British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside LA Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

I have lived 68 years afraid of the water, so I decided to sign up for adult swim class and I found British swim school at my local LA fitness. The people there are super sweet and very patient and understanding of my fear and have been giving me half hour lessons designed specifically around my fear. It has only taken four weeks to convince me that the next time I go into a pool with my family I will have more fun than I ever dreamed possible.

The Manager Micah is great ambassador for the program. Very professional, informative, and transparent with the policies.
The two instructors we've worked with, Haley and Sara, are very competent, very caring and truly have Hearts of Gold! GOD BLESS THEM!

Have had such a great experience here with an amazing staff, who are patient, encouraging and kind. My son was very afraid of the water and they helped him overcome his fear. He looks forward to class every week and has become such a great swimmer! The owner is very accommodating for scheduling and involved every step of the way with each students success. Would highly recommend this swim school!

I love how simple it is to reschedule makeup classes on their app. The staff is friendly and does an excellent job working with kids. The smaller class size also allows my daughter to receive more one-on-one instruction.

British swim school was exactly what my daughter needed to get her confidence back! She learned so many new strokes and techniques and really advanced in every way! I highly recommend this swim school. The kids are actually in the water and swimming most of class- very different than the one we went to prior. Additionally, the owner Lea and her husband are great! Super accommodating and thoughtful. Highly recommend!

I had today my first class with my 3 months old baby.. We met the teacher , mrs. Lin, what a sweetheart. The water extremely clean, the place is great and Lea is an angel, she s always there to help you with anything. she s the owner but she s there the entire time to help with whatever we need . I loved it !

I would recommend British Swim School to anyone looking to get their children into swim. They have been so patient with my daughter who was new to the pool and having a hard time adjusting. Both my girls have excelled over the last few months and love coming to lessons every week.

I have two children who attend British Swim School here and I am beyond happy with the program, the staff, and the progress my children have made in such a short period of time. I have tried other swim programs and they were always the same…so many kids in one class with one very overwhelmed teacher. My kids would spend 90% of their time out of the water just waiting for their turn. At British Swim School the class sizes are small so the instructors can place their complete focus on each child and they have an abundance of time in the water. You can tell the instructors love their job and my kids feel that. They truly enjoy class time and as a worried mom with a pool and pond, my mind is more at ease knowing they are in the best hands with the best swim school.

“Courtesy and professional atmosphere. Welcomed with kindness. They provide flexible class schedules. They provide a much-needed service to an underserved community of adult learners. They provide individualized swimming lessons for each skill level. They are very reasonably priced. Through their teaching I now feel more comfortable in the water and confident in my skills.
