I will be cancelling my membership if this is not addressed sooner rather than later

I try to go off hours so it isn't very busy. Around 10-2pm. For the most part, everything is clean. I would like to see the handles and attachments get replaced. They are frayed or missing all together. But 98% of equipment is always functional. The new massage chairs they got in recently are much better than the old ones.

This location isn't the best. Most of the paper towel dispensers around the gym don't function . The staff here also do not enforce that people wipe down the equipment after using it. Lots of machines are out of order all around the gym. I saw an elderly woman lose her footing and fly off of a treadmill that is located right in front of the desk. Not a single employee even spoke to her or helped her .

Hate this gym! Love planet fitness but this one in particular is awful. Not enough resistance machines. And way way too many people. Parking lot is a nightmare. Been in 3 accidents. This gym is closer to the lower income. And I am in no way a rich person myself I am also low income. But the people that this one in particular are nasty rude. Don’t clean up after themselves. The girls are gross period products that are used left in shower stalls. I only come here if I have too and even then make it a quick workout. Middleboro is by far better

The machines were dirty, and when I went to complain about the machines being dirty I received terrible customer service and attitude especially from Angela who was rude and unprofessional. I will be trying WOW in the future. I am very upset because I have been a long time customer with this gym but management went down hill since she got promoted. Very sad.

I echo some of the concerns listed in these reviews. As a long time member, it's clear that standards are slipping. The most obvious example is the constant broken glass in the parking lot. Saying it's "not my problem" because we don't own the parking lot is asinine. As a business, you have a vested interest with ensuring your parking lot is free of shards of glass. Talk to the owner of the lot or clean it up yourself. Leaving it for the customers to deal with is a ludicrous response.

I’ve been a member here since 2018, as the staff has always been friendly and this particular PF continuously makes efforts to improve (expanding and adding that other room, adding more treadmills, installing new weight racks). However, lately I haven’t been impressed with the customer service. There seems to always be a new glass bottle shattered in the parking lot, and the staff NEVER cleans it up. I understand if it continues to happen it can be frustrating, but when it is crowded and that is the only spot to park in, I don’t want to pop my tires. It also is alarming because you can’t even see until you pull into the spot with the massive glass shards! Secondly, the staff has always been amazing. Lately, though, there has been new and younger kids working which some of them are great, but the majority stand there chatting amongst themselves failing to greet members coming and going, which was always my favorite part about being a member there. On multiple occasions I’ve said hello and goodbye, without hearing anything from the workers… they just stand and stare or are too busy on their phones/gossiping. The girls seem to stand in groups behind the desk and one of the nights I went, they were too busy flirting with a male member to answer a question I had regarding my husbands membership. He stood at the other side of the desk chatting with them for well over 30 minutes which screams unprofessional to me. I would love to see more doing and less socialization… I don’t feel nearly as welcome as I used to with Tyler and the old staff. Please consult the new team about being more friendly and helpful, as I know they are capable.

One side of the gym is 10-15 degrees colder than the other side. Please put mats on both sides of the gym!!! You have to walk so far just to get a mat. The 45° leg press is always being hogged by the same 2 people.. they will put their stuff down and go off somewhere else for a long time. They need to monitor this better or add a second one.

Nice clean gym, staff was exceptionally friendly. The variety of equipment doesn't cover everything needed for getting good isolated lifts in all muscle categories. But over all planet fitness makes it possible to get a workout in and get you blood pumping in a nice safe environment basically everywhere you look there is a PF so you can't go wrong with an inexpensive membership. Also the fact some are 24hrs is great for sunday's when most gyms close early. Take advantage of Thier free day pass. You get one a month every month per gym. So if you want to test them out it's free! Also you can check out multiple ones in your area all in one week for free!

Not at all worth it. Busy all of the time. Constantly waiting for a machine…finally frees up, wait again for the next one. Only free weights are dumbbells. No barbell free weights. People sit at machines and mess around on their cellphones while others wait. I found another place. It’s $30/month more but I’m done with my workout 30 minutes sooner and have far more access to a wider variety of weights.

My car was stolen on Friday, 1-27-23 from this gym. The staff doesn’t care and makes no attempt to find out who the guilty party is. Lunk alarm cameras everywhere but yet they can’t tell me anything on who Might have stolen my car. They have my name and phone number but yet crickets. No call, no update and no follow up. Please make sure you have your keys with you in the gym while you work out in this gym.

Staff are never present at counter even if there are multiple people on schedule. I walk in to see male staff flirting with female customers and not paying attention to a customer who needs assistance. I also had a bad experience at this location with with 2 male workers trying to make my skinny lil sister feel bad about her body and weight. Bathrooms could use better cleaning and could use repairs. Shower heads in some stalls damaged and looks as if staff don’t care about cleanliness in rest rooms urine toilet paper on floor. It’s a nice location but could use better staff.

I like this planet fitness because it is big with a variety of equipment. Unfortunately if you shower at the gym this might not be the best place. Womens room showers always smell like mildew, have a ripped shower curtain, and overall could be a lot cleaner. Recently there have been personal belongings left behind in the stalls such as fake eyelashes and bar soaps and there is typically hair in the stalls that will stay there for weeks.

I love it. I pay $10 a month and it is perfect for me. I go alone strictly to use the equipment and I get exactly what I pay for. If you want to bring a guest or use the tanning / massage chair features then it's $20, which is fair. It gets busy at night, but if you go mid day or morning you have no trouble getting onto the machines you want to use. Work Out World seems to have a few more machines, but they also charge more.
