I worked out at Body By Choice for over two years. It was a fantastic experience training with Roy. He was able to get me pain free after a long bout of Sciatica. Roy was super knowledgeable and was able to work my bodies limitations. If I was unable to do a certain exercise he would come up with variations that would work for me.

Additionally, their stretch therapy was also amazing. I worked with Scott for those sessions and they helped keep my body limber.

The staff at BBCT are committed to seeing your body function improve. I would also highly recommend working with Tiffny to set some goals, it helps keep you focused.

As a “senior citizen” I was troubled with various signs of aging including lethargy, weight gain, dangerous falls and lower back pain when walking or doing chores. Cheston at Body by Choice has reversed all these symptoms and has given me a new lease on life. I was never comfortable in a gym environment and had no idea what I should do. I’ve been working with trainer, Dylan Blazon since July of last year. He’s been instrumental in helping me manage injury and training fatigue, increase muscle mass, and help me gain confidence lifting in the gym. I decided to train for my first 70.3 (half distance) triathlon this year and Dylan’s support and programming were instrumental in helping me cross the finish line. He built intentional workouts targeting muscle groups I most needed to get me through such a long multi sport event. Working with Dylan at BBC is never a one size fits all approach; he’s constantly adapting programming to meet you where you are and help move you towards reaching your goals. The results I’ve seen speak for themselves. Dylan is who trains me and he has been wonderful! It was a struggle getting my muscles to turn on again which was discouraging. Dylan identified this immediately and would have me do alternative things to get them to work so I could regain strength and muscle tone. It’s easy to hear “if it hurts you’re doing it wrong” but sometimes you’re doing it right, it’s your body that’s responding wrong. I have learned a lot through Dylan. Having an educated and patient trainer is key!

I've had such an amazing experience here. My trainer, Heather, is the best! She completely understands my goals and even helped me fix some things I didn't know could be fixed (looking at you ankles). The entire staff is so friendly and so knowledgeable. The environment is very welcoming no matter what stage you are at on your fitness journey. I used to have to drag myself to the gym, but now it's the highlight of my week! Nick makes sure to pair you with the trainer that will best fit with your personality and goals as well. It's the best investment I've made since moving here last year!

Since I have been working with Dylan and Scott after Heather transitioned to a different career, I wanted to highlight how wonderful these guys have been as my trainers. Scott is excellent at making me feel comfortable and empowered in my own strength. I know he'll make sure I'm doing everything with correct form and he is great at explaining exercises. I definitely always leave with a smile, a sense of accomplishment, and the anticipation of some sore muscles after our sessions. Dylan is great at making sure the science behind the exercise is in line with my goals. He makes sure that I don't hurt myself (which I've been guilty of in the past) by working in my weaker areas in ways I don't even notice. He and Scott are both great at collaborating with me to keep workouts fun but still very effective. The gym has become my happy place, and I continue to look forward to my sessions each week.

I joined Body By Choice Training in November 2019, having reach a point where I was fed up with many failed attempts to find an exercise routine that I would stick with. I had never tried personal training, but after the first few sessions, I was hooked! I signed up for a 3 times a week program and have never looked back. I train with Rachael and she has done a wonderful job helping me obtain my goals. Recently, she helped me resolve a nagging shoulder impingement, coordinating my exercises with recommendations from a physical therapist. Since joining BBTC, I am stronger, leaner, and 15 pounds lighter -- and I am so happy with myself! Plus, with guidance from Tiffny, I have changed my eating habits with great results. Working out with a BBCT trainer is so much more efficient and yields great results because they know what you are capable of achieving and have a plan to get you there. My trainer, Nathan H. has been excellent. I came in to this gym knowing absolutely nothing about exercising and fitness, but Nathan’s extensive knowledge and very clear methods of training have helped me grow in to a confident gym-goer. Throughout my time at Body by Choice Nathan has always been very encouraging and pushes me to excel during every training session.
All members also have 1-on-1 discussions on a regular basis with Tiffny, the nutritionist expert. She gave me very clear, achievable goals each meeting to accomplish before our next meeting. These small improvements eventually led to a huge change overall. I think anyone who listens to Tiffny’s advice and implements all of her suggestions will be well on their way to quickly achieving any fitness goal. She is also very knowledgeable and is always willing to answer any questions clients have.
The gym itself is exceptionally well taken care of; it is always clean, and instead of lockers there are private bathrooms for each client to use if they wish. It is rarely crowded, especially in the evenings and Saturday mornings when I go, which is very nice to never wait in line to use equipment. All of the staff and customers also are all very friendly which create a very pleasant atmosphere – I think anyone could be comfortable here as long as they are willing to take that first step in committing to becoming a healthier person.
I think anyone who has a clear goal for themselves and is willing to put in time to achieve that goal, and is also open to implementing suggestions from BBCT’s experts will find they make visible progress very quickly.

