Solid studio, lots of variety to choose from.

They’re also quite flexible with last minute bookings, and have a variety of different room sizes to book if you want something to fit your budget.

I’ve gone to some group classes and booked studio time for practice.

The Swing dancing in the area seems to gravitate to this studio too.

Have been going to Cen4Pal for a few years now and I love the environment and the staff! Everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful! My dance knowledge has expanded from their classes and they highly encourage curiosity and enthusiasm to learn. There is a wide spectrum of interests to learn here and a large pool of experienced educators to learn from. Great place!

I’ve had the pleasure of going here for almost 3 years now. While I mostly do swing dancing here; which I do recommend as it’s a blast! I’ve also taken Hindi classes here for over a year. The instructor was superb and super knowledgeable on the cultural significance of Hindi throughout the world. The entire program was very approachable and a great learning environment.

I definitely recommend coming and seeing everything they have to offer!

Visited on 8/19/25 for swing dancing, and safe to say I will NEVER return.

My two friends and I walked in, and first of all, the advertising was completely misleading. If we had known it would be all advanced moves, we never would have come. What made it worse was that about half the class was also new, and the instructors couldn’t read the room to realize nobody felt comfortable doing the moves.

Within the first 3 minutes, one of the staff (Damion) asked my friend to dance. Fine—until he put his full weight on her, which caused her to completely fall to the ground. She ended up bruising her forearms from the fall and was in noticeable pain. That was our first impression of this place, and it felt unsafe and careless.

After that, we decided we were done. We sat down only because our third friend was putting on her shoes so we could all leave together. While we were waiting, a blonde/red-haired man came up and asked if we had paid. I explained we were heading out and hadn’t really participated, but he insisted that both me and my other friend still needed to pay for the lesson. To avoid further arguing, I went ahead and paid for the two of us. He said $10 per person, but since I didn’t have cash or Venmo, I used my card—and somehow the total came to $22. Not sure where the extra $2 came from, but it felt shady.

As we were walking out, even other people who were leaving at the same time made comments about how unprofessional the situation was handled. That said a lot—it wasn’t just us who noticed how poorly this place was run.

Between the false advertising, unsafe dancing environment, and unprofessional handling of payment, I will never return and do not recommend this place. STAY AWAY.

Such a professional and friendly location! We had a semi-private aerial arts class & the owner was so kind & knowledgeable, as was the teacher the kids had. The kids can't wait to come back! I'd highly recommend this place over other local aerial arts places. My husband and I felt so much safer here. Thanks again!

Whether you're looking at renting a space for a short or long time, or if you're looking for a new class to enroll in, this should be your first stop! I've been a renter at CPAL since 2017, and I use the space to teach Bharathanatyam. I highly appreciate the efficiency of the facilty. Cpal is a great space, with large and small rooms with walled mirrors to suit my needs , and with all the technology ( music system, speakers)and wifi that I need to conduct my classes, completely hassle free. The rooms are always clean, bathrooms are easily accessible and the staff is friendly! If I've had any concerns or issues, the staff is very responsive and hands on.
Cpal is also a hub for many other short and long term classes like ballet, tap, Kathak, Bollywood , yoga, art, music and Hindi lessons. There's even a separate space for aerial yoga with all the safety precautions.

My partner and I host a West Coast Swing event here and have had the pleasure of working with the owner of this space, who is amazing and has been instrumental in the continued success of our event here! All of the staff have been extremely welcoming and supportive to the dancers attending and to our support staff who help run our event, and the space is exactly what we were looking for! I highly recommend getting involved in one or more of the many creative opportunities the center hosts and if you're looking for a place to start your dance journey I can't recommend them enough!

Been here a few times and everytime it's been a bad experience. Tried to go to the owner with concerns and was absolutely ignored. One of the employees has been making their students uncomfortable and those said students were coming to me with their concerns and I contacted the owner and she did absolutely nothing. I go here for Ballroom Dancing (mostly Modern Swing Dancing), Aerial Silks, Acro Yoga and other circus apparatus such as pole, cube and Lyra. It really is an incredible studio run by some amazing people. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and friendly, the classes affordable and the variety of things to do incredible. Coming here is the highlight of my week and my only regret is not bringing more friends to learn with!

The best part of Cen 4 Pal is its astonishing diversity and range of offered classes. We have tried taking Art, German, theater, and aerial silks. The director is very personable and helpful. Some of the teachers are better at teaching than others, but they are all definitely kind people trying their best.

This place is amazing. I attended an aerial class with Katie and it exceeded my expectations. The studio was so clean and the rigging was excellent. I always worried about how new to me studios set up their aerial apparatus. I can confirm I felt safe here. I cannot wait to take another class here. There is only one regret. I live in Ann Arbor so it is a bit of a hike for me to get here. Otherwise I probably would be here every day, multiple times a day. They offer so many classes that I currently take or want to take. I like the convenience of having it all in one place.

Best performing arts center around, by far! Great place for people to express themselves in a non judgemental environment, this is rare, I can't say the same about other places near by. They have dance, singing, music, and more. Such a loving and safe environment. As a former certified dance teacher, I highly recommend this studio to any parent looking for a place for their child to thrive in their dance education. Cannot say enough about this place.
