Detroit Thrive is an multidisciplinary in-person facility and online platform that caters to all adults and athletes who are looking to Move, Look, and Feel Better.
DT offers the perfect balance of conditioning, weight loss/maintenance, nutrition coaching, mobility, functional strength and flexibility. Extreme pride is taken to ensure we offer the absolute best in training methods and exercises available. All done in a small group model to give you the right amount of attention and specialization.
Since opening we have specialized in rapid body transformations, getting our members before and after pictures that wow and amaze. Come try one of our workouts to see WHY!

I love how welcoming Detroit Thrive is to new members. I am there to lift heavy and become stronger while making new workout friends. The coaches know how to push you when you need it and modify the workout for you when you need extra support. I highly suggest stopping in for your first workout or coming back if it has been awhile.

I've worked at many gyms over the years, from muscle gyms such as Powerhouse to local, smaller gyms and I've not gotten better results or had more fun than at Detroit Thrive.
I saw countless Facebook ads and decided to give it a try through a 6 Week Challenge, thinking that after the challenge I would go back to my old gym.
I was introduced to group classes of functional strength training by trainers or "coaches". Long story short, I improved my strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. Having coach is less intrusive and less expensive than having a personal trainer, but still with great results. My fitness allows me to keep up with individuals in my chosen sports who are 2 and 3 decades younger than me. My old workouts couldn't do that.
I really look forward to my 3 or 4 classes weekly, along with my classmates. There's a real camaraderie among members.
Lastly, the coaches are top-notch. Helpful and friendly, always encouraging, but never forceful.
Definitely at a higher price-point than most gyms, but the results are worth the higher cost.

Everyone has New Year’s resolutions well let me tell you about Detroit Thrive. I was intrigued by an ad for a 6-week challenge back in January of 2023. I was in the right mind set so I joined Detroit Thrive and this was the best choice I’ve made for 2023 & 2024. I’ve been very successful in losing body fat, gaining muscle. I like that fact that Detroit Thrive is small gym, all the trainers know you whether you attend a class they are overseeing or not. Class sizes are small, so you get to know everyone you’re working out with, and everyone is so encouraging to each other. The best thing is there is no judgement from anyone!!

I highly recommend trying thrive is f you are looking for a way to get healthy and feel strong. The nutrition plan is doable and the workouts are for everyone. This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed working out and look forward to days I go to gym.

A true community with an incredible workout structure. I’ve been able to achieve 7 months of 3 workouts a day losing fat and gaining muscle without being debilitated with soreness or fatigue on off days. I’m so happy I found this place!

Thrive has helped me find the space & time again to exercise with fantastic coaches & classmates. Everyone is welcoming, it is great for beginners or those with fitness experience. I love Thrive so much it made me a 6 am exerciser. Going before work has been a game changer for me. I also really like that it is a 3 days a week program (plus a bonus recovery day/ yoga morning) this gives you plenty of time to do other workouts you love! Thank you Thrive!

I’ve been part of the Thrive community for almost 4 years. Typically I’m ready to “move on” from my workout routine at the three year mark, but not at Thrive! They have the a great combination of community/camaraderie, accountability and expertise. The trainers are super knowledgeable, great at offering modifications to meet everyone at their level and the community is 100% judgement free. Highly recommend to anyone already on the fitness path or maybe looking to jump in. I really look forward to my workouts at Thrive and am stronger now as I approach 50 y/o than I was at 30!

LOVE everything about Thrive Training ! Don and his team are amazing to work with and they are so helpful to get you to whatever goals you’re looking to accomplish! Joining Detroit Thrive has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I lost 13 lbs in two months and have kept it off. My body fat has gone down and muscle has increased. I absolutely love the diet plan which is more of a way of life than a diet. I have tried many programs before and I would lose weight, but it always came right back on or it was not a sustainable way of life. With Detroit Thrive’s remote plan, I can do 3 strength workouts from home and I just walk the other days. I also have the option to go into the gym, but as a working mother of 3 that isn’t always possible. Donnie and Stephanie are the best team working together with your goals at the forefront of your program. They tweak and make changes if needed and they are my biggest fans encouraging me on this journey. I have never felt better and I’m so thankful to Thrive for their expertise! Join and I promise you won’t regret it!

Detroit Thrive has been an incredible addition to my daily routine and lifestyle. Thrive has a great approach, with making fitness and nutrition attainible for anyone. There is a true sense of community and support among the trainers and everyone that works out at the gym. The classes are flexible, even if your schedule changes from week to weeks. Please do yourself a favor and join this gym and participate in their weight loss challenge program. I joined 6 weeks ago to drop some pesky pounds before summer began. I met my weight loss goal of 9.6 pounds. The program is easy to follow and the workouts will help you reach that goal. The trainers are nice and helpful. If you have a sore knee, they can modify workouts for you. The nutrition expert, Stephanie, will help you with any questions about the menu and provide recipes that will keep you satiated throughout the challenge. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I did a 6 week challenge at Thrive. I love the way everyone pushes you to be your best whether it be the nutrition or the exercises. These are group classes but you never feel out of place.