I highly recommend Body by Choice Training. I joined about 7 months ago and it truly has been the best investment in myself that I’ve ever made! Nathan H. is awesome and really knows his stuff! Nathan is very intentional, knowledgeable, and supportive, but still challenges you to be your best. I’ve noticed a ton of improvement in my strength and flexibility after working with Nathan. I've had a hip replacement and arthritis issues in the past, but since beginning training with Nathan, my joint pain is essentially gone.
Tiffny is also an amazing resource. She provides very realistic and doable tips to help you meet your goals. Meeting with Tiffny on a monthly basis has definitely helped to improve my overall nutrition.
The entire team at BBCT is top-notch and they maintain a very supportive, friendly, and non-judgmental environment!

I worked with Roy for a little over a year and I’m not exaggerating when I say he and this gym gave me the tools to change my life. I struggled with chronic sciatic pain for years. Now my pain is infrequent and quickly remedied. I also have a PCOS diagnosis. I was empowered through the process and it changed my relationship with my body. Prior to BBC, I did NOT feel comfortable in a gym of any type and working out was anxiety inducing because I didn’t know what I was doing. Additionally, I had been raised in a deprivation/restrictive environment when it came to what fitness looked like. Roy was very intentional about making sure I was comfortable, informed and more often than not laughing through the pain (for real, Roy does not play around but at least he’s nice about it). While this may not be important to everyone, but as someone who has struggled with an ED, it was healing for me that not once did anyone ever say I needed to make myself smaller or that I should be restricting my calories. Everyone at the gym is incredibly kind and I highly recommend their services.

I love Body by Choice! My trainer, Heather, has been awesome. With the program they set up for me, I work out two days a week on my own, and one day a week with Heather. It’s great for my schedule and budget. The exercise app is so easy to use, and there are videos linked with each exercise so I know what to do and the proper form.

Heather had been so encouraging and helpful in my fitness journey. She knows how to safely push my rep and weight limit boundaries so that I continue making gains!! This place has been great for not only my physical health, but my mental health too. I have a new group of girl friends now who are always supporting and encouraging one another. I have worked with Gina Huizingh at Body by Choice training for several years. During that time I lost approximately 100 pounds added muscle and recovered from three surgeries. It has been quite the journey.Gina is a unique combination of physical training expertise and having an innate knowledge of how to address particular problems. For example, after I tore my Achilles tendon and was going through a very long and painful recovery after surgery, she laid out a detailed plan to work through a number of phases to get the strength back without any setbacks. She has a plan for each workout and she notices every little thing. She is well liked by everyone that she works with, and I feel fortunate to be able to work with her

I started training at BBC in January and have actually stuck with it for almost a year! I joined because I wanted a change but had no idea where to start and how to use the machine. I also know that I need more than self-motivation. This gym is totally non-judgmental--just a group of clients all trying to achieve their personal goals with their trainers. I'm so glad that I was assigned Heather as my trainer. She is very adaptable and responsive to my requests, my goals, my favorite (and least favorite) exercise types. I look forward to training with her every week and catching up.
BBC also provides wellness coaching, and Tiff is very encouraging and helps define your goals with manageable strategies.
My only wish was that they would be open one or two hours longer on the Saturday for appointments.

5 months in and loving it. I joined the gym after having back surgery and 2 months of physical therapy. I realized I needed more help than physical therapy could provide. Nick and his trainers made a program around making me stronger where I needed it most. My first 3 months were 2 days a week, I am now training 3 days a week. Body by Choice is the best investment I have ever made in myself!

I have exercised my entire adult life – group fitness classes and cardio machines -- and managed to stay in decent shape. But at 60 I decided it was time for this old dog to learn new tricks if I wanted to remain active and travel in my retirement. I knew needed to get STRONG, and that meant tackling those scary free weight and intimidating weight machines. A health care professional whom I trust recommended Body by Choice and he did not steer me wrong.

The group truly cares about the unique and individual needs of every client and works to help you reach your goals by creating a personalized plan and giving you helpful tips and tools.

I am loving the results! I am getting stronger and have a confidence with weightlifting that I never imagined I would possess. My children who used to describe me as “fragile” are shocked when I tell them how much weight I am lifting, and my adult son, who began lifting weights as a high school athlete, is amazed at my proper form.

