My son came home from school wanting to join Karate. Cannot recommend enough! He has been having a great time and doing so well, that I joined with him. Master Dollinger is an amazing instructor, providing a very welcoming and positive environment for learning a growth amongst all ages and skill ranges. It's an ego free atmosphere. The joy that comes from everyone, and the excitement the higher ranked and experienced students have when they gladly come and volunteer, with an equally positive attitude and willingness to help, guide and assist anyone and everyone no matter their age or skill range, really proves when you join, we are all family! ❤️

Been going to Flushing Karate for little over a year now with my 10 year old and I have to say it's been a great experience all around. The lower level classes get to be pretty busy with kids running around, but now that we've been doing orange belt and moving into green things have gotten good with the more advanced training schedule.

If you have small children this is definitely a good place to start as Master Dollinger does a great job with the younger children as well.

Overall we've enjoyed our time here and look forward to many more years with Flushing Karate.

My two ASD kids love training with Master Dollinger. He is patient with them as it takes longer for them to understand and properly complete each move. They need consistency and repetition. They get that here.

Awesome place, Awesome staff, Master Dollinger is the best. He is very patient and kind with the kids, and also his other black belts are as well. My 7 year old son enjoys coming here. Master Dollinger wants all of his students to achieve the rank of black belt, and is willing to go out of the way and help each student to obtain that rank. 5 stars isn’t enough for Master Dollinger and Staff.

Flushing Karate has been a significant part of our son's life for 10 years. He is now a Sam Dan or 3rd degree black belt. Anytime he needs to get centered or blow off steam he heads to the dojang. He has also learned how to respect people & show respect to all elders. I hear all the time taking correction well and with a yes sir and even thanking them for their correction. Master Dollinger and all instructors are just great people!

They kicked my kid out of there class because other parents threatened to pull there kids out. This place is only about money And only cares about money they don’t teach true karate. Be careful going here kids that truly need a master and help and ruined by fake places like this. This is disrespectful to parents that are paying money that can have there kid kicked out any moment because of other parents that are paying more money..

Master Dollinger is one of the most understanding people I have seen. He takes anyone who wants to learn and gives them a chance. The facility is very well kept and the black belts here respect the facility. The parent committee even has fun activities for the kids outside of class such as nerf games. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to understand and learn the art of Tang Soo Do.
