This is a great place if you want to spend top dollar for a membership to a gym that puts no money into maintenance or upkeep. $90/month and the ceiling tiles are water damaged/molding. Leaks in the roof everywhere with buckets scattered throughout the building to catch the drips. Saunas always down for weeks at a time. Treadmills stick. The hair dryer in the men’s fitness locker room is melted. The locker hinges are so rusted and decrepit most of the doors are just falling off. Unreal how reflected this place is with how much money the athletic club, country club and condo association bring in. Sad sad sad.

This athletic club provides a lot for its members. The fitness center is what I utilize mainly, but they offer a pool, racketball courts, two sets of locker rooms for men and women, a hot tub and sauna in each locker room, fitness classes, and a daycare for little ones. As an added bonus, there is an attached golf simulator and bar! So, you can go for a nice run, then get a big ol burger and beer to top it off. Pricing seems a bit steep, but it's worth it in the end. I would recommend for anyone who wants to better their health.

We signed up for swimming lessons at Davison Athletic Club and our kids (ages 3 & 4) are loving it so far. The instructors have been great with the kids and they got in the water right away even though I did not think they would. 😁

My family really enjoys coming here. The staff that works the child care are wonderful with the kids! Haven't come across many issues that would ever make us not come back or make it not worth the price. My only complaint is that there is always broken equipment and it takes ages for it to be fixed. Treadmills and bikes specifically...hard to keep on a workout schedule with limited equipment to use during time there.

This facility is very outdated and could use a definite remodel/update. Staff is friendlier now. The restrooms in the womens locker room are extremely small, and anyone with any physical challenges would have a problem using it. It is not private at all and is embarrassing for the user as well as anyone else in that room at the time! Also, the pricing for a membership is outrageous for the quality of the facility.

The men’s sauna breaks every other day.The parking lot is garbage 1000 potholes bottoms out your vehicle every time you enter and exit.Takes 3 months to fix a machine when it breaks.During winter they don’t salt or plow the parking lots at all. Rarely put money into any new equipment but charge $70 a month.

I come here 4 sometimes 5 days a week and I love it. Everything is kept clean and the staff is almost always courteous. They have a good selection of work out equipment. Plus the sauna, steam rooms and hot tubs are really appreciated. The only negative is the whole facility is a little out dated and could use a face lift but overall it is an amazing place and I am ever grateful to have it in our city.

Great place to go and get some exercise and have fun. But I've been going here for years and the "old" pool side has NEVER changed. It is in desperate need of a fresh paint job at the least. And maybe a few upgrades. Also kids bounce house has been out of service for quite a while which is an annoyance since it's an amenity I pay for in my membership.

It's always clean and active with a ton of things to do. Large gym, MMA equipment up stars a room for yoga, racketball rooms and a pool. For me the saunas are perfect you have the choice of a dry one or a steam on so it's a great place to relax after a nice work out. Staffs polite and works fast to get you in an out no issues so far and im about to renew my yearly membership.

This is an awesome facility. I know the Davison Middle School swim team comes to practice here. Someone I know is going here to use the pool as her physical therapist prescribed. He's night next door so it works out perfectly for her. Just a great place.

Pros: Kids love their swim classes, good price for swim classes, very convenient location. Their gym is pretty cool. The daycare looks nice too. Super friendly staff.
Cons: Their pool needs to be drained and refilled. That water tastes incredibly nasty and I feel dirty when I go in. Their hot tub has a ton of floaty particles, so that could use a refresh too.
They're obviously renovating the ladies locker room, but there's a leak in the ceiling and a millipede fell on me eww. Hubby says the guys locker room is gross.

Excellent venue for Maddie's graduation party. Perfect size. Great bartender. Clean and inviting place. Great place to be during a tornado - they kept us safe and we even had fun sheltered in the locker rooms for a bit.

In addition it was wonderful remembering the days of our racquetball tournaments there.

Being a veteran, I know gyms well. The facility is nice but the weight room is small and equipment is limited. Waiting to use equipment is inevitable, equipment is older, masks aren’t required, the pool is on the smaller side, and the price point is high at $70 a month for their individual plan. I’m currently enrolled full time at U of M using my GI Bill from the millitary, and they won’t grant me student status because I’m older than 25 (I’m 30), and were unwilling to accommodate even though I’m literally a professional student.

On a more positive note, an array of classes are offered, there is a weight room, multiple racket ball courts, a CrossFit room, MMA room, dance studio, and a yoga room.

Conclusion- taking into consideration the facility size, services offered, quality of equipment, customer service, and the price point, it is my opinion that better options are available elsewhere.

It’s a really good gym and I haven’t been there in a long time! I would usually go there with my dad at night to go swimming and my dad would go there and swim for 2 hours a day. Maybe someday I’ll go back and swim! And also maybe when I’m old enough to drive I might drive there and lift weights there. And I do have weights at home but I wanna be able to use some of your guy’s machines that I don’t have like the kind for Legs like Leg pressing and stuff like that.

I always go to the DAC to workout it is really awesome plenty of space they have a pool with a diving bored they have a swimming lane. They also have a bar and a new GOLF SIMULATOR it is truly amazing and they have racketball rooms and provide the equipment and they also have basketballs and ping pong too.
They have workout classes that you can sign up for and they also have a place to get your hair cut or done whichever you prefer.
