🙌🏻 We have been going to this gym since it first opened here in Tewksbury.
We have all Positive things to say about the staff that maintain the gym, always welcoming to all. We always see them going above beyond to answer any membership questions and show Perspective customers how to sign up for The membership options.
I personally am there 5 to 6 days a week , 2 hours daily and I see them replenishing and cleaning the equipment, paper towels, and bathrooms. These guys work very hard and without them the gym would be upside down.
It is in our opinion they truly deserve a lot more credit than some of these comments, which are pretty negative.
I’m not want to sugarcoat anything but shame on these comments come through as exaggerations of negativity.
On another note, I do want to point out, that the gym is my third home meaning my home my work home and my gym home.
Between all my neighbors in town, as well as myself, we consistently see the bathrooms and locker rooms bashed by so many customers that come from the outskirts of the town most likely they leave trash all around they throw the toilet paper on the floors and not in the toilet/ trash bin provided, There has also been people who go into the men’s bathroom and shave their hair from their armpits, etc., and this is not sanitary and customer shouldn’t be allowed to do this. It is very disrespectful and it gets all over and other gym. Customers are walking around it or through it as well as The hard work and staff members have to deal with this! There are also many customers that are frequent flyers and do not clean the machines after themselves and leaving sweat trip all over the hydro, massagers, massage and chairs, weight machines, treadmills, etc….
it would be great to highlight and post more Fluorescent signs to be considered of others who will then use the machine next in line.
Overall, the gym is great because of the staff members that maintain it, and they definitely need to be recognized.
We hope that the gym Members will be respectful and have proper etiquette so that we may be able to keep the gym in this town for a long time.
We have no problem following up and observing if any improvement.

I joined when this location opened and have enjoyed it. The location is clean and staff is helpful and friendly.

I am posting my one concern as I don't see an option on the PF App to voice concerns privately.

The growing frequency of the Black Card Member area being "down" is frustrating. The Hydro Massage bed is a main reason for coming to the gym. Members pay the extra charge and then have to cross their fingers that the area is open and functioning.

Great place awesome parking ample parking…very clean the staff is awesome…I use plenty of planet fitness and this location is the best - - so far…the staff is super friendly and help with any issue you may have…Ryan the manger is great along with nick and I don’t know Miranda that well but she’s been nice…I’m a sure other staff member are just as awesome but the times I go to this location we must miss each other…there messages chair is one of the better message chairs in the area..I’m not big on tanning but see there equipment and other location equipment this location is the best…

I enjoyed going to this gym up until they started charging me a late fee of $15 and the manager would not work with me. The late fee is as much as my membership fee.
Also the manager is extremely rude and very unprofessional. When I tried canceling my membership he became even more rude . I find this completely unacceptable I have never experienced such unprofessional in all the gyms I’ve worked out in over several yrs. If there was a way to reach the district manager I would have but he was not willing to give me the name.

"Recently, on August 28, 2025, I had a frustrating experience at the Planet Fitness in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. A staff member complained about me leaving my towel in the shower stall while I was still getting ready, and has repeatedly complained about me carrying my bag during workouts. This is a habit that many long-time gym-goers have, and I see other people doing the same without any issue. Yet it seems like I’m the only one being singled out.

Additionally, on another occasion, a different staff member complained because I went to shower 15 minutes before closing time. The gym closes at 10 PM, and I believe 15 minutes is plenty of time to finish up, but they still told me it wasn’t the right time to shower. I’m really frustrated by this selective treatment. If this continues, I will leave the gym and let everyone I recommended know about my experience."

completing what I said, the issue was not leaving something and leaving, the inconvenience was during and even before finishing, whether training or when leaving the shower.

I have nothing to complain about regarding organization and cleanliness, quite the opposite, there are many positive points, but the point mentioned was the various unnecessary approaches, especially because there are people who actually leave their used belongings inside the bathroom and many times I needed to use it and waited without complaining to anyone, anyway,Tks.

Very tidy and professional service from the staff. The men's locker 🛅 room and shower 🚿 area was in good 👍 condition. Only one hook 🪝 in the changing stall but it had a large bench.
A mix of newer and older exercise equipment . The weight benches are a little too close to each other but they have a weight bench that is lightweight and easy to move.
The massaaaage! 💺 chair is the newer style and very popular. It was one person showing up as one became available.
WiFi is available for members.
This PF reminds me of a combination of the entrance of Stratham and Derry's high ceilings and similar exercise floor NH PFs.
What gave me an incentive to try this PF was the review from a fellow Google Maps reviewer who complained. She said she while on the treadmill that she was approached by a staff member about earlier weight slamming. She gave a negative review for the way she was approached and I agree with her on that. That the staff takes weight slammers seriously and has the courage to approach them and ask them to stop 🛑 impressed 👍 me. She called the weight slammers "💪 muscle heads" and I agree with her on that. If you cannot control the weight, do not pick it up!
Anywho, I am going to recommend this PF and if I am traveling again and in the area, or wishing to avoid the Burlington PF, I will visit again.

