We loved our private lesson at this studio! Kai was so welcoming and made it fun and easy to learn a few steps for our wedding. Would highly recommend doing this for your wedding. So place is amazing. If you find yourself in a rut, or inspired to try something new or that pushes your boundaries, listen up. This is the place. Dance is a great way to improve communication with your partner and have fun. If you don't have a partner, that's totally fine too (maybe even better in some cases, ha)! Great owners and teachers and long timers are there, a life enhancing hobby if it sticks, or a bit of fun and new adventure. Win either way. Worst case you laugh at yourself. Still a laugh! So, just do it. Seriously. Hellooooo.

I love Dance on Main! I've been attending Kai's Zumba classes for a while now. After enjoying that so much, I recently signed up for a 3-week Beginner Ballroom class with her, too. What a blast! Kai is so charismatic and encouraging, while making sure everyone is comfy and having fun.

She's great at breaking down the basics, answering questions and correcting, and somehow making us all feel like we're nailing it. The group class vibe is SUPER welcoming (I promise you don't need to be a natural dancer), and there were extra volunteers to dance with individuals—very kind and helpful!

Also love that the studio is a veteran-owned small business. Happy to support local while twirling around a beautiful dance floor! :-)

My wife and I have been taking dance lessons with Kai since last year. Kai is an excellent dance teacher; she lets us learn at our own pace and makes us feel very comfortable during the lessons. The studio is located in downtown Rochester and has a nice view of the downtown area. The studio is very clean, and they also offer group lessons.

My wife and I went to the Dec 20 country dance night (1st and 3rd Fridays) and had an awesome time! Kai was a great host and played a great mix and most requests. While the bulk of the dancers were into line dancing, they have a large dance floor that allowed us to two step or West Coast to most songs. Also played a country walt and a couple of east coast songs. Wonderful, dance friendly studio and group of dancers! If you like to dance, or want to learn, go here!

Great experience for beginners! Everyone makes you feel very welcome and they are super low-key on their teaching, so you don’t feel overwhelmed! My wife and I have been taking lessons from Kai and she is great! We went to a Friday evening event and thought we’d be very intimidated with all the very good dancers, but everyone made you feel welcome, no matter what your level of dance was at the time.

You will not be disappointed. Get lessons on-on-one, a couple, or a group all at reasonable prices. They even have fun open dance parties with group lessons. I was learning AND having fun at the same time. I literally had the biggest smile while I was sweating and twirling! Some of the best cardio ever. This establishment is first class, all the way. A great location in Rochester and so much fun to visit and learn to ballroom dance. The staff are so welcoming, always coming up with great ideas for parties and ways to teach ballroom dance. I attended the recent Halloween party and had so much fun. Jenna, one of the instructors, was so nice and a joy to watch out on the dance floor. Check out this place and have some fun!

Glenn is an awesome instructor! My husband and I took several classes with him learning various dances and enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to have him choreograph our wedding first dance. Rochester Ballroom is dedicated to providing meaningful dancing opportunities to Down Syndrome young adults. These "Friends of Rochester Ballroom" enjoy weekly lessons each paired with a trained adult and are showcased twice a year in a gala event in which they perform before a live audience.
