I absolutely LOVE the Alloy personal training team- especially Kelsey & Ori😊
I’ve tried other personal training programs in the past and I never felt like they were a good fit for me- especially being a plus size woman in my 50s, with my bad knee limitations.
But I never felt that way at Alloy!. The team is very welcoming and customized a plan to meet my accommodations, while still challenging me. My coaches encourage me and remind me of what I can do when I get in my head about what I think I can’t do.
I appreciate the small 5-6 person training sessions because you still get the attention and 1:1 coaching that you need.
I could go on and on, but if you’re looking for a personal training gym, I’d highly recommend Alloy (Northville location) 😊

I am so happy I found Alloy. The coaches here have such a way to keep you so motivated that you will not want to miss a training class.I must confess I never enjoyed going to the gym in the past, I always quited in a matter of days until I found Alloy. Recently I went on a trip and I had no idea how much I would miss not working out. I found out that Alloy has its own platform online so you can keep up with your work out when you are overseas.

Alloy has been such a wonderful experience for me. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get stronger and who wants to just be able to live life without pain or weakness on a daily basis. The results I’ve had are phenomenal and have changed my life and outlook on fitness. I had Coach Victoria today and cannot say enough good things about her - she is extremely knowledgeable and is able to customize to anything I have going on in my body, not to mention that she is kind and my greatest cheerleader!

Love this place! Ori, Greg, Michelle, Kelsey and Vic are fantastic trainers and create an inclusive environment where women can feel really empowered and comfortable to focus on getting strong. There’s a great emphasis on holistic health and community, bringing together like minded people to champion your workouts alongside! Also, I can finally do a cartwheel after joining since June. As a long time yogi and former cheerleader, a cartwheel alluded me. Working out at Alloy in the last few months and I’m hitting new, fun goals and amazed at what my body can do.

I have had the most positive experience at this gym in all places I’ve ever worked out. Vic and Hannah and Ori are all amazing trainers. It’s clear they know that each client is an individual with how they approach and demonstrate each exercise so expertly while always offering modification if needed . Michelle is so great at her job with all scheduling and communication and keeping the whole place running. These women on staff absolutely know how to make the right choices for each individual and their willingness to be flexible and consistently checking in to ask how exercise feels for you personally is what makes it unique and tailored. I always feel listened to and respected and they make serious work so enjoyable with genuine interest and smiles and laughter. I thank everyone if then for their help and expertise.

I came upon Alloy accidentally while scrolling through Facebook and after a year of workouts there I can say there is no longer anything “accidental” about my experience. Alloy’s coaches have seamlessly and elegantly conveyed the message that there is a purpose to my workouts far beyond a certain clothing size or number on the scale. I have learned the true value of building strength, both physically and mentally, of challenging myself, and most importantly for making time for myself which has been a lifelong challenge.
For this avid runner who never thought holding still in one place to complete a squat could be rewarding, I am happy to report I’ve been proven wrong. Completing my Alloy workouts is just as exhilarating as my runs and likely better for me as I build muscle and functional movement skills I will use for the rest of my life.
Thank you to my coaches Ori, Vic, Hannah and Michelle for changing my outlook on strength training and subsequently, my life. Our health is all we have and I’m so grateful to the team at Alloy for being my partner in this lifelong wellness journey.

I just finished another great workout at Alloy with coach Ori. She pays such close attention to everyone, correcting form and giving encouragement. She modifies certain aspects of the workouts for me based on a back issue I’m experiencing. I appreciate coach Ori and all the coaches at Alloy!!!!!

10/2024 - Vick (Victoria)is a great and effective trainer. She is very thorough explaining the exercises and is very motivating.Vick is encouraging during and outside of classes. Her Instagram posts are so uplifting and motivating to me. Vick is always wanting to help and watches our form so that we won't have any pain during or after our sessions. Vick is so helpful to me on getting to where I want to be athletically.
Loving Alloy personal trainers! Very informative and encouraging! I'm very happy I decided to sign up with them.
6/2024 - I've been going to Alloy almost a year. I've seen and am feeling the results. I'm not just trying to lose weight I am trying to be healthy. Alloy helps me with working out and my nutrition. All of the coaches are so supportive and informative. They help you strive to be your best!

I am so thankful I found Alloy. #1 all the trainers are attentive and so helpful and very knowledgeable. #2 I already feel so much stronger since starting even after working out regularly at OT #3 it isn’t just strength training but also added benefits of nutrition guidance. #4 I have an old serious injury and the trainers work around that and actually have workouts to help build muscle where it has completely deteriorated. #5 the community is fun to workout with. #6 it’s perfect for my over 50 bones. Ok, I can go
on and on. Join!

