The gym has been dirty for months since the old manager left. I have mentioned it to 3 staff members, 2 of which are managers. One said complain to corporate, the other said the vacuum is broken and they’re waiting to get another under warranty. All they do the whole hour I am working out is stand behind the counter on their phones, there is no reason they aren’t out sweeping up the disgusting dust bunnies and dirt all over the floor. If they’re not sweeping, it’s definitely not getting mopped.. can you imagine how sweat covered that floor is!? EW!! There is even dirt building up in the dumbbell holder in the back room. That doesn’t require a vacuum to clean! The vents are also full of dust. Specifically the one in the women’s bathroom. I filled out a survey through PF about these issues but no one has done anything in the 5 days since I entered it so I thought I should take my frustrations to Google. CLEAN THIS PLACE UP!!!

The assistant manager Cassara is wonderful. She's welcoming and non-judgmental and I love how well she enforces the planet fitness policies with tact and EMPATHY. It is super important to have staff members who prioritize keeping a comfortable environment for the community. Give the kid a raise!

Place has gone downhill since Scott left. I’ve been a longtime member of this Planet Fitness location, even before working at a PF for a short time. I’m very familiar with the gym’s policies, including those regarding guest usage.

Recently, I was approached by a current manager (Casara) who told me I would be banned over a minor issue. This was not only unprofessional but clearly very personal and not in line with any actual Planet Fitness policy as I’m aware of them all. Threatening to ban someone instead of having a respectful conversation is completely inappropriate and just childish.

Planet Fitness markets itself as a “Judgment Free Zone,” yet people who genuinely want to work out are being made to feel uncomfortable by staff who are clearly not upholding those standards. Not to mention she goes out of her way to give me dirty looks and then flirts with my man. I understand the company has been struggling to find managers, but hiring a kid who behaves like this is a joke.

I’m currently going to all the planet fitness locations in the south shore because my home PF is being remodeled. So Wareham is not bad. Good layout. But I must say. I decided to leave the Y after many years! I'm 80 and only use the bicycle now. The cost difference is over $300 per year less, which is why I changed! I miss my friends at the Y but I also found former Y members now at Planet Fitness! The facility is clean, equipment always available, staff friendly and helpful!

My name is Nicole. So on February 4, I forgot my red beat earbuds on the treadmill. I called planet fitness immediately to in form the staff member that I forgot them. He immediately retrieved them and told me he placed them in the lost and Found bin. So the next day when I went to the gym at five in the morning, the same staff member was there. I asked him for my earbuds when he went into the bin they were not there. He said oh my God there must've been stolen/Given to somebody else. I asked who can I talk to to help me? He said the assistant manager will be here at 9. I called back. I spoke to the assistant manager She was Extremely rude and not cooperating on helping me get my answer she said I don't know what to tell you. Basically I asked her for corporate number. She said we don't have one. I asked her for the owner's number. She said we don't give that out. I asked her name she said her name was Carissa honestly I think she's the one who stole my earbuds. I asked her are you gonna take down my name and she HUNG UP ON ME if the owner see this can you please reach out to me your staff is extremely unprofessional, They are ruining your reputation for wareham Planet Fitness. I want my earbuds returned back to me. I want them replaced. It's bad enough. Your staff is 40 minutes to an hour late every morning now they're stealing my belongings if God forbid they left behind.

The planet fitness since scott took took over as the new manager doing excellent job sally is still in charge, but Managers just came and went for a little while. They are back on their game. Please understand. I love the gym but your sat morning attendant/person at front deck is never at the front desk. 3 times I have wanted to Tan but had to go and find her and tell her “I want to Tan.” Her response,”I’ll be there in a minute and she continues her conversation with a pardon filling the bottles.” Meanwhile I had already been waiting there for 5 min. She doesn’t care that a client is waiting. The gym is great the customer service on Saturday morning is horrible unfortunately.

I am not a fan of the new Matrix elliptical. It seems as if your arms and legs don't work together. Plus try to grab your water while working out. It is almost impossible. The treadmills aren't much better.

I unfortunately have to cancel my membership after learning that I couldn’t join my friend who has a black card to this gym. I am a member at my planet fitness in Dartmouth and was told since I am a member somewhere else I have to pay 5$ even if my friend can bring someone in for FREE…I am definitely not supporting that awful policy. I will definitely be traveling to my other gym that is further away to stay away from planet fitness’s in general. Worst of it all this was a district manager I was speaking too… just awful

Management/staff is fine, the owners are the problem.
Plantet fitness owners refuse to lift a finger and demand that customers do the owners job for them.

As an owner is it your job to contact Management and manage them and find out what You as the owner can do to help your Management team.

It is not the responsibility of the customers to direct and run your business for you.

Poor business practices as shown here by the careless responses the "owner" gives telling customers to do his job for him and tell the business how it should run (the owner needs to do that himself)

I have nothing bad to say about the staff or location, but this business is extremely scummy and predatory. I just realized that I was still signed up long after moving to a different state and called the Wareham location to cancel, the (very nice/helpful) staff member informed me that there is no way to cancel your membership on the phone or online, and if you live somewhere else and can't come in person your only option is to physically write a letter and mail it to a corporate PO box. This feels extremely dishonest and seems like they are intentionally making it as hard as possible to cancel, and honestly should be illegal. Staff and location were both great, but maybe Planet Fitness as a company doesn't deserve your money.

This place has really gone down hill. Some equipment is broken or missing. The bathrooms are not cleaned regularly. The tanning beds seem like they need some service and to be cleaned better. Updated and working equipment are desperately needed including add on bars and straps including the foot ones which have been missing for a long time.

Terrible experience with the manager tonight. Poor customer service I just moved here and couldn’t change my address yet because I pay for a club the next town over I must pay $5. I could care less about $5 it’s the principal. I called my old planet fitness and I must write a letter and physically go there to change my membership. We have a family member at the YMCA I barely use planet fitness I literally keep it for after hours. I guess I am spoiled of the outstanding customer service and additional benefits we get at the YMCA for free like child watch free training. Always some there for questions & Customer service etc. This is just not worth keeping for free. No customer service would be better than useless customer service.

I was there Monday morning working out in the Wareham location and this old man was harassing this young woman. He was being totally inappropriate, he should have been asked to leave and banned from the gym. I did inform the staff that he was in the wrong, as well being very aggressive and hostile towards this young lady. I wouldn't recommend this location since the staff didn't make this man leave. He was still being hostile with the staff there trying to defuse the situation. I don't think any woman should go to this location if the staff isn't going to step up and make it a safe place. I will tell all my family and friends to stay clear of this location.
