Although it is a 24-hour academy, it leaves a lot to be desired. Devices are broken for weeks, and at times, some installations, such as the large fan or water heating, do not work. In the early hours, when I do my exercises, there is a monosyllabic employee, very unfriendly, a perfect useless, who does nothing but keep his face closed all the time, giving monosyllabic answers. He receives money to do nothing. Useless. They really should revisit these things and definitely improve not just the facilities but also the staff lineup.

The staff are friendly and competent, but the owner clearly couldn't care less about maintaining critical health and safety infrastructure, such as cooling and ventilation systems. Weeks will pass with broken fans and stale, moist air gathering in the central area. When I spoke with the employees, they agreed it was an issue and told me the owner had consistently failed to schedule an electrician despite numerous complaints from gymgoers.

As a secondary concern, machines and equipment also sit for weeks awaiting repairs. The owner fails to fulfill the basic requirements of operating a gym.

Overall, it's a decent value for the cost. Sometimes busy weekday early evenings and you have to wait for certain machines, but usually not too long. This location needs some attention. The ceiling lights and wires are extremely dusty, the bathroom mirror lights don’t work, some machine LEDs are failing, and there’s a ceiling leak dripping water. One staff member consistently makes me feel like a bother when I ask questions. When I ask to use the massage equipment, it often feels like an issue. Recently, another staff member told me the hydro bed was available, but when I went to use it, that same employee was lying on it—not using it, the machine was off. He told me he was “relaxing before his shift,” which he said started in five minutes. The other bed and chairs were taken, so I was just standing there, awkwardly talking to him, expecting him to get up. Instead, it felt like he was implying I should either wait or go home. So I just decided to go home instead. It was uncomfortable and felt really unprofessional. Hope things improve soon.

I agree with other reviews that this PF is not as nice as others in the area. It's small and the machines are packed together. It was crowded when I went and I had to waste time waiting for machines. The air felt hot and humid even in winter. Felt like more of a gymbro scene here with people being a little inconsiderate such as playing audio on their phone speaker. I hope they can renovate this location because it would be nice to have another option in this area.

After a very long time of ice cold water showers and no hot water, they finally fixed it, you would think they’d also fix the broken shower handles after 4+ months but I guess that $240+ a year per black card membership just isn’t enough to fix anything around there. it’s also a tiny gym and people are on their cell phones hogging up all the machines, so if you have goals and really want to get a good workout in followed by a nice shower then you can forget about it. This is one planet fitness I absolutely try to avoid after work and end up driving farther away just to use a better one.

Pretty disappointed and wish I checked this location out before signing up. I belonged to the Wilmington and Reading clubs for many years so I was expecting a similarly appointed and well kept property. Nope. It's small, cramped, dingy, humid, the LED displays on ALL the machines are dying. The overhead lights were flickering. Everything looks dirty even in the dark. Needs a little TLC to say the very least.

I would like to give 0 star. The manager confronted me because I had my GYM bag (I thought the name was already kind obvious) told me it was house rules that no one could carry their gym bag there. Women get on the Smith Machine and do ungodly amount of pelvic thrust sets, and in between each set they text, update their Facebook page, dance and god knows what else on their I Phone.

Could you please authorize overnight staff to lower the volume on the overhead speakers? At night, with low ambient noise, the music is uncomfortably loud, and the associate currently on overnights (who is great btw, always in there cleaning equipment, refilling spray bottles etc) said she couldn't change the volume, but at other branches staff has always had access to the volume control.
I'd also love to see some of the fencing removed, or even just gap or two opened between treadmills, so as not to require travelling halfway across the gym to access adjacent areas.

Pros: Convenient, fairly well maintained equipment and cleanliness and a good variety of machines that align with what I want to use at a gym. Great hours, plenty of parking.

Cons: I joined here the first week of November, and I enquired about personal training. This was one of the main reasons I re-joined PF. They told me their trainer left. Okay... its been 6 weeks and when I asked again today they told me they are supposed to have a trainer, but interviews haven't been conducted yet. The employee suggested I try another location, however I don't have the black card. So I am unable to use one of the amenities that I really wanted to get out of my membership.

