The Studio Method is designed to develop core strength, balance, flexibility and endurance by combining the best of barre, Pilates and high intensity interval training. Every class is musically driven, purposefully set to an ever-changing and fun playlist that maintains an efficient pace to keep you focused and motivated.
The method is made up of four classes: Barre, High Intensity Interval Barre (HIIB), Bootcamp and Pilates on the Reformer-X. While the four classes are designed to complement each other with their diverse cardiovascular intensities and types of muscle strengthening exercises, each class is developed to effectively standalone as a full-body workout. No matter your skill level, you will see and feel results instantly.

My friend and I visited Nantucket for the weekend and took a barre class with Ally. We absolutely LOVED it! The class was challenging, the music was great, and the studio was clean and beautiful. Studio Nantucket is located perfectly in the center of town. Ally was a phenomenal instructor and her positive energy, bubbly personality, and encouragement throughout the class made us want to come back every weekend! I love how she remembered every persons name throughout the class and would encourage us to keep going or mention if we had great form - it was super motivating! I always appreciate when instructors like Ally help to correct you if your form is a little off so you can get the most out of your workout without hurting yourself. Overall phenomenal experience at Studio Nantucket and weβve already decided a class with Ally is a must every time we visit!

We went for the boot camp class, where we had a very nice instructor, who did his best to get everyoneβs heart pumping. However, they have extremely limited space and virtually no equipment for the class (although they do have five or six huge Pilate machines upstairs). Cardio in the class was limited to jumping jacks, burpees, and high knees. Weights capped out at 8 lbs. For $30ish a class, I would have expected more. Perhaps the outdoor classes (done in a park) are better where space is less of an issue.

I really enjoyed my 1st Barre class here it was great! Awesome teacher and group. Nice clean space right in heart of downtown Nantucket. Restorative yoga with Maggie after was awesome. I'm looking forward to going back.

Lorna was amazing! She had a contagious,welcoming smile. I won't soon forget the challenging workout - in which I appreciated ! I take a lot of barre classes and this was too notch!
