I just joined Rozzie Fitness, and I absolutely love it! The small group training sessions make exercising FUN- I work out harder, and it goes by in a flash! After 2 weeks, I'm already feeling stronger (and I've lost a couple pounds, too!) I would recommend Rozzie Fitness to anyone who has trouble getting motivated and doesn't like the gym (like me!) The owners/ instructors Zach and Lianna are both very knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. They've created a wonderful community- I feel so lucky to be part of it! They play great music there, too, and we can all submit playlists! 😊

Rozzie Fitness is the gym I didn’t know I needed, but now I never want to go without. I love the hyper-local community of trainers and other members who I find out are my neighbors. Thanks to this community, I have consistently maintained my routine for almost two years and feel strong. The strength training also helped me prevent injury and inspired me to start physical therapy that resolved aches and pains I used to think I would just live with. I am so appreciative to Rozzie Fit and highly recommend!

Small, inclusive fitness studio that welcomes a wide range of members. The owners have built community among members and the Roslindale community. They are patient and encouraging, especially with people who don't feel comfortable in traditional gyms. I'm glad I found this place!

Rozzie Fitness is a great place to work out. While I occasionally visit in person and enjoy the spacious and well-outfitted facility, I mostly train over Zoom, where Lianna and Zach are great about helping me make any needed adjustments, even from a distance. Consistently training at Rozzie Fitness has helped me feel stronger and more confident over time.

Rozzie Fitness is an incredibly supportive and inclusive space for personal training and group fitness--joining was one of the best decisions I have made recently! I previously enjoyed being active but had difficulty with consistency. The structure of training at Rozzie Fitness really helped me stay accountable and consistent, leading to progress in my endurance and strength. Beyond this, Rozzie Fitness feels more like a community than a gym, and it's fun to connect with trainers and members when in the gym. I joined Rozzie fitness in the summer of 2025 to recover from a shoulder/back issue. I have exercised in the past but was worried about hurting myself getting back into shape. Zach and Lianna have been supportive and helped me get back into shape, and the format of semi-private training sessions and group classes has been engaging, fun, and with many adaptations to fit my growing level of fitness. If you are looking for a gym where you don’t feel intimidated but also need just that right amount of encouragement to push yourself, this is the place! I’ve worked with Lianna and Zach over the past 1.5 years and they’ve helped me gain strength and build muscle mass while having fun! I have never felt stronger and more confident working out. Working out at Rozzie Fitness has not only shown me my potential but it's been the first time in my life I've actually looked forward to working out! It can be awfully hard to find a gym that's both friendly and welcoming to all people and body types, but also pushes you to do your best. Rozzie Fitness manages to do just that. I've never felt stronger than I do today, but also welcomed as a part of a true community.

Rozzie Fitness is a wonderful place - gym and community! For years I kept telling myself I needed to get back into a workout routine, but I struggled to make it happen. I've never been able to keep working out regularly until I joined Rozzie Fitness. Even if I get temporarily off track due to vacation or illness, they make it easy to get right back to it. It's the most supportive gym I have ever been a member of, and I am so much stronger now than when I first joined. They work with each member individually to meet them where they are and help them advance their goals!

I’ve been going to Rozzie Fitness for about a year, I’ve really liked the approach of the group classes + semi-private personal training model. They’ve been great for keeping me accountable in consistently attending fitness classes and also expanding my local community. If you're on the fence about Rozzie Fitness, get off the fence and just sign up. Yes, it is a gym, so yes, you'll have to do some work. That said, you can expect a low-key, supportive environment with tuned-in trainers who push you as much as you need to be pushed on any given day. Self-motivated? Great -- they'll customize plans to help you stay on track and hit your goals. Not someone who loves going to the gym even though you know it's good for you, blah, blah, blah? That's fine too -- they'll help you make it work for you through a combination of genuine encouragement and strategic conversational distraction during your final reps. Have a bum shoulder? Arthritic elbow? Gouty toe? No problem -- they'll modify exercises so you can still get stronger without making anything worse. Bottom line: if you keep showing up, you'll see results. I've definitely gotten stronger and I've met a bunch of friendly neighbors. And if I've improved, so can you. Do your body a favor and give Rozzie Fitness a try.

I was always a team sports kid but that regime just isn't possible as an adult. Rozzie Fitness creates a supportive team environment that's kept me consistent for over a year and really allowed me to feel healthy and strong like when I was playing school sports. Rozzie Fitness is a true community space for fitness and well being here in Rozzie. Lianna and Zach are super knowledgeable, welcoming, relatable and motivating. I’m so glad that I joined and started working out here. I was feeling lost and not myself after having my kids, and Lianna is so supportive and has helped me feel strong and powerful again. For the first time in a long time I feel like I’m taking care of me, and feeling strong, focused, and powerful. In under a year I’ve seen great improvement in my fitness. I’m noticeably stronger, have greater endurance, and am doing exercises I never thought possible. The best part is the community. I was never someone who enjoyed going to the gym, but Zach and Lianna have made such a fun, empowering, and inclusive community at Rozzie Fitness that I was able to build a consistent workout routine for the first time and found myself even looking forward to my sessions. I appreciated Zach and Lianna's approach of helping you set specific, measurable, and functional goals and then tailoring your semi-private work outs to help you reach them. I knew very little about strength training/different exercises, and Zach and Lianna did a fantastic job of providing instruction and feedback, making sure each workout was appropriately challenging, and celebrating progress along the way.

I decided to try training with Lianna at Rozzie Fitness after having a not great experience at a gym with another trainer. That trainer was very aggressive and pushed me beyond what I was able to/felt comfortable doing, which felt unsafe.
Training with Lianna has been an entirely different, and very positive experience. She is supportive and motivating while respecting where my body is at, and offers modifications as needed. I highly recommend the RF team. Lianna has been instrumental in helping me unlock mobility issues and uncovering what's been holding me back when I'm lifting weights. I love how thoughtful she is putting together combinations of movements based on what I realistically have time for in my schedule. I have been training with Lianna for 2+ years. When it comes to my training my plan, we always have worked together to find what's the best for me at my level. She is not afraid to push me when I needed it and she is knowledgeable, detailed orientated, and caring for her clients. Brand new well-equipped gym space inside a cool co-working building.
Lianna can work with anyone no matter their current level of fitness, ability or goals. In fact, I think that's her approach. She doesn't focus on any one thing until she's talked to you about what you want to get out of training. Then she watches you and has the experience and no ego type of personality to tailor her approach to individual clients. In my case, I have lots of self-motivation and can overdo things, so she focuses on trying to keep me from hurting myself :-)).
Lots of easy on-street parking and walkable from Centre Street West Rox and Rozzie Square. 35-37 buses stop right outside.