Starts with the staff. They have the best staff around, bar none. I go early mornings , and sometimes later in the afternoon. No matter the staff member on duty, they are extremely friendly and helpful. Place is always spotless as well. The members are awesome. Many are willing to help others and are very positive. It’s a great gym culture to be around

I’m writing to formally express my concern regarding an interaction I had with one of your staff members, Aaron, during my recent workout at your facility.
While I was in the middle of my workout, wearing headphones, I was approached by Aaron in a manner that came across as slightly aggressive. I couldn’t initially hear what he was saying due to my headphones, but after removing them, he informed me not to slam the weights. I want to clarify that I was not intentionally slamming any weights, nor do I consider myself a “muscle head.” I work out respectfully and am always mindful of my surroundings and equipment use.

What I found troubling was not just the comment itself, but the unprofessional and rude way in which it was delivered. I’m more than happy to comply with reasonable requests or rules, but I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, as anyone would.

I believe a more respectful and professional approach would have been far more effective and appropriate.

I have been using this gym since it opened. But recently the cleanliness has been lacking I’m there Monday through Friday every week by 5:30 am and the locker rooms look like they have not been cleaned touched other members have said the same thing. I hope this is only temporary!

Really love this site and been coming since it opened. The gym floor is clean so it looks inviting and I'm happy about that. The biggest and most dire issue that is very unexplainable because i can't grasp why the women's bathroom is DIRTY. The reason I'm posting this is cause the same hand prints the same stains i seen last week in these pictures and every day after that. Its disgusting. This shows the day crew and definitely the night crew and MOST DEFINITELY the "sanitation " crew do not go into the bathrooms to whipe the doors in the restroom or the changing room i generally only see one girl working there but in other pf with a sign i have seen men come and clean if short staffed. Out of every room the most sanitary one should be the restrooms. To see the same dirt and stains from LAST WEEK AND THE HANDS DEFINITELY 2 WEEKS NOW is unacceptable for this gym or any. The counter top in the restroom had this stain for over a week cause i have to move my bag over away from it. Very disappointed. Salem and dracut are not like this by any means in the restrooms.

I love the place. Stretch area is amazing. Lots of equipments and not busy when I come early mornings. The showers are fantastic. The water pressure is amazing and hot water such as good. The black card works nice cause the massage chairs and hydro are great. Staffs are good too. I really recommend this place.

I was ok till i went into the tanning booth for first time and got burned bad. I told the manager and new guy i was first timer. They didnt advice me i should start off a few minutes and work up to 9 minutes over time. They didnt offer me eye protection. I told the manager should i wear a t shirt to protect from my already tan outside from beach and he said you can wear a winter coat if you want! Is that the best they can do to educate first timers? I told him i was first timer too. They didnt offer sunscreen either. Very bad experience for me :( i talked to Ryan he didnt apologize its like oh well i wasn't there but he was when i told to getting in the room he told me to get a new key chain. He was there behind the guy putting me in the room and heard me. I asked him if wearing a shirt would protect me he should have offered sunscreen, eyewear and advised me to start with a few minutes. I felt they didnt care at all :(

I love coming to this location, it’s my favorite. It’s very clean and the employees are attentive. I love when they say hi and bye to me, it makes me feel welcomed. There’s always someone at the desk and someone always walking around to check on guests, and someone always cleaning. I stopped going due to an injury, but I’m back in the gym and it felt as though I never left. Thank you! 🙏🏽

This facility is very nice and clean. I love the machines and how all the machines are brand new. The only thing that is keeping me from going there on a regular basis is that there is a woman in a wheelchair that goes there just to use the showers and blow dryers. She is very rude and think she owns the place. If she is allowed to go and use the locker room for her personal use only well she needs to go when it isn’t busy. She lays her stuff around everywhere and with only having one changing room is a real problem. Hope something gets done because I know a lot of woman feel the same way.

This is a nice clean gym with good parking space next to Job Lot. I give three stars due to staff not paying attention to supply replacements (restroom stalls) and why is the music volume turn on so high this evening??? This is not a party club and not everyone here enjoys the music being played. I have my ear plugs on and it's still way too loud, it's noise pollution. You can't hear anything but the noise from the speakers.