I thought weightlifting would be like bitter medicine, a drudgery that I would suffer through as a means to an end. Instead, I was shocked to discover that I LOVE weightlifting and it is something I look forward to doing and honestly wish I started doing decades ago.

I believe this life changing transformation was only made possible by Nick and his incredible Body by Choice team. I can’t say enough great things about Heather my trainer. She really listens to her clients and knows what motivates each person, no cookie cutter approaches here. I also learned a great deal from Tiffny. My whole life I thought about my diet in terms of what I needed to eliminate to remain healthy, she taught me to also think about what I needed to add to my diet to reach my goals.

The entire crew at Body by Choice has a wealth of knowledge that they are excited to share with their clients in a non-judgmental environment.

My only regret is that I didn’t discover Body by Choice earlier, but I am so very grateful that I am working with them now.

I'm a fairly active, early 40's finding it challenging to loose weight so my Doctor recommended weight training. So I did what most of us do, I googled it. Thankfully I found Body by Choice. Nick ,the owner, met with me for a tour and right from the start I felt very comfortable, he explained the approach and seemed very sincere about helping folks out. I decided that personal training was the way I need to go and have been working with Lisa. She has been fantastic! I really appreciate the motivation and accountability that she provides. She takes a very personal approach walking me through the routine she creates and helps every step of the way. The nutrionist Tiffny worked with me as well to come up with unique goals that will help with my food challenges. I'm about 1/2 way through the program and I feel stronger, using muscles I didn't even know I had and have lost a few pounds as well. They challenge me in the best ways possible and always know how to keep it interesting, with a progressive program that changes every three weeks to target different areas of the body. When training at other gyms before, I usually see just one person. BBCT provides everything you need to focus on your health and wellness, even beyond the gym. Every month, I see Tiffny, who helps with goal-setting and shares resources and tips to help achieve them. Because this is such a personal (and sometimes private) experience, she's offered a safe place to share my challenges and aspirations. I've also worked with Kolby, as a massage therapist, to help condition and prepare my body for the first 5K I've done in a very long time. In what could otherwise be an intimidating environment, everyone at BBCT -- both staff and fellow members -- has been welcoming and supportive (even those I don't work with wave and say hello to me by name).

I found the gym by chance, so I viewed this as my time to take care of myself. I personally like it because it is one-on-one training, small and not crowded. Nathan designs my training regimen around my injuries and walks me through every exercise to make sure I develop perfect form. Would highly recommend joint training sessions as a fun date activity. AnnaMarie clearly knows her stuff. It was really fun working with her because she could so easily see how to improve your technique. I cannot tell you how many times she said "why don't you try doing it like this," and then I would try it and it would be way better! She also does a lot of positive feedback but also knows when to push you when you need that. It is a really fun experience and I felt stronger and healthier by the end of it.

He tailored my program to fit my goals while also helping me recover from meniscus surgery and rebuild strength in my knee. This place has a nice private atmosphere which is perfect for someone like me who is still early on in their fitness journey. I never feel self conscious or judged by anyone which can be a big fear for a newbie.

I work with Stephanie and she is AWESOME!! If you can laugh with someone at 6am while you're pushing through a tough workout then they're doing something right! If there's something that she introduces that needs to modified, she can show you different ways to do it which is great. She's good at giving you the "why" behind what we're doing.

I also enjoy the check-ins with Tiffny - she has a ton of knowledge on how your body is processing not only the food we consume but also products we interact with daily.

I am definitely loyal to BBCT now and in the future. Honestly it's not even near where I live and work and it's so worth it to drive out there. I could not have started this fitness journey without them.

After three back surgeries and an ACL tear, I was skeptical that anyone would be able to help me learn how to safely gain the strength I needed to reduce my chances of reinjury. All of the plans are customized for you and your goals. They show you how to do things safely and very effectively. All of their trainers are extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. Their combination of professionalism, knowledge and kindness sets them apart from other gyms. Not only do they help you out with training but they also have a nutritionist who helps you with choosing better and healthier meals. If you have any questions about shakes or supplements they are more than happy to help you, however they never once pressured me into buying them.

Just going to the sessions twice a week with a trainer and eating healthier, they helped me lose 20 pounds in 12 weeks! All while gaining muscle and feeling stronger every week.

It is on the pricier side, but they have different plans that you can ask about and surely afford. Ultimately, you’re not only investing your money into the company, but into yourself and they will guide you every step of the way to help you meet your goals.

