Sangha in New Bedford is exactly what I was searching for: Kripalu yoga classes near my home town. The facility is beautiful and the atmosphere is welcoming, calming, and refreshing. Jeff is an exceptional yogi, and his class left me renewed and energized. Highly recommend!!

From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed and greeted with a sense of peace and warmth. The space is clean, beautifully lit and thoughtfully designed to promote calm and focus.

Sangha New Bedford is an amazing yoga studio across from the Zeiterian Theater. The minute you step in, there is a calm, welcoming vibe that is adorned with plenty of healthy plants, couches and friendly people. They have a variety of yoga instructors and morning and evening classes to accommodate most schedules. Jeff and Howard are the very best at helping in any way. There is an amazing gift shop and an elegance to the studio complete with crown molding, marble pillars and floor to ceiling windows. One of the biggest perks are the fellow yogis that are so warm, they make you feel at home and comfortable. I especially like that there is a designated space to hold your personal matt and props so you don't have to carry them in and out of your car. Not to worry if you don't have a matt, Sangha has you covered with ones you can borrow. Come and join the fun, you'll walk out feeling better than when you walked in, every time.

Every time I come back to the Southcoast to visit family, I try to make a stop at Sangha. Located in historic downtown, I love to gaze up at the ornate molding and trim on the ceilings and view of the Ziterion Theatre is an extra treat. A beautiful studio space, with passionate & certified instructors. Took a class with Jeff a few years back, and Chris this time. Both great classes! A warm hello from Howard and Smurf (their super cute new four legged employee!) was a cherry on top! Thank you Sangha! Looking forward to my next visit already.

This is a great yoga studio, the energy here is very positive and welcoming. The instructors are all very helpful and attentive. If you are looking for a workout that is good for the mind and body, that brings as much peace at it brings you strength i recommend yoga , and i recommend this studio in particular because of its spiritual and holistic approach, genuinely kind staff, and calming ambience. I also have to say every person I’ve met here is polite and makes my day! There is a great community here for sure. I give it 10 stars

Last evening at restorative yoga I felt a enormous release of stored negative energy. Jeff did an outstanding job to welcome my boyfriend and I into the studio with an open heart. This was our first experience in a restorative class, typically I go for a power core class. However slowing down is an important part of my self-care routine, and engaging in this deep rest is potent medicine, for both the body and soul. I am feeling lighter and brighter since this practice and I highly suggest you attend this class. A complete body reset! Jeff is a magnificent healer, I can hardly wait for my next class here!

My friend Corey, a yoga instructor introduced me to Sangha. He was always telling me it is a special place. Finally last Thanksgiving I attended a class as his guest and have now been a member for seven months.
Sangha has classes for every level and instructors will always show modifications if needed. You will never feel uncomfortable or embarrassed because you can't do a pose. Each instructor brings their own style and soulfulness to each class. Which is why I sometimes do two classes a day!
I always leave Sangha feeling like the world is a better place.

I really enjoyed this place. An authentic Yoga practice focused on feeling good vs looking good :) I took 2 classes, 1 w/ David and 1 w/ Jeff. Both classes were mindful, intentional, and opened the body nicely. A beautiful atmosphere combined with experienced instructors teaching genuine Yoga - what else do you need? My time here is transformative. Jeff has the uncanny ability to meet me where I am and gently, kindly, joyfully lead me through the most restorative hour of my week. This yoga studio is simply perfect! The owners are so welcoming and just good humans!! I’ve attended several classes and a recent workshop…all great!! The location is beautiful too. Highly recommend taking a class if you haven’t already. Just wish this studio was closer for me so I could drop-in more frequently…but I will be back very soon.

I started coming here when BASK sponsored the summer Saturdays. I ended up trying a lot of the other classes to get a feel for what I liked and wanted to continue. I absolutely love mediation with David on Mondays following yoga with him. Jeff's Friday yoga was also a favorite. This place is super accepting, they make you feel like you've known them forever. I highly suggest if you want to try yoga but are intimidated by just showing up, don't be try here, you'll love it!

This is a perfect addition to Downtown New Bedford. Right when you enter the space, one can feel a calm, healing energy greet you. The space is warm, clean and not pretentious. All instructors are carefully selected to guide classes w/a goal of being inclusive and safe to all comers. Jeff and Howard (the owners) take great care to facilitate a loving, healing oasis for people trying to start or continue their fitness and yoga journey.
