Our 3-year-old had a fine experience in classes, but we have had the worst experience since then trying to close our account. I have called repeatedly, left voicemails, and sent emails, and no one responds to me. You cannot close your account online yourself, nor remove your credit card from your account, so I have been auto-charged the last two years. Bad on my part not to check after I was charged last year (2023), but I had assumed they would close my account following my email. They did not, which I realized after the charge in December 2024. I called to issue a stop payment on my CC, but I still feel uncomfortable with my CC on an active account. My last resort is to drive over during business hours to speak to someone in person, which is a ridiculous necessary measure.

We signed our daughter up for a toddler session on Saturdays. Like other recent reviews (Sept 2024), no sign of life at the building, phone number disconnected, and website gone. We signed up for the session in late August, basically a week before the session was to start. What is going on?! Avoid at all costs or you'll end up with a toddler in tears too.

Signed my daughter up for the toddler session on Sundays at 10:45. Showed up for 3 weeks in a row with the door locked and no one in the building. Numerous other parents and kids waiting there. On the second week, she said that it would be open the following week. Again no one was there. The number is disconnected and the website doesnβt exist. Do yourself and your kid a favor and go somewhere else.

This location appears to be closed without any notice. We showed up to a class on Saturday 8/31. There were no teachers in the building and no communication saying that the class was cancelled. All lights in the building were on, but their phone number was out of service and their website is down. I sent multiple emails to the owner, Deedee, but have not heard back yet.
Edited to add: The reply to this review says the program runs from Sept-June. However my daughter did a class that started in July, was cancelled, and then resumed for the month of August. And that still does not explain why the phone number and website are out of service.

Paid for a class and membership on 8/4 and showed up at the gym (with about 5 other families) to find the doors locked and no one there. Still have not gotten a response from anyone to my request for a refund.

I signed my kid up for a summer Sunday toddler session in April 2024, choosing the course over many other summer options. We found out the entire program was cancelled on the third session in June, an hour and a half before the class started. Can you guess how many other summer programs have openings in late June? While we received a pro-rated refund, we received no explanations, no opportunity to find out about other classes we could take, and only a vague response that things would be up and running again by July 15th. It's now July 15th and we haven't heard anything. Unless you want to have your time wasted, don't bother with this disorganized, irresponsible program. It seems like from our own experience and many others who have already posted here that there are serious managerial problems and a huge lack of responsibility. Don't bother - we won't again!

Left the Watertown location a few months ago because they frequently had too few coaches for the number of students. The low level of supervision impacted not only learning but also behavior issues and safety. Management was not reliable, but I would be happy to see this whole situation improve.

Signed my daughter up for an independent class at the Waltham location and they have been under staffed for all 5 classes she's done which lead them to combine the toddler class with the "independent class". There's nothing independent about this to begin with.
This Sunday, we showed up for class and no one was there. No email until this morning with barely an apology. Completely unacceptable & disappointing.

Owner will use insensitive words to refer to a 6 year old student just because they were expecting to refund a camp THEY canceled. If you want your child to feel like a number, unwelcomed and unappreciated, this is the place for you. They don't care about the kids, all they care about is their money. Read facebook reviews, this is a trend.

Super facility with really nice and helpful staff. The space is chock-full of different gymnastics/tumbling/etc equipment which the instructors lay out for different classes. For the Tumblebugs classes we attended, the instructors built mini obstacle courses to get the kids comfortable with different features - usually three different segments for use.
Parking nearby is usually pretty easy, the space is clean, and the people are nice. Highly recommended.

My 7-year-old recently started at TumbleKids mid-semester. DeeDee was so helpful and accommodating in finding us the best class for her to join. My daughter was nervous going to a new place where she didnβt know anyone. But the coaches are all so friendly, fun, and welcoming. They made her feel completely comfortable and after her first class she was fully immersed and so excited to go back to each class she counts down the days. Her skills and confidence are increasing, and we are both incredibly happy to have her end up at this gym.

I am a former competitive gymnast, and now my 6 year old daughter is showing interest in the sport. Given my background, I was pretty picky about what I was looking for. We tried two other local (well known) places first, however, I was less than impressed with those, so I thought we would give Tumblekids a try. The first thing I noticed was that DeeDee (the owner) was so helpful to me when I called to ask about their offerings. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me find the right placement for my daughter. She invited my daughter to a trial class so she could evaluate her. I watched the whole class and was *really* impressed with the level of instruction I saw; without question the level of instruction was many steps above what I've seen at other gyms. I also really appreciated that they were building the girls up, while still providing corrections, rather than beating them down with what they were doing wrong. This is a breath of fresh air! I immediately signed my daughter up, and she is now so excited to be going to this new gym. If you're new to gymnastics or looking for a better experience, I highly recommend Tumblekids!

My daughter (now 11) has been a gymnast at Tumble Kids Watertown, since she was 18 months old. Coach DeeDee is amazing and we have had nothing but positive experiences with her, and with the school. I would definitely recommend this place, because they have helped make her into the amazing young woman she is and will continue to be!

My daughter has taken here for the last 5 years and had a great experience with the facility, coaches, and other gymnasts. Now my younger daughter has started beginner classes as well. Going great so far.

My daughter loved her time at TumbleKids when she was 3 years old turning 4 and the staff were very nice to her and treated us well. Hope she can go again in the future.

My family did not have a very pleasant experience with Tumble Kids of Water Town. To keep it short, Instructors used insensitive words when referring to a 6 year tumble skill. Later when my child felt discourage and unwelcome, we were met by an email calling out her behavior. We wanted Tumble Kids to at the very least acknowledge their part in the matter since words can effect young kids differently but they refused and were met by unapologetic, "apology emails" with a rude tone. As a parent this was a very disheartening to read and to furthermore explain to my child especially since before she was loved before and this sudden switch up must of stemmed from this comment. Parents please be mindful and pay attention to words that are used towards you children

My daughter has been going to TumbleKids Watertown for a few years. She started practicing two hours a week, and very quickly was in pre-team and than a team. It is very rewarding to see her progress and staying fit.

We have been at TumbleKids Watertown for about 8 years and are very happy here! Great coaching staff - DeeDee and Kelsey are super dedicated to teamwork, safety and fun. They were exceptional through covid, keeping the kids engaged virtually and worked hard to allow a safe and healthy return to the gym in-person.

My wife signed our son up for a Saturday class online. We received notification that day, that our payment was received. Two days later we got an email stating that in fact the class was filled and that he is not in the session. Nothing like telling a four year old he is going to be doing Tumble Kids with his friends and then watching him cry when we have to inform him that it's not going to happen. Thanks Tumble Kids! Was told over the phone that in fact the class was already filled 3 days before but the information was never entered into the online enrollment. Again, looking forward to explaining that to a 4 year old. Was told on the phone that their was a spot in the 9 am class. Asked if they could hold it, until I could talk to my son. Was told 'not without payment', I responded "even with your mistake" was told "Nope". Gee thanks. After receiving this 'oh well' treatment on the phone, felt the need to post this as warning. If anyone from Tumble Kids reads these reviews, my contact details are on file. Please contact, if you would like to discuss this matter further.
