I’ve tried both the stretch and barre classes at Wild Ember and was really impressed. The ambience is calm and welcoming, the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, and the facility is spotless and beautifully maintained. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of instruction and overall experience. It’s such a great place to reset, move, and feel good — definitely a gem in Arlington!

Wild Ember is the best!! I have been going for 2 1/2 years and attended 53 classes. I go because I wanted some physical activity during the week. I have used yoga to get rid of back pain twice and left leg pain once. The stretching and breathing is good for your body. I highly recommend Wild Ember. You can attend in person or online. Try it today!!💕❤️

I was nervous to go to a yoga class, since I hadn’t practiced in many years, but took a chance on going to Wild Ember a few months ago. I am so glad that I did! I now go about twice a week and really enjoy all of the classes I have tried. The instructors are so kind and helpful. The studio space is beautiful, and the classes are welcoming for people of all levels. I love that they are so actively LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Wild Ember is an absolute gem! After years of driving to a studio, I love that I get to walk to this one—it makes my practice feel even more integrated into my daily life. But whether you walk or drive, Wild Ember has that warm, welcoming neighborhood feel that makes it so special.

The variety of classes is incredible. I originally started coming to get back into the heated flow that I love, but I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed the more restorative offerings. And just when I thought I’d need a gym for weight training, I realized Wild Ember has that too!

Beyond the space and class options, what truly sets this studio apart is the teachers. Every single one brings their own unique style, knowledge, and warmth, making each class an amazing experience. And Joya, the heart behind it all, has created something really special here.

It’s just the best—a place that supports movement, strength, and restoration in the most welcoming way. So grateful to have Wild Ember in the neighborhood!

This is my first experience with yoga and I'm so glad I found Wild Ember. WE is a warm, welcoming environment. I have received a lot of much-needed instruction offered in the most helpful and supportive way. I leave each class feeling peaceful and prepared for whatever life throws my way.
PS - I just finished my 300th class at WE! Many thanks to Joya and all the teachers at WE for taking me in as a rank beginner and guiding me to this point. My strength, balance and breathing have come a long way.

I can’t say enough good things about Wild Ember Yoga Studio in Arlington. I wanted to find a gentle yoga class that would embrace all student levels. And I found that when I walked through the colorful Wild Ember doors. I started off with the Flow 2 Slow weekend class that Joya teaches, and she was so welcoming and helpful as I started to feel my way back to a regular yoga schedule. Since that first class, I have gone to classes from a variety of teachers, and they are all kind, informative, and helpful. I especially love the Slow Flow classes with Rejeni; her voice is so calming, and she has taught me so much about breath work and integrating it with my yoga flow. And every class that I take with Joya is exactly the right balance of gentle and encouraging to push me just a little bit further. Arlington is very lucky to have such an inclusive and welcoming yoga studio!

I've just completed a 2 week trial at WE and loved it. The teachers (Ginny, Joya, Tara) have been incredibly welcoming and encouraging. The classes are exactly what I was looking for: fun, welcoming, challenging yet relaxing. The yoga sweat and smile (Joya) and yoga/pilates/barre (Tara) classes are challenging and great workouts. I also loved Ginny's hot vinyasa flow Wednesday evening class (great way to cut the week in 2). The people attending the classes are also welcoming and non-judgmental - lots of different levels of fitness and different types of people. I'll be continuing with them as my trial ends now as I think they are a good fit for my fitness goals. (+ the hours work well for my schedule!) thanks for everything so far!

Absolutely love this inclusive yoga studio! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and tranquility from the wonderful owner, Joya. The space itself calming and puts you in the right mindset for practice. The instructors are all incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive, creating a welcoming environment for all levels of practitioners.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, you feel encouraged and challenged in every class. The community here is amazing—everyone is so friendly, and there's a genuine sense of connection and support among fellow students. It’s clear that this studio fosters not just physical strength but also personal growth and well-being. It truly feels like a home away from home! Thank you, Joya!

Such a warm, welcoming space! I was in Boston for a night before my flight back home and needed some yoga after a weekend wedding down in Newport. I took a class down in Newport which was meh and ego-driven, so coming to Wild Ember was like a breath of fresh air! As a student and a teacher, I love taking classes at new spots and Wild Ember is exactly what I love in yoga studios: heart-centered, inclusive, and authentic. Anytime I'm in the Boston area, this will be where I come to practice yoga. Much love <3

Wild Ember was my first experience with yoga and boy have I been spoiled. I am a monthly member and attend regular classes. Between moving to a new neighborhood , traveling, and unforeseen car troubles, I’ve recently tried numerous other studios to stick with my yoga routine when I couldn’t physically make it to WE. Unfortunately, NOBODY does it like this studio. From your first visit you’re welcomed and embraced into this community of yogis. The owner Joya greets everyone by name and every new comer is shown around and surveyed for their prior yoga experience. The classes aren’t just yoga workout sessions. The instructors carefully watch your form and offer corrections and modifications as they teach the class with attention paid especially to new comers. I have gained so much strength in my practice, largely due to their focus on teaching proper form. The studio is very inviting, not only in its decor but in the community and culture Joya has cultivated. I have found a safe space I can move my body, find connection, and feel at peace. I would recommend this studio to anyone.

