The fields are not too bad,, but the management in this place got to be one of the worst ones the lady and the old guy always yells at you for no reason, we used to play wednesdays from 5 to 6 one day the doors were open but the lights were off,,the lady shows up at 5:30 to turn the lights on,,and then she said we have to pay full price for the field when we only play half hour,,and it was not even our fault…so just don’t go to this place you gonna be so disappointed..

Horrible manager and management. Extremely lacking in respect and customer service, let alone common decency and sense.

Facility was happy to take our money all summer without ever turning Air Conditioning on. As soon as fall arrived , manager point blank refused to let us play at all because we cancelled only 1 appointment and cancelled it way in advance and sent him a cancellation in writing as well as called him over the phone to apologize.

FYI, we played there twice a week for almost a year, and the manager still treated us this way, so you can imagine how he would behave with even newer customers.

Manager has been consistently rude , grumpy, and crass pretty much everytime I had to deal with him.

I highly recommend NOT to go there...

Many other establishments that treat paying clients with respect, let alone turn on the AC so clients can have reasonable experience.

They are very rude and unprofessional. They canceled our weekly reservation twice without a notice. My friends and me went there from so many different places, some of which are an hour away, and they don’t bother to even give us a call ahead to let us know, OR even give us a reason to why they canceled our reservation. Best place around if your looking for freeweigts and classic weight lifting. I love the array of free weights, squat racks, Barbells, shoulder press racks and hammer strength machines as well as being the perfect atmosphere to get a really intense and satisfying work out in. I just wish they had a couple of decline situp benches for a good ab work out. Overall this a great gym to throw around some Iron.

This is why we go all the way to Denver to play;
Today Saturday February 13, 2021We had a game booked for 7 AM.
We were at the door most of us 10 minutes before seven first we were hoping we could get in at least five minutes early but the girl that was there this morning decided not to open the door until it’s7 .

So basically we started the game around 7:10, We continued playing until 854 where are the lights turn off and then we got to see this girl coming in screaming at us for no reason saying get out of here now!!
So we were grow our items and then she came into the field saying get out of here now!! Raising her voice for no reason at all! A few of the guys said it’s still early and then she got so upset saying everybody out right now I am the boss here !! She even said that she doesn’t want us back in that place ever !! Not sure what is up with her but yes we will never come back ! It’s a group of 48 players that you will never see again ! really what’s so funny is this girl she just wanna show off there was no reason for none of this and then for her to tell us this and screaming at the guys and raising her hands this is such a shame I feel bad for the owner she’s destroying your business!! We asked for her name but you didn’t want share it with us ! Anyway you can look at your schedule and find out who was there Saturday, February 13 , 7 AM a.m.

manager treated me and my friends very badly. he never listened to us, we never negotiated prices with him. we always pay what he determined. has no education to talk, especially with the Latin people. my friends and I feel discriminated against by him. Deois of more than 13 years playing in this place, every Saturday. he put us out as if we were animals. this happened because when we ran playing soccer, the mask of 3 players automatically lowered to the neck.

Good selection of equipment and lots of people who compete. Could be a great gym if owners/mgmt wasn’t so lazy.

All 4 stepmills have been broken for over a month. No plan in place to fix it.

Lots of equipment closed for “social distancing”. We’re going to be under these social distancing regulations for awhile, wouldn’t any gym that actually cared about it’s customers rearrange the equipment so that it could continue to be used?

Bring my own wd 40 from time to time because zero maintenance done on the equipment.

Also, closes at 9pm. Hours are terrible.

Field is in terrible condition. “Goal posts” are like daggers. Turf is not secured to the ground and missing pieces everywhere. Boards have many cracks in them, especially near one of the benches where there’s at least a 5ft crack along the boards. Bathroom facilities are terrible. Water is never working and no paper towels. League rules are unlike any other and not displayed anywhere.

Great place for all levels of athletes, or anyone who is just looking to get fit and healthy. Clean, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. No long waits for equipment, affordable, with a large clientele of long time members. I my self have been a consistent member since I was 16 and I still see a lot of the same people to this day. I highly recommend this gym..

