DON’T GO!!
This guys are charging $19 dollars for a pair of socks in order to enter to the class. That is CRAZY!! The worst part is that the classes are not even that good. This is definitely a SCAM! Safe yourself some money and go to any other studio.

SLT Back Bay is such a beautiful studio its clean, bright, and super inviting. The instructors I've had are amazing at giving clear, detailed guidance, so you always feel like you’re getting the most out of every class. I also love how many class times they offer throughout the day, which makes it so easy to fit a workout into a busy schedule.

AVOID KATRINA BREWER. I spent over $2,000 at SLT in just a few months, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences of my life. Before joining SLT, I strength-trained on my own, and I wish I had stayed with my own routine instead of getting involved with this studio. There are plenty of boutique studios and gyms in Boston, but if you value your health, well-being, and happiness, this is one to avoid. It has been a deeply regrettable experience, and there are no refunds.
Virtual Peloton workouts are far less expensive—and far better for you—than becoming the target of endless gossip and negativity. Walking into this studio felt like stepping into a room more toxic than a garbage dump in Fukushima. What a waste.

Horrible. My sister, friend and I were in Boston for a weekend and we always love working out at the local lagree studios whenever we’re in a new city and have always had GREAT experiences doing so. Unfortunately, this is the only lagree option in the downtown area and was absolutely not worth our time or money. The instructor Katrina did not even take a minute to greet or speak to us (brand new clients) before the class started, thank goodness we have 4 years of lagree background and know what we are doing. My sister is pregnant and knows all of the proper modifications and was doing them throughout. 20 minutes into the class Katrina asked her why she was modifying, my sister told her she is pregnant and Katrina got legitimately angry at my sister for not informing her prior to class beginning. How was she supposed to do that when we were never spoken to?? My sister was modifying a move that involved twisting (twisting is NOT allowed in pregnancy) and the instructor wrongfully told her she can twist and does not need to modify, could seriously injure a pregnant client! Thank god my sis did not listen and knew what she was doing. Made the rest of the class very uncomfortable. I love lagree but I do not recommend this studio, Boston needs better.

Michelle is by far the best Lagree instructor I have ever had! She is helpful, attentive, and brings a lively spirit to class. I try to get book a spot for her classes, as they fill up very fast. I especially appreciate the form corrections, Michelle does a great job at making sure everyone is up to speed with the moves and how to do them properly.

I did this workout almost everyday for 3 months thinking I was going to get long and lean. In the beginning that is what was happening but I think I may have overdid it because my body developed and I got pretty big and muscle-y. (And a huge butt😳.) If that is what your going for you should definitely do this class, but if you are going to get strengthened, lengthened and toned I suggest you go somewhere else or only do it a few times a week. I did not receive the results I was looking for but I’m sure that somebody is looking for exactly that.

This is the hardest/best exercise class I’ve been to. It’s done wonders for my mobility/flexibility. Katrina is a fantastic instructor and runs a great studio.

I took a Sunday class with my sister and Jane was just such an amazing instructor! So clear on instructions, displayed movements and was so nice. We left feeling so strong, will definitely go back! 11/10!

Don’t know how the classes are but this is for the studio communication. Booked first class and received zero email/preparation communication. Was notified I got off the waitlist an hour prior to class. Rushed here 3min late and wasn’t let in. Completely understand policy but this is my 1000th reformer class. If the communication isn’t tight at least be a bit more accommodating.

I recently moved to Boston, MA from Cleveland, OH and was looking for a new fitness studio. It's always a little nerve wracking trying new studios but SLT has been great! They are very welcoming, helpful with cues & incredibly understanding. If you are on the fence of trying one of their classes, this is your sign to try one! You'll either be humbled, sore, addicted or all of the above. :)

Booked thru classpass. Was late for just 5mins and then I can't be allowed into the studio (no info said from the studio Or classpass I can't be allowed into it if i were 5 minutes late). I just missed 5mins because of the Friday traffic...then I get charged for the class + extra $31 charged for I missed the class + one hour wasted waiting and calling to talk with the studio.

Lovely studio. I would have to say based on my prior experience with reformer pilates that SLT is not for beginners (or people trying to get back in shape post COVID). Really wish they offered more modifications or beginners classes.

All of the teachers seem great, I more regularly take class with Amanda or Emily, and they both are amazing. I had a crazy busy day today, and Amanda pushed me to sweat it all away. I felt great walking out the door - it's a perfect way to start or end the day. Also, there's so much room to get stronger!