I am disappointed by this because I, and I am sure plenty of others would like to have the guidance of a personal training for safety reasons.

TLDR; Please hire a trainer! I don't want to have to cancel my membership due to this.

My experience here is that people get on a machine then get on their phone. People are using more then one machine. Saving the machines with water bottles. Not a lot of space or machines for people to be spending 30 minutes plus on one or two machines. Management doors nothing about the rudeness of most of the members. Great place to work out. It can be intimidating when you first start going to the gym trust I know. I'm in decent shape but every person in the gym is probably thinking the same stuff you are. It's about being healthy not trying to impress people. Stop worrying about other people's thoughts and get healthy and in shape, you will feel better physically and mentally.

I am a longstanding member of this PF because of the convenience factor. It's small, doesn't have as much in the way of equipment as other PFs, and isn't well maintained, but it's close to home.

I recently returned to the gym after a two-year COVID hiatus. Imagine my surprise when I saw a bike out of service that was out of service when COVID hit in 2020. A coincidence, I'm sure ;-) I was equally surprised to find no signage in the gym-proper to remind members to clean down the equipment/weights after use ... and nine out of ten members on my visits so far have failed to do so. Really? We seem to finally be emerging from a pandemic and members still aren't willing to clean down the equipment they use. That said, there are few employees to be seen to enforce such things anyway. I know it's tough finding help right now, but if you don't have help, have signs and maybe a camera or two to watch for scofflaws.

So, all this is to say, returning to this gym has been a disappointment. I was hoping for better after all we've been through with COVID, but nope.

Not bad, a smaller location and the dumbbells only go up to 60lbs, which seems odd. The free weight area is incredibly tight on space with three adjustable benches somewhat breaching capacity. Cardio equipment dominates the bro space, as expected. Also, there are no kettlebells, farmers need not apply 🤷. Looks like they did what they could with 70% of the space they probably needed.

Oh. It's crazy cold outside so remember to warm up your body temp and mitigate dumb injuries. But you probably already know that because you're insane and a local to this climate.

Ridiculous management...I had knee surgery in early March 20 & called to suspend my account as I was unable to use the club. The frazzled employee who answered the phone said a lot of people were calling that day with the same request (others due to Covid), & he wrote my name on a list of people who had made such requests. I recently noticed that they've been charging me again since July. When I spoke to the manager, he said that they suspended everyone's account during lockdown & started charging people again when the club reopened. As the employee who first took my request failed to make a note in my account of my specific suspension request due to surgery, the manager refused to refund the fees they have charged...nevermind that they know I haven't been to the club since Feb. So they're ok with charging me for a service I have been physically unable to use, even though I called to suspend the account, because their employee failed to record that call electronically. They fail, I pay?? Garbage.

Update-management, Planet fitness is forwarding theft information to their insurance company to remedy issue.....waiting on response... Hopefully a resolution can be made.
Planet Fitness-Woburn allowed a non-member into the locker room!! No ID was checked, thief was not escorted in gym. The thief broke my lock, stole my wallet, keys and truck. The employees admitted fault to me and the police. I've reached out to the owner multiple times and received no response or apology.
Doesn't Planet Fitness have safety protocols in place about allowing non-members into the gym? The thief, on video surveillance, turned out to be a known felon. Planet Fitness needs to rectify the situation. This post will be updated when I hear from them.

I like the people who work here and the management and facility, however they need to do a better job enforcing mask policy. Too many members being lax and not enough employees monitoring the floor to ensure compliance. It is a big safety issue and important for people to feel safe coming to the gym. I hope they tighten this up, helping ensure the safety of members, and ensuring the gym stays open. Otherwise a great gym.

The facility is clean and equipment is safely spaced to control the corona virus. Haven't bothered trying to connect to any of the tvs since they require a hardwire plug.
