My kids have fun when there's a birthday party here, but I don't carry cash, and their vending machine is prehistoric and only takes cash, so if I want something to drink I have to abandon my kids and leave or suffer. This place needs to get with the times, vending machines take cards in the 21st century.

We go for Friday Night Flippout every other week. Kids always have a fun time and there's plenty of equipment available for activities. There's snacks available in the lobby and seating for adults. Good, cheap fun!

My kids get sick everytime after we go here! There's so many kids that come through and it's definitely not cleaned/sanitized properly if at all. Dealt with sickness four times before taking a 8 month break, went last week and they are sick again.

We love American gymnastics.
Our daughter has been going for a year now.
The coaches are wonderful!
Our daughter loves coach Sam! There’s a few Sams! They’re all great!
Special shout out to Sam from the beginner gymnastics 8 year old class!
Going to class every week is the highlight for Our daughter Avielle!
I’d also like to add that the receptionist are great. They are always happy and helpful!

My daughter loves gymnastics but not because of the place. I feel like we would get just as good of an experience anywhere. This place is nothing special. We still go here because of it's location. We love the teachers but the viewing area is a joke. There are not enough seats to watch your kid. So then people end up bringing outside chairs and those take up so much room. I end up sitting on the ground every week. Not a humongous deal but something that deters from our experience. Honestly the worst thing about American gymnastics is the front desk customer service. When they are literally ignoring you , while they continue to have a personal conversation. I just sat there and smiled the whole time. Also I have had multiple rude conversations on the phone. So overall not awful but not great. That's why the mediocre review.

We absolutely love Miss Clair and Miss Sam. Miss Sam is always moving with the 3/4 and I love that she shows them how to do things before they are expected to do them! I think all of my kids have had Miss Clair at some point and she is always so caring with the kids and makes sure the kids are using the correct form and shows the correct way. We have been extremely happy with all staff here as well always super helpful.

My daughter loves coming here! The staff are great with kids! We’ve interacted with Chris, Laura and Sam. She loves open gym. They switch up the classes to keep things interesting. I give them a lot of credit for rounding up all these toddlers and maintaining their patience!

LOVE this place!
My kids (one boy, one girl, 4 & 6 now) have gone on and off since last year & always have had an amazing time. The coaches are always super encouraging & patient. As much as I'd love to say I see the USA gymnastics team in our future....I'm not so sure it's in the cards for us lol. But that hasn't stopped anyone at the gym from supporting both my kids in having fun while learning the basics for the sport!
We only left the first time because my kids went down to Florida to stay with family during the summer for 6 weeks and more recently because we're trying to encourage whatever passions the kids may have more than gymnastics (sports, dance, etc.) but if we find they'd rather return to gymnastics after giving it a shot we'll definitely be returning here! <3

Went there last week for my birthday. It gets better each time we go. I had the Cadillac N. Y. Strip. It was perfect, along with the twice baked potato, clam chowder soup, and tasty salad. Really had a great time. My Wife tipped the piano player $5. for adding to our nice outing.

I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. All they care about is your money and have no remorse for shaming your child. My daughter was scolded and removed from a class for being to “wet” mind you when I had brought her back from using the bathroom. She was kicked out of class and not given her certificate or anything. My three old didn’t understand what she did. This place is a joke. Pulled her from this right after. Considering they teach children they should have known better! Never again.

Took my small son to a class. They didn't even say names and started on a routine that apparently kids from several classes were continuing. They rushed thru a course way too rigid for a kid who just learned to walk and when asked for help or advice they looked at me like a deer in headlights. I like open gym but the staff here sucks and really only cares about being paid and making sure you know no refunds.

American is an amazing gym. My daughter is an optional gymnast. The coaches technical skills are top notch and they know how to find the balance between competitive gymnastics and fun. Turned my burned out gymnast into a true gymnastics fan again. Now she is talking about what colleges she wants to do gymnastics at, lol. What a turnaround. Thank you American!!!!
