Love this gym and Gary and Kali! It’s a shame when people deface and vandalize the local gym and then bad mouth the owner and staff, and leave a bad review.. shame on them! Take responsibility and be respectful. Thankful to have FitStop in Dowagiac!

they refuse to give me a membership because the previous gym at the same location banned me over LITERALLY NOTHING. they have no evidence of me breaking any rules. your reports prove nothng other than you aren't honest. the new owner said there is nothing they can do. they are objectively bad people and do bad business

I have been a member here for about 5 years. The only gym around that has all the equipment you need and is 24/7 with your key fob so you can get in anytime you can get the time to workout.

When I moved here this gym was in my hometown, not only have I met some really good lifelong friends (including the owner) and was able to get to my healthiest form in my life with the great equipment, but the drinks stay cold with lots of variety and the manager of the gym, she’s nothing less than amazing and super helpful! 10/10 would recommend

Love this gym have tons of equipment and the have boxing they have a shower they have a separate room you can go in to work out in if you want they have a men and women bathroom with lockers in both

Nice enough gym but if you work days good luck getting a hold of anyone. Joined a week ago and my key fob wasn't t programmed correctly. I can't get in if no one else is working out when I get in because the employees leave by 3p.m. and I work until 4. Can't even leave a msg.

If I could give them zero stars I would I called and cancel my membership along time ago by sending the owner and email bc the lady on the phone said email her or come in and cancel... so I sent the email with my new address bc I dont not live in that area anymore and they have still apparently been charging me bc I got a call I'm very disappointed

The staff working there are very friendly and helpful, but the actual corporate company is one big cash scheme. A word of advice, don't waste your money because the company WILL take it.

I'm not sure how this place has 4.9 stars, must be reviews left by the owners friend's or relatives. This is not a 5 star gym, it is a 2 star at best. Especially since it's $350 a year to work out in a place that ISN'T climate controlled (and it's not like it JUST broke, it's always been this way and the owners excuse not to fix it is that it "costs too much to fix."). This place has NO air conditioning in the summer and it was 88 degrees when I went to work out there yesterday. So if you're actually trying to work out hard, you will probably suffer from heat exhaustion first. You can't get a good work out in when it's that hot in there. Not to mention the heat is broke so it's in the 60's in the winter. Which is still bad because you are so cold it takes a long time for your muscles to warm up and if you know anything about working out, you know your muscles need to stay warm. The equipment is old but weights are decent even though they are rusted and reek of rust when you are using them.

Update: October 2018 Gym is under new ownership! There is AC and heat now! All the weight machines have been replaced and it seems that they are really trying to make it better.
