Bobbye and her gym is amazing! We are a group of resident physicians with very limited time, and she worked with us to find a time to have our very own silks class. She gave us a tour of the gym, introduced us to the basics of silks, made sure we had fun pictures, made us feel safe and comfortable, and absolutely made sure we had fun. She offered variations for each move and would spot you if you felt unsure. What I thought was a one-time fun event has now inspired us to come back for more! Both for her classes and also more parties in the future. This would also be a fantastic idea for a bachelorette party! Thank you Bobbye!

This place is a gem! I took an intro aerial silks class here with the owner and it was so much fun! Aerial arts is clearly her passion project and she has made the space so comfortable and full of good vibes. Additionally she taught in a way that prioritized safety, and was able to adapt techniques to any fitness level. Grand Rapids is lucky to have this place

I have been coming here for over a year and I love it!

I take Pole classes with Ally and Lollipop classes with Olivia.

The Lounge focuses heavily on proper technique and conditioning for strength training and injury prevention. The staff are all very knowledgeable about their apparatuses.

The classes are at an affordable and fair price point, with discounts if you take multiple classes!

The environment at the lounge is very welcoming for everyone! They have lots of beginner-friendly classes, as well as options for more advanced aerialists.

This place is great 😊 I recently decided to start taking pole classes and also fell in love with lollipop in the process! I had no experience so I just took the shot to try here because the website was the easiest to navigate and I’m very glad I did! Olivia taught my intro to pole class and mentioned her main apparatus is lollipop and I liked her vibe so much I decided to give lollipop a try as well.

Olivia’s awesome and is honestly a huge reason I want to keep with lollipop. Super friendly, helpful and makes the class super enjoyable! I was going to take lollipop and pole and after my first month decide which one I liked more but I really didn’t think I’d like lollipop as much as I do but definitely plan to stick with it and I chalk a lot of the credit up to how fun olivia makes the class.

Allison’s awesome too super knowledgeable, encouraging and helpful & I’ve been enjoying taking pole with her and am excited to keep learning more. I feel like I’m already seeing a ton of progress.

The owner is super helpful, responsive , and understanding as well :) I’m so glad I decided to go with this place over the others in the GR. It’s very clean as well and the punch pass system and discounts based on amount of classes you take is cool too! Definitely makes you want to stick with it. The core work (that you don’t even notice you’re doing because you’re having so much fun) from these classes is insane and I’m already seeing a huge difference in my physique after month one!

Also excited about them adding new apparatus’!

Anyways love this studio so far, am excited to stick around and highly recommend giving them a try if you are looking at studios.

Signed up my 10 year old daughter, she loved it. She took the hammock lvl 1 class. She said the teacher and the other classmates were really nice. The studio was comfortable and clean. Totally recommend trying it out.

I had a great time in the "Taster Class" this evening. We tried silks, hammock, lyra and here I am on the trapeze. I don't have great core strength, and this class was still very doable. It was great to try all the apparatuses, and laugh at myself a little along the way! Now I know I'd like to try the beginner silks class next.

Bobbye is a fantastic instructor! My daughter has been learning from her for several years. She is signing up for every class she can at her new space, knowing that it will be worth every penny because Bobbye is the best! She is so kind, patient, supportive and safety oriented. She is a clear communicator with everyone at any experience level or age. Look no further if you are interested in the aerial arts!