I've been training for 8 years and what I like most is the motivation you feel when you're training, the if they are going to train do not talk on the phone, talk to the one on the side. the only thing is that they put a little more maintenance to the gym.

I was a member for three months, approximately Feb 15 to May 15 2019. This gym is a mixed bag, but overall I would do it again next year for three months in the 2020 winter.

The bad: On day one when I showed up in mid-February,, the men's showers and steam room were taken offline. Lou the owner said that the City of Revere building inspector forced him to shut it down until the code violations were corrected. It is not a good sign when your facility can't even meet basic city codes! The person he hired to renovate it was obviously taking his sweet time and was not in a hurry. I would sure have liked to take a shower afterward before going to work!

And in all three months I was there, it never reopened. Let me know if the men's showers ever do reopen. Who has heard of a gym without a shower?

More bad: The water fountain was broken for a week, although the guy at the front desk was always willing to fill my water bottle promptly at the juice bar. Stairmaster machines were frequently broken and took days to fix, sometimes more than a week, Again, the owner does not seem to prioritize the timeliness of repairs. Except for the Stairmasters, there are enough cardio machines for peak times, but only two of the elliptical machines have moving arms. The other elliptical machines move the legs only.

Even more bad: The men's lockers had a generally musty smell and the gym had a typical "gym" smell. Who uses carpeting in a locker room? That stained carpet does not quite look clean. The place did not come across as clean as most other gyms I've encountered through the years. The place is generally geared toward muscle-heads and weightlifting. The cardio section and classes work fine but are more of an afterthought. The spinning classes advertised on the website do not actually take place at all, although the "Spin Zone" room always sits empty with are what I assume working bikes.

You could feel out of place here in this old-school gym. I was the only guy or lady lifting here wearing a wedding ring, and I made it a point to look a good number of times. Are weekday evenings forbidden times for married people to go to this gym? It seems like everyone is in their twenties and thirties.

Now for the good: This gym will let you in with an unbeatable 5 day free trial. You can see for yourself if the drawbacks are enough to steer you away. The rates are pretty cheap for a gym that has every available freeweight exercise in every available position you can imagine. If you want freedom to easily do a variety of freeweight and dumbbell exercises, you are all set here, unlike at the nearby Planet Fitness. There are more Nautilus-style weight machines that you will ever need and, if that is your style of lifting, you are all set here too. The treadmills, nautilus-style machines, freeweights, and dumbbells are all vastly working, plentiful, and in good condition. They have free personal trainers, including the owner Lou, who really know their stuff and are a step above the Planet Fitness "trainers."

And finally, there are a good variety of membership options. Please keep in mind that if you are month-to-month, they will charge you one extra month before they actually cancel you because they "require" a "thirty day notice." What is NOT advertised on the site is that you can actually buy a fixed three-month membership for $75 with no strings attached, which I did. I frankly don't see how a gym can make money selling 3-month memberships to folks like me who will only go the gym in the winter, but there it is. Take advantage of it!

Dumbbells go up to about 200 I believe. Many benches and squat racks, and an area just for deadlifts.

Poor Customer Service, Shady business practices!

I have been trying to cancel my memebership for 4 months now! I called & I was told they would make note of it but I needed to contact the Manager. I called and he seems to never be there, I went in several times and was told I was allset in January. I emailed the manager and finally got a response in February apologized for still being charged in February and it would be cancelled and I would be reimbursed for any charges. March charged again! No response to my emails or calls. Had to cancel any payment to them thru my bank, forced to file a formal complaint with the BBB since I am not getting responses, stop payments or any credits... Crazy and Shady business practices!

Poor customer service, I got charge for some fee which is not on my contract, I went there, they admitted that charge was not supposed to be by contract, but in order to reimburse the money back I need to catch the manager. I was calling 3-4 times on time what receptionist suggested me to call, but never got to the manager and never got my money back. Definitely unsatisfied customer, won't come back again.
P.S. the Gym is cool tho, not long wait and good environment, way better that Planet fitness.
