I’m 1 month in and things are going well. The team is knowledgeable and has great attitudes. They are very welcoming to all levels. Just jump in and start. You will be glad you did.

My son and I have been training here for years. Red Seal transformed my son from a young martial artist with a lot of potential who was struggling with confidence to being a national Muay Thai champion.

Strength & conditioning - If you're like me, navigating the challenges of maintaining a fitness routine during the COVID era was no easy feat. Post COVID - now 44 years old and 245lbs, I found myself stuck on a plateau with home workouts. The wake-up call came when I realized that Father Time was knocking on my door, and I needed to make a change.

Enter Red Seal Gym – a hidden gem in every sense. After mistakenly thinking a Peloton could replace the gym, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and give Red Seal a try. I reached out to Shaun through Instagram, expecting a delay in response, but to my surprise, he got back to me promptly and invited me for a free class the next day.

Opting for the 9 am Strength and Conditioning class (Muay Thai is also available - I'm not there yet), I was greeted by a perfect blend of sport-specific conditioning and heavy bag work. As a novice to bag workouts and someone who hadn't trained much since Division 5 high school sports, I was green to say the least. Fearful of judgment, I was relieved to find the community, led by Shaun, incredibly supportive and fun. The emphasis was on form, not weight, and the focus was on preventing injuries rather than showcasing strength.

Taking breaks was inevitable, and the sweat was pouring, making me question if this was the right fit or just too much at my age. Spoiler alert: it was the right fit. Fast forward four months, and my body has undergone transformations in places I never thought possible at 44. With approximately 15lbs shed and muscle added, all without altering my diet (yes, I still enjoy pizza, pasta, and beers), Red Seal has become my fitness haven.

I can't express enough how Red Seal has been life-changing. The supportive environment, Shaun's guidance, and the camaraderie within the group have elevated my confidence, reshaped my body, and infused me with newfound energy. I've stumbled upon my fountain of youth.

Red Seal is not just a gym; it's a hidden gem. Now that Shaun has retired from professional fighting, he dedicates his time and expertise to the gym. I fully expect this hidden gem to become very popular sooner than later.

What sets Red Seal apart is its diverse offerings. From Muay Thai classes for all levels to children's classes, the gym caters to a wide range of fitness interests. My son, inspired by my newfound energy, has expressed interest in the children's classes, further highlighting the gym's family-friendly atmosphere. If you're contemplating joining, take the plunge. You'll be welcomed with open arms, never feel out of place, and sooner than later, you'll be wondering why you didn't join Red Seal sooner. It's not just a gym; it's a community that transforms lives.

This gym is a great place to train Muay Thai. The classes are challenging but still fun. Shaun, the owner, has so much experience and knowledge that he shares.
