If I could give 0 I would. I walked in for to ask a couple questions and maybe drop off my resume. Upon entering i was greeted with a very impatient hello, as if i was an intruder. And then a quick dismissive "not a good time bye" without even attempting to talk to me for 1 min. There were only 2 clients in the gym. Youre not so busy you cant be professional and welcoming for 30 seconds.
I was a little off put by this, decided to maybe leave my resume on the desk and leave, and he quickly said "no, plz leave" i told him its my resume he said "email it."
Very dismissive and rude. Vile and volatile energy if you ask me. Couldnt even entertain a potential customer or employee. Wild.
P.S. - by the way dude, your client was doing his exercise wrong. His back was not straight and core was not engaged. He was arching his back way too much and he gonna develop imbalances or get hurt.

My kids and I have been going here for several months (multiple days per week). My 1:1 training sessions have been excellent. Working with Adam has really motivated me to get back into shape for all the sports I like to play (primarily tennis). My kids are teens and Pure Performance has amazing programs for young athletes who want to do off field/court training with trainers who have experience working with this cohort. No matter what time of day I’m at the gym (I’m writing this in July), there are high school and college athletes working hard with their friends— it’s a great vibe. Highly recommended!

After seven knee reconstructions and a few shoulder injuries, I struggled to keep up with the workouts I wanted to do to stay healthy and fit. Pure Performance has been a game-changer. The trainers here really understand how to work with injuries, and they created a program that lets me push myself while staying safe.
Thanks to Pure Performance, I’m finally back to moving in ways I thought were off-limits forever. Highly recommend it to anyone dealing with injuries (and/or age) but still wanting to stay active!

I’ve been working with BJ for a while now to alleviate pain in my knee, which was replaced two years ago. My orthopedist said the replacement looked just like it should, which was confusing and frustrating. A friend referred me to BJ. BJ identified tightness in my hip as the issue that was affecting my knee, and has been doing a lot of soft tissue work that’s led to significant improvement, so I’m a big fan of BJ.

Because of several knee surgeries and recurring orthopedic injuries that often kept me sidelined, my PCP recommended I meet with Adam in early 2020. I’ve been a PPT devotee ever since! From day one—when I was awestruck by Adam’s unique evaluation that revealed anatomical issues needing to be addressed—to today, I’ve been impressed with how Adam and his team have created and updated workout regimens tailored to my needs. I have been working with B.J. Baker at Pure Performance Training for nearly two years, training with him three times a week for strength, balance, prehab and rehab, and soft tissue work. Although a latecomer to long-distance triathlon (Ironman and half-Ironman distance), I’m passionate about my training goals, despite some health challenges and a demanding full-time career. Many years ago, when I reported chronic back problems to my primary care doc, she suggested that I check out Pure Performance Training. Over time, as the trainers there worked to strengthen my core muscles, as well as my upper and lower body muscles, the back pain disappeared. That was several years ago. But I continue to go for regular training as I realized the need to maintain overall fitness. I've worked with at least four of their trainers, all of whom are not only knowledgeable but always cognizant of any limitations i have as I age into my late 70s, i.e. acid reflux, knee problems, etc. Without my asking they will incorporate exercises that help me maintain strong bones, good balance, correct posture. As Adam frequently says to me, "Falling is not an option!" When I travel and visit other gyms, I'm able to do my exercises using good form. That's important. Yes, I'm still free of back pain! Highly recommend PPT!

As a middle-aged former competitive athlete, I have been delighted to get to know all of the trainers at Pure Performance. Over the past year I have had the pleasure of working with all of them. World class across the board. I have made gains I thought not possible since my 20s and those old nagging injuries feel better. This is not “just PT” or “just conditioning” or “just strength training”. This is a scientifically-based and experience-driven collaborative environment where that cares about your mental and physical wellbeing beyond the typical sports performance landscape. All three of my children, all likely future college athletes themselves, are also working with these professionals. I cannot recommend Pure Performance highly enough.

I have absolutely loved my time at Pure Performance Training working with such professionals as Adam Vogel, Matt Healey, Nick P, and Blair Lloyd. This past summer I had the privilege of working with the PPT strength and conditioning coaches, helping me prepare for College football as an Offensive Tackle. As a Lineman, I can say it’s easy for us big boys to fall into the “bench and squat only mentality.” Not only did PPT prevent that, but they showed me (non-body taxing) lifting and cardio regimens that have helped me become the football player I’ve always dreamed of being.
I don’t mean to glaze, but PPT became a second home to me. The community the PPT trainers foster is one of positivity, intelligent training, and the “lock in” mentality. There is never any shame when working in that gym (unlike others with a similar business model).
I implore anyone reading this to head over for a consultation or a training session ASAP! I look forward to training when them again soon.
