This morning at the gym, after a set of 15 pull ups, a kid in his mid 20s stopped to tell me I was in very impressive shape and asked me if I had always trained. He was surprised to hear I was 58. I laughed—I didn’t bore him with the details: That at the tail end of Covid lockdowns, despite being an avid snowboarder and watersports person most of my life, I was 54 and I found myself trapped inside a bit of a “Dad Bod.” I was overweight and regularly fatigued.

The truth is a chance encounter with Robert Pryce, and a bit of curiosity got me started on a health journey that changed the trajectory of my health. My goal at the start was to “be harder to kill.” Sounds silly? It was sort of a joke at first. Now, it's a reality.

Over the course of 4 years, I have lost and kept off upwards of 15 pounds. More importantly I have transformed my physique to a strong, lean, heathy muscle mass. I have abs again. My metabolism is strong and being in shape isn’t just a wish anymore. It's a reality. I still snowboard and wakesurf and jetski, but at the risk of sounding arrogant, I’m undeniably better at it. I truly am, because I feel great. I have more energy and vitality than I have in years. I eat better, I sleep better.

It wasn’t easy. Fitness didn’t come in a pill bottle for me, but through regular, focused, training with Robert Pryce I am fitter and stronger and yes, I am harder to kill than I was when I started. I recommend Robert as a personal trainer wholeheartedly.

This is my 17th year working out with Rob. I can tell you that you will see amazing results both physically and mentally in working out with him 1 time per week than you will working out 5 days a week on your own. He will get you in the best shape of your life and you see results quickly. He’s not your typical trainer just going through the motions to make a buck and always spends extra time if he has it. He is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of training and health in general. It will motivate you all week to eat healthier and live a better life. No 2 workouts are the same which helps you to see results faster with your muscles not getting used to the same routine. If you have an injury, he will help to rehab the area to heal it and get it stronger like physical therapy. He is unwaveringly consistent, professional, high energy, funny, positive and puts everything he has into every workout. You will feel better mentally and physically for days after a workout session. It’s worth every penny and is one of the major highlights of my week. His workouts help to keep me in shape, be stronger to do daily tasks with more ease and helps to decompress from my stressful job and busy life of being a mom. I highly recommend training with Rob!
