British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside Hamburg Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Ava, our swim instructor is amazing — she is so patient and encouraging with my 11 year old! She makes learning to swim fun and therefore my son looks forward to every lesson. Highly recommend!

Ashley is awesome! My youngest has been learning to swim for a couple months, but after switching to her class, he was swimming on his own in just 8 minutes. I was so shocked I didn’t even grab a video, ha! Definitely recommend her.

I can say only good things about the British Swim School. I am an adult who never learned to properly swim so here I am at 65! They have been so patient with me and I am having fun too! They are truly helping me rid myself of my fear of water. I highly recommend the program for young and old.