I joined Alloy because it had a similar structure of another gym I used to belong to, but on a much larger scale (classes would have up to 25-30 people at times).
This is much better as it is limited to only 6. I like the focus much more on completing reps and sets vs. a timed amount at a station (the old gym).
The team here has been nothing but supportive as I my wife was hospitalized and then passed away right after I joined, and had to miss a bunch right out of the gate.
Each trainer has their own unique style to change things up so it's not mundane every time you walk through the door.
Michelle - Don't let the "niceness" fool you, she will make you work! (TBH, she's sadistically happy when other trainers are making you work hard for every rep!)
Hannah - She will use every moment of your hour to make the most of your time. Just when you think you're done at 55 minutes, she'll give you a finisher, or make you "cash out".
Hadi - Just when you've almost completed a set, he'll add a drop set to your workout pushing you hard. The best thing I like about Hadi is he's not light with the weights. If you think you can use 25 pound dumbbells, he'll give you 30s!
These are the three trainers I see the most. I've also worked out with Victoria, Ori, and Kelsey, and they are all extremely knowledgeable on getting the best out of your workout.
Alloy is a great balance workout with cardio and strength! If you feel like you need some personal guidance with your workout give this amazing place a try!

Alloy has helped me to reach my goal of working out 3x/week. The coaches are experts at differentiating the workouts to meet my needs and abilities. No workout is ever the same and it is this variety that keeps me looking forward to going to Alloy! The classmates are all so nice and we support each other. We are our best cheerleaders. It’s just such a family feel and so comfortable to be at Alloy.

Having tried seemingly all options, including physical therapy, to manage tight and weirdly spasming muscles across the whole body, I heard of this place about 10 months ago and decided to give it a try. I’ve never been keen on going to the bigger gyms for one reason or another, in particular due to lack of individual attention to one’s physical needs. This place delivers! With a maximum of 6 people in each 1h group this is large enough to get a great group workout rhythm, and small enough to never be intimidating or for the coach to lose attention on the individual. I’ll be going here for quite a while..!

I’ve really been enjoying working out at Alloy! The classes are challenging but fun and the coaches are friendly but know when to push you to do just a little more! Class sizes are super small and they take their time explaining each movement so you understand where you should be feeling it. They are also more than happy to make modifications based on what your needs are. I look forward to going to class every time and feel it is worth every penny!

I have truly enjoyed working out at Alloy in Northville. The classes are upbeat and always changing. The coaches are encouraging and you definitely get one-on-one attention throughout the class. The class size is optimal with just a few other people to create camaraderie, but not so many people that things aren't personalized. It truly is "training" vs. "group fitness"
I need some modifications for past injuries, and the three different coaches I have worked with have been very helpful!

I was in search of the right place to get back into shape. I didn't want a place that was going to be intimidating or make me do things that I wasn't ready for. I wanted a place that would work with me.
I was out of shape and coming off of a shoulder surgery, so I needed a gym that wasn't going to be a one-size-fits all kind of place.
Alloy is the perfect match for me!
I come 3 days per week, and am finishing month 2 right now. I can't believe I waited so long. The workouts are never the same, and they're fair but challenging.
My big fear with jumping back into getting into shape was needing a real plan vs just showing up to a gym without knowing what to do, and I wanted to do so without injuring myself. I realize I'm not in my 20's anymore, and didn't want an injury to set me back or get me off course.
I work with 3 coaches, Michell, Haddi, and Ori. All are excellent, and I love working with all 3. It's a good mix for me.
All of them are aware of my shoulder surgery, and I don't even have to ask for a modification of any exercise, they're already prepared with something that I'm capable of. And if something else is sore on a given day, they're all quick to give a modification to help prevent any injury from occurring.
This team is friendly, as are the other members. I look forward to showing up 3 times per week.

I joined Alloy because I have some injuries and I want to get in better physical health and do more of the activities I love. Plus to be 100% honest, I will need a knee replacement soon and the better shape I’m in for that adventure 🥴 the quicker my recovery. Plus who doesn’t want to have more muscle mass, get leaner & toner all why hitting an endorphin high by the end of a workout with others doing the same thing around you! I choose them because the coaches are aware of your goal, injuries, and potential modifications you may need. It’s an amazing community of positive clients in class with you, coaches, and a model to work with whatever goal, injury, aches and pain you may have. * A special shout out to both Hadi & Hannah my current coaches who take the time to check in and modify wherever needed 🩷 I appreciate them and all the coaches so much! Stay much expertise among all the different coaches.

I love Alloy’s concept of small group personal training. Ive used a personal trainer before where it was great but it was like a luxury car payment. The cost just wasn’t sustainable for me. I had no idea of what Alloy was until family told me about it. I love the concept of personal training in small groups. My previous personal training experience was good but it can get pricey if you go more than once a week and I felt like it was a lot of counting reps. I wasn’t sure if small groups would be as “personal” but I quickly realized it works when I can be in a session with my daughter (30s) and another person my parent’s age! I love the variety in the workouts and the coaches are wonderful. I’m loving my Alloy community!

I was so happy when I saw a friend share about joining a new personal training gym. I have always loved to lift weights but with a few health limitations I found myself not going as often as I should. I knew working with a trainer would be my best option. Alloy is the perfect fit. Small group, personal training, and a full body workout with weight lifting! As a mom of 3 and a business owner being able to show up and do the work with minimal “thought effort” on my end is a win!