I love Wild Ember yoga, and am so happy I found this studio!! Wild Ember is an inclusive studio that focuses on building a community of yogis of all abilities, all sizes, all colors, all sexual orientations, all everything - and that focus is felt in every single class. It is a place to stretch, breathe, and feel safe to be who you are. Wild Ember has a variety of classes including yinsaya flow, heated & unheated, strength & fitness, chair yoga, and classes specific for lgbtq+ and BIPOC. Every class I have taken has been challenging, accessible, and so full of joy. So happy to be a member of this amazing community.

I’m so happy to have discovered this wonderful yoga community! Joya, the founder, is incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can feel how much she genuinely cares for every person who walks through the door. All the teachers are authentic and approachable, and I’ve felt a real connection with each one. I also love the studio’s commitment to sustainability, including their awesome thrift shop. The variety of classes—from cardio sculpt, slow flow and an active vinyasa flow—offers something for everyone, no matter your level or physical needs. And also love that there are a lot of classes to choose from!!

Super inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly studio—everyone is welcome, no matter your shape, size, or background, which creates such a warm and accepting environment.
It’s all about you, your commitment- and not taking things too seriously. Where else will you be asked to lift the left, the right... and then both legs in table top position -and wait until someone starts laughing? All this while being individually caring and so supportive of your personal yoga journey.
Love this place for how it makes me feel, both physically and mentally. Highly recommend!

This yoga studio is such a special community, welcoming to all people and all skill levels! I've been going here for while now and I can't recommend it enough, it's been amazing for my physical and mental health. In addition to yoga they also have massage, I recently got one from Jordan and she was great! If you're at all considering yoga they have a great deal for a two week trial :)

I can’t say enough good things about Wild Ember. In addition to offering excellent yoga and exercise classes, Joya (the studio’s founder/owner) goes above and beyond to create an environment that is truly welcoming to everyone. Between her focus on encouraging yogis of all levels of experience and body ability, specific classes based on identity (BIPOC, LGBTQ, etc), equity based pricing, and specific workshops based on feedback from students, there is such a sense of community and belonging at Wild Ember that I keep trying to fit more and more yoga into my week. The new massage therapist (Jordan) is also amazing! I’m so grateful to have finally found my yoga ‘home.’

Amazing, inclusive yoga studio offering a variety of classes for all experience levels and a very welcoming community in a cozy, clean, relaxing environment. Each and every instructor I have encountered is very experienced, kind, and able to tailor the class to the needs of the practitioners in the room, offering options for those who may be practicing at different levels or have different needs for their bodies. They also take care to get to know you- I couldn’t believe how quickly the instructors remembered my name! Great location with easy, free street parking. Definitely recommend - even / especially if you are new to yoga or coming back to the mat after some time.

I love this yoga studio so much. I was sitting in a hospital bed last year with a recurrance of a chroic disease when I saw it posted that this studio was opening; I thought it to be kizmet. Since then I have become a member and my mental and physical health has greatly improved. Every instructor is wonderful and extremely patient and understanding with beginners (me), and those with other physical limitations or injuries. I encourage anyone and everyone, from novice to expert to give Wild Ember a try.

Best studio I've ever been to! Wild Ember has created such a warm and supportive community and Joya is just a ray of sunshine to be around. The classes have the perfect level of difficultly and room for variations, I have already noticed how much stronger I've gotten over the past few weeks. I also love the weekly "Sweat and Smile" yoga/weight combo classes, they are the perfect way to start off a Friday on a great note. I don't know what I'd do without Wild Ember!

I'm so happy that I became a member of Wild Ember Yoga Studio! Last week as I was doing a plank during yoga class I really noted how I've gotten both stronger, calmer and received a good balance. Apart from the talented instructors amazing skill in guiding and instructing as well as providing a great array of classes I've also - from day one! - sensed this genuine care for us participants and the world around us. It's fantastic how Wild Ember is able to make this beautiful atmosphere come through via zoom, and so I can only imagine how great it's going to be in person at the new studio in Arlington. I congratulate everybody, beginners as well as advanced yoga practitioners who sign up!
