Very upset with my experience here. Not only can’t cancel membership but also if I have to freeze it I have to pay… obviously I don’t have the money to pay for the month so why charge me to pause it.

Community is friendly, but gym is a bit over priced for the equipment. If you come on rainy days you’ll see a bucket in almost every room for leaks. Or you will get dripped on. But the turf room is nice and the gym is never over crowded

Great gym. I have been going to Clare Family Fitness for many years now. I have had many ups and downs on my fitness journey and even at my heaviest I never felt judged only encouragement! Even when I discussed becoming a personal trainer the employees didn't see it as I was taking clients away from them they encouraged and helped me become a trainer! It is such a friendly atmosphere.

On a health journey trying to lose weight and it's hard enough being a big person working out trying to get healthy and you literally have people being fatphobic to you one of the ladies who works there's husband thought it would be cute to bash me so I'd feel pressured into using her as a trainer also my sister witnessed this and decided to stop using your facility because she was disgusted. This gym is not fluffy friendly and they will literally make you keep paying for membership you aren't even using like I'm so uncomfortable I literally refuse to go in there except for using the pool and now the pool has added expenses so they are literally just taking my money for a membership I'm not using.

Overall, I will say that my experience was great. It was nice to finally get to come work out in this gym. I visit family in the area, and I'm always looking for a gym to work out in. Last year, I didn't have time to scope it out. This year, I did. It was nice to get in some great workouts while up for Thanksgiving. I will say the temporary membership was kind of high. 10 visits for $60. I will say I did like the fact that the wonderful lady who helped me out did say if you come back again in the same day you can get that visit back so it doesn't take away for the 10 visits. I believe she said that it's $50 without 24-hour access, but it's $60 for it. So I ended up getting the $60 one.

Now besides the higher visitor price, this gym has a lot of equipment. They even had some old machines that I miss from other gyms I've visited throughout the US and overseas for business trips.

If I ever move up to this area or spend a long time up there, this would be my gym. I wish this gym was down where I lived. I would highly recommend your gym needs.

My only complaint is this gym has a lot of kids in it. Not sure if that's normal or because of the holiday break. But a lot of the kids lingered on the equipment and took forever. Also the shower area is very small. I forgot to get a picture. But if you have more than two people in the bathroom you will walk all over each other.

I’ve been to a few gyms but this specific gym tops them all !! I don’t feel insecure about my fitness goals I go in there feeling confident !! It’s Family friendly staff are really nice and Mercedes goes the extra mile to welcome everyone and she has seriously helped so much with my son Brantley and he can be a stinker lol ! Anyways if you’re thinking about a membership here, just do it !!

CFF is everything it says it is. The facility has everything you need for working out. There is a main room with free weights, machines and more. There is a rack room and the turf room for a little privacy. There is also a sauna you can utilize for work outs. The environment is family friendly with certified trainers available for any questions you may have. I highly recommend CFF for first timers and gym rats.

I moved to Harrison 3 years ago after, open heart surgery and shoulder replacements..I..every winter I would get up to 310 pounds from lack of anything to do..i found it difficult to not get short of breath just going to my mail box by spring. In December I saw on my health insurance about silver sneakers...it directed me to CFF ...3 months later I'm down 6 pants sizes and I feel the best I have pre surgery..I am so thankful for CFF and there wonderful facility and staff...I told my daughter I believe they have saved my life and I'm really looking forward to This Summer...thank you CFF..

Lots of options for workout machines and free weights. A bit expensive though for a membership. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and mostof the gym goers are as well. Small locker rooms are a bit crowded if there is more than 2-3 people in them, and not much privacy is afforded if you don't like to change in front of other people. It is always a clean place though, and they offer plenty of additional classes as well. My main complaint is that classes aren't included with your regular gym membership outside of an allotted three that you get for signing a year long contract. The contract does have a $50 cancellation fee as well.

I really like this place, I have spent a lot of time here and I can say that although they might not have all of the equipment your looking for I, in the past 3 years, have never found a workout I couldn't do. This place has very nice employees and very nice members.