2 years ago I came upon major back issues. After going to multiple chiropractors and getting X-rays I Discovered I had a twisted pelvis and a pelvic tilt. After talking to nick on the golf course he said come in and I can help with this. I pushed it off and continued to go to the chiropractor with ok results. Finally, after not improving and having a new born baby to carry around I decided to go visit BBC. Nick surprised me with his knowledge right off the bat. How if certain muscles are not working and such it would continue to cause issue. He than introduced me to kolby. I immediately enjoyed working with him and he knew that I needed major help. We started the stability program and with 2-3 weeks of going I could tell my leg muscles where starting to activate and the back pain became less. Kolby was considerate and always asking how my back felt during certain excersises as well as pushed me harder than I would if I was just going to the gym myself. He was awesome to work with. Fast forward to last week which was my last class I can say that working with kolby and at BBC has done so much more that just going to the chiropractor or physical therapist( tried that as well). I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend anyone who has a bad back to go and see them as soon as you can. I will most likely be going back because it is so worth it!

Like many, I stumbled upon Body by Choice doing a web search for gyms in GR. I contacted Nick and staff and trained with them while I was in town. Couldn't be happier with the choice. Great equipment, knowledgeable staff and a friendly atmosphere made it a pleasure to train there. From assessment to training and stretching, they give you a well rounded experience at the gym. As someone that travels for work and has to find good gyms in a strange city, this is a gem of a find. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won't regret it.

Nick Klein and his crew are great. They are all about the client and strive to help you with your fitness goals. They are educators about strength training, nutrition and supplements. My wife and I have achieved great results with Annamarie, Tif and Nick by our sides. I'm currently using the online app with personalized, tailored workouts from Nick as a cheaper option that I can use at my company's fitness facility.

This place is amazing! I have had 2 back surgeries and was on track for a 3rd when I found Body by Choice. I thought I would give it a try as a last resort, and have never felt better. Not only is my back feeling stronger, I am also on track to get back to what I felt like in my 20's. My trainer Kolby keeps me focused and pushing forward, but also makes it fun, and Nick has guided me to a diet that has had amazing results. These guys are the real deal.

I travel for work about 30 weeks out of the year, so I am always looking for day passes at quality gyms. This place delivered and then some. The rate was slightly cheaper if I bought two or more day passes at once, so I went in on Friday mid-afternoon and Monday morning. I used one of their three power/squat racks, a chin up bar, an incline bench and one of their two Prowler sleds. They also had strongman equipment, specialty bars, ropes, chains, bands, etc. Everything was clean and organized. The trainers were friendly and ready to help if necessary.

I came to Body by Choice late November of 2016 and I couldn't be happier. I'm 27 years old and had zero experience with weight lifting and no idea how to begin. AnnaMarie was excellent in my first appointment where she helped me select a trainer and workout program that fit my schedule and budget. I can't say enough about my personal trainer Kolby Semrow, he's the best! Top it all off with an excellent owner in Nick and you have the best gym in the city.

Body By Choice is my fountain of youth! After training with Nick for 4 months I've lost 14 pounds, reduced body fat from 29% to 22% and my nagging knee pain is gone! With numerous certifications and years of experience in training and nutrition Nick's sessions are the total package. Nick tailored my workouts to accommodate my knee injury. As my knee strengthened, Nick introduced more challenging exercises to transform the rest of my body. Now that my body is getting stronger Nick is always mixing things up, never giving me or my body a chance to get bored. Every session is unique, appropriately challenging, and surprisingly enjoyable. Although I'm committed and self motivated, I couldn't have come this far without Nick. He clearly took me to a new fitness level. I joined BBC in January to "supplement" my triathlon training regime. My surprise was that Nick looked at this as a more holistic relationship and tailored a training program that included the strength and cardio development that one would expect, coupled with my previously self directed fitness development ( swimming, biking, running ). So, he and my direct trainer, Kolby ( excellent btw! ), meshed these two development efforts to make sure they worked together to get the results for my personal goals. They also are extremely helpful with nutrition, although I am more self directed in this regard.
My season starts this week with my first event and I am more confident and feeling stronger than ever before.
My advice to someone starting with BBC is to trust them and listen to them and you'll see/ feel results. ( I hated squats before BBC, and it was because I wasn't doing them correctly. )
These are people with extensive background on physical movement and development and nutrition.
And Kolby is amazing. Knows his stuff and makes the workouts "fun".

I recently did a biosignature modulation/nutritional consulting with Nick. What a wonderful journey that was for me. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, and really helped me get on track.
