Machines were all good and the sole staff person (on Labor Day) was pleasant and helpful. Stars taken off because 1) none of the showers had any place to put your soap/shampoo. Holes in the shower walls indicate where shelves were previously; 2) two guys had lengthy cellphone conversations around the machines, which is annoying. One guy was talking for at least an hour non-stop. I imagine it's hard for staff to ask customers to end the convo.

A few days ago, I went with my husband to sign up at the gym. However, the advisor at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful with us. For any question we asked about how to complete the sign it, he just said you should know how to do it by yourself, it's your phone!
When my husband told him he had a very bad service and attitude, he also got aggressive.
honestly, not the kind of service we should expect or would like to experience ever again.

Do yourself a favor and find another gym 5 days. No hot water. The same sign has been up for 3 days saying it's going to be fixed the next day. It don't take a week to fix a hot water heater. If you're going to spend money on a gym, a hot shower is kind of an necessity. Don't spend your money here. There's plenty of other better gyms around this area

The men's locker room has 6 showers, none had hot water, did the gym administrators turn off the hot water heaters to save energy? This is absurd, we can't take a cold shower in an icy climate like this in Massachusetts. I asked the employee why and his answer was "I don't know". Unfortunately I will need to look for another place to train and take a shower after training.

The women's locker room, showers and bathroom area was the dirtiest i have ever seen at a planet fitness location. It was visually clear that it had been quite some time since someone cleaned in there. Dirt, dust, hair, debris all over the floors everywhere. Dirty countertops. Sink and shower clogged up. Absolutely unacceptable. I notified the two gentlemen at the front desk. Hopefully the cleanliness improves for the other members. I will not return here. 👎🤢😠

It’s a basic gym nothing special. Kind of dingy with dust all along the walls on the floor and where machines have not Ben moved in some time. Seems to have a heavy infux of foreigners speaking other languages which may make some feel uncomfortable. A lot of machines showing wear. In all still a place you can get your works out in.

In my few visits, they seem to have enough equipment for everyone and it seems to be kept in clean and safe condition. I bought the Black Card membership so that I could bring my girlfriend any time. The massage chairs and tanning beds are a great perk for Black Card members.
I love that it's located on the 226 bus line. There does not seem to be enough parking for busy times and I wish the parking lot were well lit, especially for the winter as it is in a no salt zone.

I feel there commercials are misleading. It shows a staff member "helping" a customer. Since this new rule went into effect because they don't trust the customers, the staff will NOT help you if there is only one person at the desk. They will say they can't help you (say learn how to use a piece of equipment) until someone else comes in. There should be a disclaimer stating this. Planet fitness also got rid of trainers.
Now they got rid off all the elliptical and arch trainers and replaced them with Matrix machines, they are terrible. The machines do not have clearly marked levels to choose from and the sides are so tight a normal size person can barely fit in it, and only not overweight people! Clearly discriminating against obese people. So much from a judgement free zone........ who's stupid idea was it to replace all machines with this one matrix device? They should be fired. I will be contacting all Weight Advocacy groups about this, it is beyond insensitive, it excludes and discriminates.

For a change I went to the Hingham Planet Fitness and the Weymouth location could take a lesson from this location. In Hingham the front desk people actually say hello and greet you with a smile. In Weymouth the front desk youth has a hoodie on, ear buds in ear and on phone like he doesn't care to be there.

The employees are excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes there aren't enough working. The mens bathroom is a mess, I've encountered soap and underwear left in the shower section a lot as of recent. When I get into the shower black dirt washes off my feet from the dirty floor. Braintree has a hose in the handicap (disabled) shower. Wish they had one in Weymouth.
My daughter says there are only 2 showers with curtains. Why would half the female showers have curtains?
There are always technical issues with the television system. They need to get rid of Xfinity or update their system. Not that I'm there to watch TV only but I get a good workout when I can tune in on a good show. Weymouth Planet Fitness is my favorite Planet Fitness in the area.. They just need to do something about the bathrooms and TV system.

Gym is good and everything else is good except black card benefits. So if you are looking for black card membership then don't waste your money as internet is down many days and then staff don't allow you to use spa section so no massage chair, no Hydro massage or anything like this. They should have proper or separate bavkup internet for this black card otherwise why to give more money if this is not available many days. Staff is not even manually turn on spa machines if no internet.

Great that they've brought in New Equipment! Question you had 1(and only 1) cardio machine, that was the 1st cardio as you walked into the cardio. My description is that it's a recumbent cardio (?) machine. You're able to sit down and pedal similar to to a stand up elliptical machine. I talked with Sébastien the other day, who thought a new version of this machine would be coming in this week.

The staff is nice, everything is relatively clean. The fatal flaw is that they let children play in the gym completely unsupervised. There's nothing worse than trying to focus on your workout and there's half a dozen pre-pubescent 13 year-olds, all in the Smith machine next to you, screeching so loud you can't hear the music in your ear buds. These little clowns triple and quadruple up on machines so forget about waiting for them to finish. I got my membership because it's less than 2 miles from my house and for the price, I figured I could tolerate the "Instagram fitness" culture of Planet Fitness but I sorely regret signing up and can't wait to get another gym.
