SDSS Martial Arts of Wellesley offers engaging martial arts programs for children, teens, and adults, blending traditional techniques with modern self-defense strategies. Our offerings include Tiny Tigers for preschoolers, Tigers for elementary-age students, Dragons classes for older kids, dynamic sessions for teens, and comprehensive training for adults. Located at 277 Linden Street, our studio provides personalized instruction in a supportive and welcoming environment. Whether you're new to martial arts or have prior experience, our classes help students build confidence, discipline, and physical fitness—all while having a great time and progressing at their own pace.

Sensei Nicco does a phenomenal job of keeping the class moving and the kids engaged with either a small or a large group. He has tremendous energy that echoes through his enthusiastic encouragement to each child. He is consistently patient, encouraging, and adapts his approach to meet each child’s individual needs. The class is well organized and active, even with very young children.
Sensei Nicco sets clear, respectful boundaries, such as: “why do I hear you?”. He reinforces positive behavior with warmth and humor: “Thanks, buddy, that was really kind of you!” My husband and I both admire how he maintains discipline while making the environment, fun and uplifting. His ability to spot and reinforced kindness so quickly is rare and speaks to a special kind of intelligence. Sensei Nicco truly enjoys the children and has exceptional skills as an educator. We have seen our grandchild thrive in this environment. I highly recommend this studio.

We can't say enough wonderful things about the incredible team, especially Sensei Nicco and Sensei Hill. They have had a profoundly positive impact on both of our sons, helping them grow not just in skill, but in confidence, respect, and character.
My wife and I are beyond grateful for the dedication and heart they bring to class. We've watched our boys flourish under their guidance, and we feel so lucky to have found them. Thank you for all you do!

Sensei Nicco and Hill are squared away. Great people that keep clearly care about their students. They keep the class fun and actually get the kids to do the moves correctly.
In addition they have thoughtful and insightful discussions on many different topics.
They know everyone’s name and extremely communicative with parents, always offering make up choices when life gets in the way.
We have been very pleased being here. I would call it fun disciplined learning. Well worth it this is a win.

Nicco is just plain awesome. The minute we walked into the door he made our son feel valued and at home. After three years being with his studio we could not imagine any other studio for our family. We can't wait to get our other kids up and running with him as soon as they are old enough! You can't go wrong, he's that good! And on top a really awesome person!
