We are a high quality dance studio dedicated to affordable training and commitment to every student.
Located in Southcoast MA. Dance to the top at Summit Dance Center where we fully commit to the development and training of EVERY student in all level programs. Keeping it fun, positive, and motivational beyond just dance education. Our memberships offer both recreational and competitive training aimed to help you achieve your highest goals. There is so many life skills to be learned from dance, our faculty focuses on more than just the physical. We believe, whether it be a hobby or career, it is important to instill the value of dedication, discipline, and hard work while reaching full potential in the world of dance. You’ll move mountains!

Shawn has been two of my daughters hip hop dance teacher for 3 years. My daughters started off very shy and not showing much of their fun and creative sides . They weren’t very talkative with anyone and tried to stay to themselves at first. Throughout their dance seasons both of my daughters have blossomed. They have made long lasting friendships and they show up to class looking forward to see Mr.Shawn as he has his way with breaking them out of their shell and bringing about their best side naturally. Their confidence shines bright during recital and they look up to Mr.Shawn as a role model. Some dance teachers focus more on one aspect or another of dance whether it be technical or timing which are certainly important but Mr.Shawn has a natural gift of helping the little ones become comfortable with themselves , correcting them in a way that brings about their confidence and allows them to bring their own uniqueness and incorporate that into the dance routine which leads to an amazing dance recital ! I couldn’t be more proud of my girls & I thank Mr.Shawn for dedicating his time in helping them grow as dancers .

September 2021, I walked into the dance studio with my 3 yr old neice and didn’t know anyone but it became clear very quickly that Mr Shawn was the guy that everyone wanted to know. There stood a man with a big smile, who every child couldn’t wait to say hi to, or share a story with, and he didn’t let them down.
Very quickly my neice had the same response…whatever class Mr Shawn was teaching was a class she wanted to take.
Shawn Pacheco’s love for dance was evident as was the love for the children. He wanted nothing more than to see them grow as dancers and his belief in them was made clear. We can’t thank Mr Shawn enough, my niece is one of the many who has benefited from his amazing talents.

For the last ten years, Shawn has been an empowering dance instructor for my daughters. I appreciate his positive, uplifting approach to teaching the art of dance. They have so much confidence on the stage and I know it is because of Shawn’s guidance and encouragement. My family is forever grateful to have him as a dance teacher!

It’s hard to put into words the positive impact Mr Shawn has had on our daughter who has danced with him since she was 2. As she goes into her 7th year of dance, we are incredibly thankful for the amazing teacher he has been who not only focus’ on proper technique but who has been the most incredible role model for her, in her words “I want to be a dance teacher just like Mr Shawn when I grows up”. He has been a safe place for our daughter to go and to always feel welcomed, safe, have fun and be herself. He is constantly encouraging inclusiveness, kindness, leadership, generosity, and empathy which truly has made the studio a second home. The life lessons that are learned through dancing are immeasurable and the growth we have seen over the years both on and off the stage are credited to being “raised” in an uplifting and loving dance environment. The students are constantly challenged to reach their full potential in dance and to carry over the lessons taught in the studio to their everyday lives. Our family has many years of memories with Mr Shawn and we are so blessed to be a part of his journey to the top! We are so excited to be apart of the Summit family!
