We are a functional fitness training studio located in the heart of Quincy Center. Our brand new, state of the art facility has an open gym studio with brand new functional fitness equipment, large turf space, spacious locker room area including two showers.

The community Proving Ground has created is one of respect and encouragement. The owner, Erin cares deeply about her members and has created a program that is inclusive of all fitness levels. Would 100% recommend trying a drop in class…but you might get addicted 😉

Proving Ground is the best group fitness training I have done, hands down. All their instructors are top notch: they are motivating, organized, help with form, and are just great people. Every class is different in format but you can always be sure to get a great full body workout. I love the mix of formats combining elements of cardio and functional strength training. I always leave feeling a combo of exhausted and energized (don’t really know how else to describe it!). The best part is they really make all levels welcome. When I first started going to PG, I was new to a lot of the exercises and the group format. But I was never stressed about not knowing anyone or not knowing how to do things right because the trainers are right there to make the class super approachable. They also incorporate Hyrox elements for those that want to train for Hyrox competition. PG has become a part of my weekly routine and I look forward to the classes I take every week. I cannot say enough good things about this crew and the gym!

I’ve been going to proving ground for about 6 months and love it! I came 6 months post partum lost in that body and mind, and so thankful I found proving ground. The community, the coaches, the workouts are all top notch! So thankful for Erin providing a place for everyone and everybody to feel included, welcomed, and athletic!

After owning and running my own fitness studio, I know a good one when I find one! Proving Ground is just what you need if you’re looking for a place where you can get stronger and have an amazing community. First of all and most importantly, the workouts are challenging and diverse in an intentional scientific way. Not randomly trying to make you sweat or become injury prone. Secondly, the team of coaches and staff are so welcoming and really make working out fun. It is really great whether you have been working out forever or are beginning again- no matter what your level. I am so happy PG exists- we need more in the area, come see for yourself!

What a great workout! Great combo between strength, conditioning, cardio etc for a full body workout. Format is great for advanced athletes and beginners to go at their own pace. My instructor was super helpful in showing me proper form!

Had a blast at Proving Ground. The staff was friendly, the space was clean and had full showers in case you need to go straight to work. Ooh and the workout was brutal but rewarding. I’ve only taken a class with Rob, so he’s who I’d recommend.
