7/17/25 Update!!!! After my initial review, Cutting Edge reached out immediately to hear my concerns and put in place an action plan to ensure my concerns were heard and addressed! Yesterday practice went amazing! I was intentionally hesitant because the front desk said they would ensure my daughter was placed with older coaches but I gave it a chance and all three coaches were awesome! One of the coaches was one of the two I had a concern with last week but was truly hands on, pushed my daughter, supported her and praised her so that she accomplished a lot of moves she’s never done before! It was fantastic!! I’m thankful they heard my concerns and were so supportive towards my daughter! She left feeling invincible and excited for this new chapter!! If this energy continues I will definitely be giving Cutting Edge a 5 star in the new future!

7/10/25 Our first session was a trial appointment and it went great! The coaches were supportive, hands on and helpful which we loved. My daughter left extremely impressed and excited for gymnastics. Today was our second session and it was completely different experience. The gym switches out coaches and the younger coaches weren’t supportive or helpful. My daughter was constantly asking questions, looking around for support but still determined to figure it out. I mentioned my observations to a head coach who was helpful last time she talked with the younger coaches but minimal changed. They were talking to each other, looked at their phones and just told the students what to do without much support. My daughter really wants to do gymnastics so we’re attempting to be patient to see if things get better overall while looking around just in case. The older coaches are good but the younger coaches or trainees need more training. We will continue to try for this month and update the post if anything changes. I gave it 3 stars because the older coaches were nice and the front desk staff were welcoming but if I was just rating the coaches of today it would be a lower rating.

My kids love coming here! My son is obsessed with the ninja class, so much so that my daughter wants to do it now too. We especially love coming to the gym jam on the weekends and getting our energy out at the open play time! Daughter is going to try out the gymnastics for the summer time.

Cutting Edge is our new family! We have been coming here for a little over an year and my daughter has been in gymnastics, ninja and tumbling. We loved the Ninja coaches and class but switched to tumbling to help her progress in gymnastics. With her starting out a little older then most she was afraid of not being able to catch up with some of her friends that have been in gymnastics/dance since they were little. With the great coaching, practice, confidence and determination she is progressing faster than we expected. The coaches and staff are amazing and you truly feel like you are part of a big family! We love coming and seeing all the staff I was going to list them but I would literally need to list them all!

Our 5 yr old daughter is in 4-6 ninja, and loves every second of it. CEA seems very organized, and the ninja staff is excellent. Plan accordingly when trying to get there, as Hall Rd is horrendous at times.
Our elementary also participated in a fundraiser at CEA. Great opportunity to support you local elementary!

Cuttinge Edge Athletics is a fantastic place. They specialize in Child development and the physical sport of gymnastics. Most importantly they coach the whole child, not just the gymnast. My children love love gymnastics day. I love the staff. It's a win win.

June 2023 - a wonderful place to take your child. Staff and coaches do a great job. Had no issues cancelling or switching times if something came up. Coach Joy is great to work with and she does a great job with the kids and coaches.

I absolutely love Cutting Edge! I knew the instant we walked through the door that this was the place for my daughter. We were greeted immediately by the most friendly staff and my daughter's eyes just lit up. She loves all of the friends that she has made and absolutely adores her coaches! Coach Joy has made a huge impact on my daughter's life and we are truly thankful for her! Thank you for being a wonderful staff and we plan on staying at Cutting Edge for a long time!

Pretty boring gym jam for toddlers, they have a small less than appealing section for the little kids to play in and the rest is sectioned off for the older kids. My suggestion would be to at least rotate so that the little toddlers can have a few minutes on the trampolines. I don’t think it was worth $15.

The best gym for recreation classes hands down. My daughter went really far really fast there but had the drive to get there.
If your child loves it this is the best place to become a gymnast.
She now is on a different team at a different gym doing major things like a back handspring x 8. She can do a round off back handspring, back handspring, back tuck. She just turned 9 a few months ago

Our kids, who range from 4 to 9, have been attending Cutting Edge even when they were at their previous location. We have always found them to be very professional and polite. I will say that their sitting area can get packed at times, but this always seems to be the case even with other places that we have tried out.
I really feel like they do their best to give every child a proper amount of attention and training. Our three kids love it and we love it. Thanks!

I have brought my little one here for awhile. And today will be the last time I give this rude company any of my money. Open gym jam was not worth our time, the way I was treated was extremely rude and uncalled for. If I want to make MY child comfortable by showing her things for 5 min I should be able to. But I was told to go sit down and stay out of the area .I will never return and go somewheres else! Trash!

My kids love the place. My only issue has been since the move to Romeo Plank on Monday’s (can’t speed for the rest of the week except Friday, Fridays are much better) it seems like they’ve taken on more students than they can handle. So many kids here that they are not getting as much actual gymnastics time and coaching as they have for the past few years. Also not nearly enough seating for the parents as it is pretty much standing room only, which is kind of ridiculous. Also acquiring more and more students weekly. No issues on Fridays as there are not nearly as many students , plenty of seating and kids get much more attention. Overall the place has great teachers who seem to really care about their students and top notch equipment . And my kids love it here.

Took some coaxing to get my daughter to stay for the first hour of Gym Jam. I’m all for safety but if they allowed to parents to join their children like they used to, we could monitor them. Instead they have instituted some rules that were too restrictive for my 7 year old who wanted to practice her skills. When a coach told her she wasn’t allowed to do a back handspring she left in tears. She does them all the time at her regular gym. Giving it 3 stars because the new facility is a big improvement over the previous one, and because there are fun things to do there if the kids just want to walk (not run) around and do somersaults or cartwheels. We will stick with American Gymnastics.

Too crowded and student to coach ratio is not great to me... often my child is waiting around and will just be doing cart wheels while they work with all the other kids. They also hiked up their prices because they moved buildings... I don’t think it’s worth it...

It takes all sorts ... And I am the safety minded type. Took kids to ninja open gym and overall it was okay, but lots of things are haphazard-put-together. As if the gym realized they could jump on the ninja craze to make a buck without investing in new equipment for the service. The staff was friendly and attentive. Also open to safety minded issues that I brought to their attention, but frankly ... That's not my job. It's ownership's. To participate you do sign away your rights to file suit, but feel like their is a negligence lawsuit waiting to happen. The glowstick after party was a lot of fun for the kids.

I love the coaches and staff here. My daughter is a new student (3rd week) and her coach Olivia is amazing. She works real hard with each of her students and my daughter loves her. The front office staff are very polite and professional. I'm considering putting my youngest daughter in their dance/cheer class.

Billing policy seems to benefit them greatly for dropping and adding students. If your looking to get your full money's worth this is not the place to do it sorry. I own a small business and I treat my customers money like it matters because I want them to come back again and again for years. I cant say the same about Cutting-edge :-(
