I started my journey with Encore Dance Studio this summer by taking a Pilates Class. I have never enjoyed a class so much.I have continued each time a new class is offered, and am currently coming twice per week. My muscle strength has improved vastly and quickly.The classes are so well taught by Ashley and Izzy. I look forward to these classes each week as my "me time". I had never done Pilates before. Both instructors explain each movement in great detail, show you how to do it, and do it with you. I think the class is great for any level of ability, and movements can be altered to the individual. I feel I have accomplished more for my body by participating in Pilates than I have with any gym program I have done in the past. The workout in Pilates has also helped in controling my chronic back pain by strengthing my core. An additional bonus is the studio is beauthiful and welcoming. I never felt self-conscious about being there. I highly recommend.

Had a try me class to see if my daughter would like to try ballet this year. Everyone was very welcoming and we had a great experience. My daughter can't wait for ballet classes to start this fall.

I danced at Encore for a short amount of time (2 years), but it became one of the best choices I had ever made and I cannot recommend it enough.
Through Encore, I found a love for dance that I hadn’t felt for years. I felt supported and loved by everyone there, dancers and teachers alike, and was treated like family. I learned new skills and saw an incredible amount of improvement despite not being there long.
At Encore you are supported unconditionally, being offered opportunities that span further than just the studio and high school.
Though I graduated, I am so glad I will still have the opportunity to be involved in the studio, and the wonderful people within it, and I encourage anyone that is thinking about joining to give it a try.

Two weeks ago I began to take a class with Ashley, the Pilates Social Club. I've been in the fitness industry for almost a decade - but coming off a C-Section 11 weeks ago, I knew I needed to priortize re-engagement of the core and glutes before I can really hit the gym. This is hands down the best mat pilates class that I've taken. Ashley and her daughter spend the class actually 'teaching' how to engage the abdominal muscles - encouraging the class to challenge themselves but yet to go slow in order to feel the muscles. Coming from a corrective exercise background myself, I can tell they actually have studied and care deeply about how their clients can integrate pilates into their life. This class has made it's way onto my calendar as "get to" not have to - something I look forward to weekly.

Encore has been an amazing experience for our little one. She is new to dance this year and wanted to try ALL the classes but after a nice chat with Ashley the owner and explaining her age and what she was interested in she thought hip hop would be a good place to start and boy has it!! Our little one has learned so much about dance this year and is excelling in her skills. We are looking forward to watching her in the spring show.

I was in many varying types of dance at Encore Dance Studio for 12 years from the ages of 2 to 14. My experience was life-changing! During those formative years, I was able to use dance to express my emotions, relieve anxiety, and build my self-confidence.

Becoming more aware of how your body works/moves is such a key part of growing up. Dance not only teaches rhythm and technique, but helps people feel confident and comfortable in many different types of situations.

I have recently joined the Mommy and me class with my two-year-old daughter and she loves Miss Ashley just as much as I did!

I highly recommend attending yourself or enrolling your little one. Any type of sport is great for a child but I feel like dance is one of the few things that can strengthen mind, body and soul. Hope to see you there! :)

I started dancing in Encore adult classes in April of 2024 and have been part of hip hop, ballet, and tap. I have enjoyed each of the instructors I've worked with and they've all promoted fun safe atmospheres for adults to express their artistry and push themselves however hard they are comfortable with. I especially appreciate that even the adults have opportunities to perform. I plan to keep dancing with Encore, hopefully for many years to come, and look forward to hopefully even more opportunities for adults to dance.

I have no children of my own who dance at Encore, but all the kids I see love it and their parents who I dance with always have nothing but great things to say about the opportunities their children have at Encore.

My son has danced at Encore for 2 years. He was nervous at first about being a boy dancer (in public). He had been dancing since he was 10 months old, he just never had a studio.

Ashley and the other staff have helped him feel welcome and safe. They have really practiced what they preach about inclusivity; Ashley even offered to replace her company logo with a basic star on his company warm up jacket. Together he and Ashley decided that felt better than a jacket with a ballerina. This small act of inclusivity and kindness really helped him skyrocket and break out of his shell.

While he has learned dance technique, dance at Encore has taught him much more! Self-advocacy, kindness, acceptance, patience, courage, perseverance, strong work ethic, encouragement of others, and self-esteem are just a few of these many lessons.

Dance competitions and show case events are a great opportunity to try your best, accept critique, and make improvements. However we always felt that the wellbeing of the dancers was prioritized over a medal or trophy. Encore has won plenty of awards; but that isn’t their primary goal and it shows. The dancers are having fun, are healthy, and are not fixated on only the next win.

We are thankful he has been able to learn and grow with this dance family. We appreciate you Encore staff and family.

Oh, 5/5 stars for offering adult classes too! The classes are inclusive, cater to a range of skill levels, and are a judgement-free zone. It is a great place to have fun and destress. As an adult dancer, I highly recommend attending.

I’ve danced at Encore for 11 years and have been on the competition team for 8 of those. I have loved every second of it, dancing, competing, and traveling with amazing teammates and teachers. I have made many amazing friendships throughout my time at the studio and have been taught by exceptional and passionate teachers. I’m sad to be graduating this year and leaving my second home, but will forever be grateful for my time there.

Our daughter spent much of her childhood,/teen years dancing at Encore Dance Studio. Watching her grow as a dancer year over year was so incredibly enjoyable. But more importantly, watching her grow into a hard working, self assured, confident young adult has been so gratifying. And so much of this is attributed to her time spent at the dance studio, taking classes, and competing with Encore Dance Company. As a parent, I highly recommend Encore Dance Studio. My daughter had been a dancer for 9 years and not new to dance but new to the studio this year. Encore welcomed her with open arms.
