I’ve been hearing how good Dmitriy was for a while, but only recently I found the courage to ask him if he’d be able to help me after my major surgery. Dmitriy agreed. I was amazed by how truly knowledgeable he was. It’s only been a couple of months that I’ve been doing one-hour sessions once a week with him, but I already see an improvement in my posture and the way I approach doing everyday things. Update: I’ve been working with Dmitry for about six months now. His knowledge of body mechanics is incredible! He helped me with my pain numerous times. As we age, we lose muscle mass, we become more unstable and our prone to injury. After I lost my wife, I had lots of pain and injury from overdoing it and eating the wrong foods and not taking care of my body. I promised my wife I would take care of myself, and then I was introduced to Dmitriy, he looked at me slumped over walking into the gym and immediately after my first training session I felt stronger and revitalized. Over a period of time (and it takes time), consistent training with him I lost lots of visceral fat (the dangerous fat), and gained muscle mass even in my mid 60s. Dmitriy has the training in strength building, nutrition and physical therapy which work together to help you get to where you need to be to have a healthy and vital life as we age. Since working with Dmitriy, I no longer have knee pain and my posture is no longer stooped. I suffered from knee and back pain for years. I was trying to work out but the pain was unbearable. I decided to meet with a trainer to see if they could show me different exercises that I could do that would not cause the pain. I met with Dmitriy and he said he could help me. We started training and I was immediately impressed by his focus and knowledge. He set me up at every machine, watched closely to make sure I was positioned right and made sure I understood the lesson. He corrected me on my forum when it was needed to prevent further injury. Dmitriy explained how if you start from your core, there is no pain. He was right. He teaches resistance training and it's the best.

I was in a car accident two years ago and hurt my neck. Physical therapy and chiropractic care didn’t help, but working with Dmitriy finally made a difference. At first, I only had short periods of pain relief, but over time the pain-free intervals kept increasing. After about six months, I was mostly pain free.

When I was told that I needed shoulder replacement surgery, I intended to work with a trainer to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder to get ready for the surgery. Instead, I was lucky enough to find Dmitriy, a uniquely gifted trainer who showed me how to use the core muscles in my torso to take the strain off of all joints — shoulders, elbows, knees. After a couple of months of twice-weekly sessions I no longer felt shoulder pain nor radiating pain and stiffness in my neck; after a year I felt stronger and more confident in my body at age 71 than I had in years. I will not need any surgery.
Dmitriy has a remarkable combination of skills — a deep understanding of how the body functions, a passion for constant learning, a genuine interest in people and their needs and how he might help them. I have never worked with a more knowledgeable, professional, patient coach/trainer in any field.

I wanted to share some fantastic news about my recovery and fitness journey! After a long three years post-stem cell transplant, I finally felt strong enough to dive back into strength training. I won't lie, I had my doubts — a significant loss of muscle mass, a hiatal hernia, and osteoporosis were all big concerns.
But returning to the gym, specifically with Dimitri, has completely eased my mind. His guidance has been absolutely invaluable. As a specific example starting my training I had a hernia that I was delaying surgery on due to the fact that recover could take up to six months of inactivity during my peak cycling season. His training focused on rebuilding my abdominal muscles and core strength and after 8 weeks I do not have any of the issues of the problem anymore. He's has also helped me relearn and refine so many past techniques, correcting positions I'd either forgotten or, surprisingly, had been doing incorrectly for 35 years! His expertise has been key in getting me back into shape and feeling much better moving forward.
And here's the best part: instead of the usual "How are you feeling?" I'm now consistently hearing "You look so good!" It's such a welcome change and a testament to the progress I've made.

The orthopedic surgeon told me that I needed reverse shoulder replacements.
Instead, I did some successful physical therapy. After that, it took me 2 years to come back to the gym, because I was afraid of damaging my shoulders further.
By that time, I had limited range of motion and pain was waking me up during the night.

I couldn't turn my neck without pain. My right hand was tingling, and even simple tasks felt impossible.

My job involves physical exertion, and as a result, in 2017 I developed unbearable pain in my lower back and between my shoulder blades. The pain was so intense that every breath caused excruciating discomfort. The doctor told me I needed back surgery. I was ready to agree to anything.
Fortunately, I met a trainer at the gym named Dmitry Berkovich. He suggested postponing the surgery for a month and a half and training with him during that time. If there were no improvements, I could go ahead with the surgery. I didn’t really believe it would help, but I decided to give it a try.
In the end, the surgery wasn’t necessary. The doctor was very surprised, but he confirmed that there were no longer any issues. It’s been 8 years now, and I haven’t experienced any pain. On top of that, I’m in great shape!
I am incredibly, deeply grateful to him! It turns out that if you find the right trainer who truly knows what he is doing, life becomes amazing—and doctors become just a memory! Highly recommend!!!

I had developed a bulging disc in my neck, that made me stop working out and I took a long break from exercising. The pain was unbearable and for over two months I could not sleep. It took a long time going to different doctors who have improved my pain with different techniques and medications.
After two months I was cleared to start PT. I went to PT three times a week for a month doing difterent sets of exercises as well as at home training routine set up by my PT with little or no relieve. My pain remained at low to medium levels.
I decided to approach Dimitry to restart my gym training with his help. After two weeks of working out with him, twice per week under Dimitry's supervision my symptoms improved and I was able to get back to my normal self.
