The perfect safe place to find my way back into fitness. Artie and the Healthy Fit community was the accountability I needed, and the judgement-free environment to push myself when I wanted to, and simply show up when that’s all I could do. His classes are easy to follow for any fitness level and modified to whatever intensity I needed that day. I’m incredibly grateful for the past year I’ve spent at HF, building myself back up, finding not just my strength but also my identity outside of kids, bringing energy and motivation to the rest of my life.
After 4+ years being out of any exercise routine, having 2 babies and another on the way, I needed something easy and convenient and this was it. At 20 weeks pregnant HF was where I prepped for birth. At 8 weeks postpartum it’s where I let myself heal and Artie helped me modify at every stage with focus on pelvic floor and mobility. Now at 1 year postpartum the best result is feeling strong for my kids and being able to toss my 4 yr old in the air, jump with my 3 yr old, and have the energy to keep up with them all. Give the Healthy Fit a try, you won’t regret it.

I had the pleasure of working with Artie for personal training sessions, and I can’t recommend him enough. Artie is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, yet kind-hearted and genuinely caring. He’s not afraid to have honest, heart-to-heart conversations and never sugarcoats anything — which I truly appreciate.
During the sessions, he consistently guided me on the correct form to ensure I was training safely and effectively. Beyond the studio, he also offers practical advice on what I can do on my own, helping me stay on track even outside of our sessions.
Artie is, without a doubt, one of the most genuine and dedicated trainers I’ve ever met. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your progress and well-being, Artie is the person to work with!

Healthy Fit is one of the best health and fitness centers a person can go to for individual personalized training and group training, and know that you will get the most comprehensive, knowledgeable, and contemporary trained owner and trainer. Artie, the owner and the main trainer knows more than the average Joe. He is quintessentially hands-down one of the best trainers I’ve had in my long athletic career as an elite/ runner Olympic level gymnast and as a competitive runner. He tailors every workout to each individual and takes into account nutrition and lifestyle . He motivates, cheerleads and encourages your growth in all aspects. Forget big box gyms and make a great choice for a lifestyle commitment at Healthy Fit. You won’t be disappointed.

He is extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with your body, eating, exercise etc. He is so accommodating if you have any injuries or issues with balance etc. He is so friendly and genuinely wants to see you succeed. My husband and I have been going to The Healthy Fit for about a year and a half now, and absolutely love it there. It’s a small gym with a fun and comfortable vibe. The owner, Artie, is very professional and knowledgeable. He creates workouts that my husband and I can do together and also adapts them to various injuries we’ve had.
We’ve made a lot of progress with strength building that we would never would have been able to do on our own or at one of the chain gyms. Highly recommend The Healthy Fit!!

Artie's fitness knowledge got me back on track.
He's been able to adapt workouts around a couple of long term injuries.
He remains focused on the workout. He always has a solid plan in place for each session. Artie checks in a few days before each session which I very much appreciate.
The atmosphere is fun and comfortable, and not intimidating. I would highly recommend The Healthy Fit to anyone at any fitness level.

I can’t say enough good things about Artie and his team. I came in as a commercial HVAC tech that hadn’t exercised in years.
Artie structured a program around my personal goals of developing both more strength and muscle endurance. Approximately 90 days in I’m seeing muscle definition I haven’t seen in over 10 years, I’m able to lift hundreds of pounds, and the most noticeable is how much easier the physical tasks of my job are. Being in commercial HVAC I often have to carry heavy equipment either through a large building or to a roof. This used to be a burden but has become easy.

Artie is a one of a kind trainer. My fitness journey has always been very personal to me. Artie has worked with my to perfect the foundations, and build strength and confidence all within in what is comfortable to me. Artie provides additional support when you are not in the gym of customized workout plans for when your home or in my case on the road traveling for work. Whenever I need to change my schedule due to work travel, Artie is always more than accommodating.
Additionally, if you are considering joining for weight loss, Artie will hold you accountable daily via an app for your food and macro intake. I would recommend Artie and his gym over and over again! They truly care and just get it!

I have been training with Matt for about 3 months and I continue to be impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I have Crohn’s disease and found working out without vomiting impossible, that has completely changed. Matt researched my disease and completely customized my routine to accommodate my flares and pace myself to avoid nausea. I would not have been able to do this on my own. I train twice a week and have been seeing amazing results that my family/friends are noticing. I am so so happy I invested in MYSELF and made this lifestyle change that would not have been possible without the healthy fit. I would 10/10 recommend Matt to anyone on their fitness journey. Healthy Fit isn’t my first personal training rodeo, but it’s one of the first places where I don’t feel judged when I walk in the door.
I’ve worked with Matt since April and I wouldn’t want anyone else to push me through workouts! He holds me accountable and also is super understanding when life is hectic and I stray off my fitness journey. He never fails to help me push through with a positive attitude when I'm on my 3rd or 4th set. He is able to make working out not feel like a chore, but something I look forward to each week and want to do my homework so that I may “show off” my progress. He listens to my goals and is sometimes more amped up than I to see them accomplished, but I need someone like that :) I highly recommend training at this studio!

