Love it. They offer a wide variety of classes with lots of different instructors and they're all great. I'm relatively new to practicing yoga regularly and there's always room for me to modify or even opt out of a pose without judgement.

I typically like a fast-paced flow and frequent R&S for the mildly heated Flow classes. I injured myself last week and decided to try Doreen's Earthy Flow this morning, and it was just what I needed. Grateful to have this lovely studio in the neighborhood!

Attended my first class today and loved it. I explained my limitations to the instructor (Kelly) and she kept her eye on me and guided me when necessary. She was a great instructor, explaining every move in detail to the class.
The studio is very nice and there is plenty of parking in the back. Highly recommend River and Stone Yoga!🧘

Amazing Yoga Studio
The space is extremely welcoming with amazing teachers, and a diverse/open group of students.
I was looking for a yoga space that allowed me to focus on my physical, mental, and spiritual health. I always feel so much more at peace after class.
I joined in Oct 2024 with an monthly unlimited class membership and has been going about 5-6 times / week. I saw physical results to my body. I feel so much stronger and more tone. I noticed that I slimmed down and my waist got smaller by Dec 2024.
I highly recommend to visit this studio.

River & Stone is a special place and I am happy to call it my yoga home. A studio that very clearly emphasizes quality over quantity, River & Stone emulates yogic principles in all aspects. As a tenured practitioner and RYT, I cannot say enough about the integrity and caliber of this lovely place.

It has taken me far too long to write this, but I’m finally doing it. The first words I said to the owners, Steph and Kelly, were “I’m so excited!” - and I meant it! Roughly walking distance from my house with a wide variety of teachers and classes. Hot classes, warm classes and unheated classes. Teachers who kick my butt and others who feed my soul (actually, they all do that, but in different ways). I don’t have a favorite class or a favorite teacher - they are all outstanding and all different. Some meet my needs more than others, but that is not a dig on any teacher. It’s just what I personally need. All teachers stress that we should do what is right for us, not just do something because we are told to. I have spent entire classes in shavasana if it is right for me that day. After each class I feel like the teacher knew exactly what I needed on that particular day.
Other than the heat, I honestly have no idea what the difference between strong flow, flow, and slow flow is (I’m probably not supposed to say that).
Restorative is exactly what it sounds like and it forces me to relax and take care of myself for an hour, which I likely won’t do at home.
Yin hits the connective tissues and I sleep SO well after that class!
I’ve been taking classes at River and Stone since the day they opened. I try to go every day, unless illness or vacation gets in the way. I made it to 109 days in a row then got whacked by Covid.
During the Covid “vacation”, my chronic back pain returned. Yoga is literally the only thing that helps the pain - so much so that my doctor prescribed yoga every single day. (My old doc would have given me meds to mask the symptoms.)
There have been mini-workshops for the past few months and I think I’ve only missed one. My favorites are the ones where a skeleton shows up to demo things about anatomy.
I’ve gone to a few weekend workshops which have been perfect.
The studio is beautiful. Only one classroom, but it fits plenty of people. The lobby area is decorated in a welcoming manner and the whole place just makes me feel at home.
It may be obvious if you’ve read this far, but I LOVE River and Stone yoga!
A little about me - I’m 65, retired-ish, and I’ve been doing yoga for about 20 years.

Started going here in December 2023 to warm up and stretch with hot yoga and haven’t stopped since. “Stretching” has turned into tons of learning and improved strength and balance, and I look forward to every class I sign up for. Phenomenal teachers, beautiful environment! Thank you, Kelly and Stephanie, for providing a wonderful space this side of Worcester.

I’ve been to plenty of yoga studios in Central MA and Boston area and can confidently say this yoga studio is hands down the best. The instructors are beyond knowledgeable, professional, kind, and great energy- which is exactly what I was looking for when adding yoga back into my practice. I love the restorative, yin, and flow class as it compliments my running and strength training well! It’s also awesome they offer workshops for added educational content. As a physical therapist in the area I recommend to any and all my patients to check this out as there’s a class to meet any needs.

I've been going to River & Stone Yoga for the past few months and it has been an excellent experience! They have a variety of classes to offer, so you can choose whether you want your flow to be more strength based or restorative. They offer great workshops for the same price as a drop in/class and have a community of excellent instructors. The studio itself is peaceful and clean. I enjoy having the option for high, medium, or low heated classes. Highly recommend!

River & Stone is the most welcoming studio I have ever been to. Regardless of who's class you sign up for, you know the experience is going to be top notch. I am consistently impressed by the offerings, the teaching, the accessibility, and the atmosphere. Whether you come for a workshop or are in the studio every day, you're welcomed all the same. Thanks Steph and Kelly for creating this community.

I've been practicing with Steph for years and I am so happy she and Kelly have created a studio and community true to everything I love about Steph's teaching! They offer classes that are perfect for new yogis to advanced, strength to rest. River and Stone's weekly schedule includes many opportunities to practice more than just Asana yoga and span ALL limbs of yoga. AND they have an incredibly talented group of teachers! 10/10!

As a guy who's tried various yoga studios, River & Stone stands out. Right from the entrance, you're greeted by an array of beautiful plants, setting a serene and natural tone. It's got this welcoming vibe that makes everyone, regardless of their yoga level, feel at home. The classes? Top-notch. They cater to beginners and yoga pros alike, each session challenging and rewarding in its own way. The instructors know their stuff and manage to give personal attention, which is a big plus. The studio itself is simple yet elegant, a perfect spot for both unwinding and pushing your limits. Highly recommend giving it a try.

An amazing addition to Park Ave! I had been looking for a truly gentle restorative class to get back to a yoga practice after some injuries. Wednesday night gentle restorative with Emily was perfect. It’s a no heat class with ample use of bolsters and blocks with ample time to ease into each pose. Emily provides a wonderful meditative narrative along the way. I’ve since taken their yin somatic class with Theresa a number of times (also delightful) and even ventured into their slow flow classes with Mar’kee and Adriana. All of the teachers are supportive and foster a sense of comfort with curiosity through the practice. It’s also a gorgeous space to practice in…my new favorite weekly ritual!
