Horrible location. If you need help from a staff member good luck, never anyone there during staffed hours. Needed to talk to someone 2 days in a row and couldn't get anyone to talk to us.
First day nobody was there during staffed hours, I was waiting from 2:30pm-3pm. The phones would ring but nobody was there. My message was returned the second day and I was told that somebody would be in to help me, however, the one employee there was just speaking with someone else in the office. The take a tour function for their website doesn't actually call anyone to go there anyways so don't schedule one or you'll be left waiting at the door.

It’s pretty empty for the most part, which I like. The glad plugins are just awful though. They installed them a couple weeks ago and it just takes away from the workouts. We get the gym smells, that tends to happen when people sweat. Now you have two unwanted smells but one takes away from your health. Plug-ins have never been and never will be a good smell. When you are gasping for OXYGEN you don’t want most of it being carcinogenic toxins. You exhale carbon but inhale some fruity blend of chemicals? Make it make sense. Tell your members to practice proper hygiene, not make everyone else suffer.

My wife and I were interested in joining this gym and had a meeting scheduled to tour and meet with a rep in office, confirmed it through all the notifications, showed up on our own, found and signed the guest waiver, and the rep never showed. Very disappointed that we couldn't make this work. We were excited to join but when Reese didn't show we had to join somewhere else.

Pretty good anytime fitness they have two squat racks with deadlift platforms so that's pretty awesome. Have pretty much everything to get a good workout in. They could use a few more machines for back work outs.

This gym is run very poorly The equipment is not maintained. They don’t even have a functioning weight belt for squats and deadlifts. I left a note and asked the manager to replace the faulty equipment and they ignored my request. When my year commitment runs out I will be seeking another gym. There doesn’t seem to be many members so I don’t anticipate the doors being open much longer. I have also noticed a very high staff turnover.

The gym is run horribly and the turn over rate for managers is unparalleled. The owner’s name is Tony and he has been awful to deal with. I cancelled my membership in March, turned in my key card, and stopped receiving invoices from the gym only to find out today that I am still getting charged by the gym. Tony doesn’t seem to care that he is committing fraud by continuing to charge my card even though I have zero access to the gym. The equipment is also not taken care of on top of dealing with this awful management.

So after having multiple hip surgeries and only being able to actually use the gym for a week, You are telling me I cannot cancel my membership unless I give you $500? I don't think so. On top of the $100 down, $30 per month fee of not being able to use the gym, oh, yeah, don't forget the ridiculous $75 cleaning fee charge they just rang up on my bill. Don't bother with this gym!

I haven't seen the personal trainer or gotten a call to set up anything for over 2 months and yet they wont let me cancel my membership.
They're awful, the place smells gross, don't trust them or put your money into it.

I workout with my trainer Stephanie 3 days a week for an hour each day....she is the best😁 It's been said you can't teach an old dog new tricks....don't believe it...I've never felt better. Anytime Fitness on Gratiot and 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield is a great place to workout and meet new people😊🏋️‍♀️

Over half the TVs on the cardio equipment don't work, the treadmills squeak, most of the rubber dumbbells are all chewed up / missing weight caps, the benches are difficult to adjust since they never get oiled...The list goes on and on. It's a complete dump. Sucks I can't even cancel because I was swindled into a 30 month contract despite being led to believe it was month-to-month.

I inquired a few months ago about a membership, and when I asked about pricing the owner wouldn't tell me the cost and tried to pressure me into touring the gym so he could "get to know me first." I declined and said I was no longer interested because he wouldn't provide a simple answer over the phone. Since then, I've gotten a call at least once a week asking if I'm interested and they won't take me off their call list. Today it was the owner again and when I told him to stop calling me he got rude and hung up while I was talking. If you can't apologize for not taking me off the list after 6 calls, why would I want to come to your gym??

At one point this was one of the best gyms in the area. Once it changed ownership that went down hill fast. They quickly laid off, pushed out or fired all of the helpful staff that had been there for years. Only to replace them with what i would call gym Bros. I've witnessed the staff on multiple occasions flex at potential members and insist that you could "look like this". The staff works out and shouts across their own facility and gatherers crowds of their own friends and other staff members to watch them work out. they sit on the machines and get irritated when you ask them if you can actually work out on the machines they are sitting on. when i tried to cancel the joke of a manager tried to get me to sign another contract and neglected to mention the new $75 enhancement fee. he said i could freeze my account if i ever were to change my mind and no money would ever come out. He then told me he had no power to actually do that and he needed to ask the owner. who in his own words is "never really here" he wrote a note on his desk on a ripped piece of paper and what do you know, the account was never frozen. money came out a week and a half later. i called and asked to talk to the owner. have him call me. and he said he would, he said he wrote another note. and low and behold no phone call. This place is a joke now. the owner should be ashamed of his employees and reconsider the age and skill of his managers.

I have been a member at anytime for like three years. Originally started in Cadillac Michigan. This location however since changing ownership has become absolutely terrible. I was just going through my contract, and apparently I'm signed up for three years instead of one. This location also does a 75 dollar annual enhancement fee. I am cancelling immediately regardless of the reprocussions, because quite frankly I was forced into signing when I wanted to leave at the end of my last contract, and the manager didn't go over these new changes with me. Shame on me for not reading the fine print, but being I filled one out once before. I thought it was the same.

I went in to talk to a manager about joining and right away I felt very pressured to sign. He also lied to me when I asked if there was a free trial. There is a 7 day trial, yet he said no He pretty much was shoving the paper in my face even though I said I do not want to sign today. I ended up signing. After going home and realizing I was getting ripped off by the rates, I went back the next day to cancel (on the back it says you have 3 days to cancel with a full refund). They said ok and said my 20 dolllars I initially gave them would be back in my account in a few days. Welll about 2 weeks later I check my account and not only did I not get the $20 back they actually charged me $115 extra. I called them right away and they said they "forgot" to cancel my membership. I was told by the manager that he would call me back the same day to let me know what happened, and surprise surprise, no call back. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I feel robbed. They took money they had no right to take. And I have yet to get it back.

I have been going to this gym since the beginning of January and I LOVE it! The staff is all very friendly, and willing to answer any questions that you have. The facility is well kept and clean. The bathrooms always have toilet paper and the sanitizing wipes are always filled. Not only is the staff and building nice, but the members are all awesome too. Everyone is nice and gets along very well. I even made a few friends within the first few weeks of working out here. Its a fantastic environment to be in and just an all around great place.

I definitely recommend this location!! The facility is very clean with state of the art equipment and everything you can imagine to assist you in becoming and staying your physical best. The wait time to use any of the equipment is next to nil. The staff are wonderful!! They are truly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their enthusiasm towards becoming physically fit and healthy is contagious;).

As far as 24 hour gyms go, this place is top notch. My work schedule doesn't allow me to always work out during the day, so a 24 hour gym is a must. Anytime Fitness has a large, clean, free weight area, as well as all the cardio equipment you would ever need. There is an aerobics room with free/paid classes that are available to all members, and the staff is there to help with any questions that you might have. The price is competitive with other, less satisfactory gyms, in the area. This place is a must if your looking for a new gym, and is the only one to consider if your looking for 24 hour fitness center.