Artie is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He trains my husband and I twice a week and always has new exercises for us. Artie is just simply the best. Communicative, relatable, and motivated to absolutely push you to the limit. This dude had me sweating and aching more than I had in years just in our introductory half-hour session - imagine how I'm feeling months later with 2 1-hour long sessions a week! But seriously, having worked with other trainers in the past, what makes Artie stand out from the rest is how the progression of working with him feels natural instead of just a business-client transaction. Not only does he genuinely care about my growth, but we've become great friends and I look forward to working out with him every week - he's also EASILY the most flexible person when it comes to scheduling and you'll always be able to get a class rescheduled if you can't make it with no issues. I've lost 35 pounds in only a few months of working with Artie, and I can easily see myself working with Artie long after I hit my weight loss goal.

I had my first visit today and I was very happy! I am a busy nurse and the 1/2 hour class makes things more manageable to fit in. This being 10mins away from my work I thought let's give it a try, and my coworker highly recommended Artie. Everything was personalized and if you needed modifications they were shown to help get you threw each exercise depending on your needs. Artie was very nice and I felt like I was warming welcomed. This isn't an easy task to accomplish being in a crazy pandemic world. Everything was clean and spaced out with only a few people per class. I'll be going back and can't wait to get back into shape with artie's help. I sometimes get embarrassed that I'm not in shape enough and that discourages me from going to a gym, thankfully I felt comfortable here so that makes it easier to continue to get to my goal weight, shape and fitness level!

Healthy Fit has been awesome! 2020 has been a rollercoaster year, but with Artie helping keep me active with his dynamic workouts I’ve avoided the “Quarantine 15”! Each workout can be modified depending on your abilities and they are always different which keeps me from getting bored! Artie is the best!

I’ve been working with Artie at healthy fit llc 1 on 1 for the last few weeks and I can honestly say it was an amazing choice to make with COVID still being present. I was nervous to go back to the gym and disappointed with losing the muscle I had prior to quarantine. After just a few weeks I feel just as strong, if not stronger in some aspects. I've always been an avid gym-goer but then Covid hit. I lost motivation to work out and I'm pretty sure my downstairs neighbors were tired of hearing me do burpees! I was looking for a clean place to workout with minimal other people in the gym. I came across the Healthy Fit and it was a huge game changer for me! I regained so much of my strength so quickly! If you’re looking to get into shape under intelligent and patient direction, look no further.
Another plus is the personalized approach. Artie makes himself available outside of classes. On numerous occasions I have reached out to him for guidance on topics such as nutrition and fasting.

I've been training with Artie for 3 years and he's help me transform from an overweight sack of potatoes who could barely lift 5lb weights to shredded. Whatever goal you are trying to achieve, he will help make happen. I've lost over 25 pounds with him, I've gained strength to where I could bench, squat and deadlift 135+ pounds, to passing several Police Physical Fitness exams. If you're not about the lifting life, he has plenty, and I mean PLENTY of body-weight exercises and workouts to get you there. He's also great at adapting and changing his workouts on the fly in case you are recovering from an injury or rehabbing. Also, he'll give you nutrition tips to help you reach your goals. Literally, whatever you throw at him, he's got your back. Don't get me wrong, he will push you but he will also get you results as long as you're giving it your best. Did I also mention how personable he is? His down-to-earth personality makes it a welcoming environment for even the anxious types. I am so glad he opened his own gym. Definitely worth it.

Artie has been working with me for 3 years. He has become an essential part of my week. His new studio is welcoming and well equipped to train clients of all levels. He mixes up his workouts so you’re never bored and makes sure to keep each workout personal to what your needs are. You need to check out this gym! My gym. It is personalized for different needs, classes in the morning and one-on-one sessions throughout the day. (I do one-on-one's three days a week.) Artie really knows training and rigorously delivers it with a smile. He will work you from beginning to end---always looking for improvement. The facility is on Main Street in North Reading right next to Kitty's. The space is spartan with all the equipment necessary to get the job done. (It's not a stupid-large industrial space with 100 odd machines.) The focus is always on me and my next rep. And I can play my own music while I do it too. Take a look!

Great experience. Did the 6:10am group class led by Artie, and felt amazing after the half hour HIIT session. Artie will help you make adjustments to each station to accommodate for any sort of individual injury or instability. He prioritizes proper form over rep quantity, which will no doubt benefit the body as time goes on. Excited to come back!

I've been going to the Healthy Fit since it opened. In the beginning I was very stiff with achy joints. After a few sessions I am becoming stronger and so much more flexible. Artie is extremely patient and knowledgeable .Because of this the results are noticeable. I definitely plan on continuing..
