Wonderful Yoga Class Experience!

I recently joined this yoga class, and it has already become one of the best parts of my week. The instructor is calm, knowledgeable, and very attentive to everyone’s comfort and ability level. Each session is well-structured, with a perfect balance of stretching, strength, and relaxation.

I love how welcoming the environment feels—whether you’re a beginner or someone who has practiced before, you’ll feel completely supported. The pace is gentle but effective, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my flexibility and overall mindset.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, positive space to move, breathe, and unwind, I highly recommend joining this class!

I've been coming to roots for nearly 10 years now. When selecting Roots, I visited numerous studios in the area and the type and range of yoga classes offered, quality of instruction, and the demeanor of both instructors and participants has been amazing and unique to Roots. It continues to be a great, supportive community. Glad to recommend to others.

Booked a private class with Leah for my bffs bachelorette. Leah was so wonderful to work with, extremely responsive and friendly. She offered a variety of styles and options she took the time to get a feel for the group while we were planning and even made a custom playlist for us with special songs for the bride. The class was amazing we had a variety of experience lever and everyone was able to participate and enjoy the class. Everything from the flow to the music to the tongue drum and personalized shavasana felt so custom and special I could not have asked for more!

Ginger is so great. The community and teachers are fantastic at Roots. They’re inclusive and work with each student. I was a newbie and I’ve received so much from all the different teachers I’ve had class with. Highly recommend.

Whenever I visit family in Burlington, I love popping into this intimate and cozy studio for yoga. Ginger is very warm and has a great rapport with her students. Most recently I went for a Full Moon Yoga themed class that included a lovely sound bath at the end. Will definitely be back.

I looked up “yoga studios near me” and stumbled upon Roots Yoga. I bought the “newcomers” deal of 2 weeks of unlimited yoga but I will definitely be purchasing a pack of classes once my two weeks is up. It’s an incredibly welcoming space to practice yoga at any level. Upon entering, I just felt a sense of calm and ease. I very much recommend

I have been going to roots for over 8 years now and its been so helpful to me personally, and professionally. Since Covid I feel like we have lost so much community, kindness, and connections. Roots brings it all back. The teachers are all amazing and have their own style of teaching. Ginger is incredibly welcoming, so kind to all with so much knowledge she make sure that we're all safe in our poses. I truly feel I am a better person because of Roots and the teachers that we are so lucky to have!!!

Ginger and her team at Roots are simply the best. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Roots and Ginger through a friend, and although I was intimidated because I had no experience at all, I’ve never looked back. The entire team is welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, very supportive of each students needs and limitations and I leave class each time fulfilled both physically and emotionally. There is something very special that happens within the safety of those 4 walls and I just feel so fortunate to have found them and to have Roots in my life. Roots is #1 on so many levels! THANK YOU ALL.

I felt compelled to write a review after reading the many one star reviews that are about one student. I have ALWAYS felt welcomed and treated with kindness by all of the instructors at Roots Yoga. They are all extremely professional. Don't let the reviews of people who have probably never been to the studio or met the owner or instructors sway you from going to Roots Yoga!

Roots is an amazing studio! I’ve been going for years and Ginger has impacted my life significantly. Not only Ginger, but all of the staff. It is so welcoming and it has become a home for many people.

This studio should truly have 5 stars. I was disappointed to just notice that it’s not 5 stars, and after reading the reviews it looks like there are a group of people that are related to a particular incident. I’m hoping that this isn’t an attack on the studio itself, so as a supporter of this studio I am absolutely standing up for it and just giving an honest and personal review.

I wanted to point this out so it doesn’t blindside those who are truly looking for a good yoga studio to go to. That being said, please don’t hesitate to try this place out. Go and see for yourself. It’s a wonderful community and I will always support this beautiful space that Ginger has created…it’s seriously magic!

Roots Yoga Studio is my place to ground, to center and reset. I love this place, and it not only has to do with the actual classes, but also the community of people that come here. It's people that want to take time out of their day to care of themselves and check in on those around them.

Ginger does a wonderful job of making people feel welcome and all of the instructors I've taken - on getting a feel for where their students are at "skill" wise as well as safety - checking in if any yoginis have injuries, etc.

If you live in the 21st century you know that fitness classes are expensive. Ginger often does discounts around holidays that included $10 classes for $100 - a steal for these kind of classes and makes it accessible for those who maybe can't afford this all the time. Anyways if ya haven't tried Roots get ova here AND park - true north coffee is next door - chefs kiss!

Wonderful place that is welcoming to everyone. As a amateur yoga student I was made to feel welcome and was taught at a level that was easy to grasp but physically challenging.

DO NOT GO HERE! They have denied someone with a disability two times. Their website says “ When you enter our doors you will feel welcomed, relaxed and supported. At Roots, you will feel safe” An absolute joke. If you can’t accept someone with autism you do not deserve to call yourself a yoga studio

This place should be embarrassed by the way that they treat their customers. My friend was denied entry because of her disability twice. It’s inappropriate and dishonest for them to describe their business as “a kind, friendly inviting studio” where people “will feel welcome, safe, and inspired” as their actions do not align with this description.

Refused to allow my autistic daughter to attend a class and recommended she have private lessons. I wonder if they have separate classes different races or ethnicities as they clearly think they can discriminate based on disabilities.

HORRIFIC!!! would give this place a 0/5 if i could. they denied my sister who is non-verbal autistic from attending a yoga class not once but twice! my sister loves yoga and to be outright discriminated against because of her disability is not something i would want anyone teaching me yoga to believe in. you should be ashamed of yourself.

I just got home from a 9:30 AM beginners class after my first Yoga experience. The instructor Ginger was kind, warm and welcoming while also maintaining strict attention and respect from the group. I couldn't have picked a better place to begin. I came for improved flexibility for my golf game and left with a new Sunday morning routine. I couldn't recommend Roots Yoga more, worth every penny

This is an intimate practice space, with a high standard for ensuring that each individual will experience a good practice suited to their own level of experience and fitness. As a yoga instructor myself, I look for attention to safety and yoga principles, and they are honored here. I'm always impressed with the feeling afterwards of tranquility mixed with feeling it was a good workout. With many teachers and themes, it's never stale, and the atmosphere is one of welcome and encouragement.
