Just finished six weeks of lessons. Highly recommend! I've golfed for many years but would still consider myself a beginner. They explained things well and with the why behind it. I am pretty much new to the game of golf and decided I should take some professional lessons because even though I don't know much about it, I really love to play! I signed up with six of my friends...most much better than I and we had six lessons with Ken and Nick. They were both very knowledgeable and patient with us and we all agreed we learned so much from them! My only critique would be that if they each took on three of us, working with us individually (within the group), I think we would have gotten a little more one on one instruction. It was hard being one of six and Ken and Nick trying to see what each person was doing wrong and then trying to get us to correct it. Sometimes I felt like neither one of them really noticed what I was doing...or not doing because we all needed attention and we only had so much time! Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons, I learned much more than I knew before and I highly recommend Ken and Nick at Grow Your Game Golf Center!

This was my second set of lessons with Ken. In my first lessons last year, he turned my iron game around after just six lessons, and I saw great improvement. He had so much knowledge of the game and explains things in a way that makes sense to someone newer to the game. I’d recommend for anyone wanting to up their game!

I was a complete golf newbie - I had never swung a golf club and had zero understanding of the game. Heck, I didn’t even know there were different clubs for different purposes. I decided I wanted to test it out and a lesson would be a good place to start. I took four lessons with Ken. At no point in these lessons did he assess my knowledge of the game (or listen to me explain it) or even allow me to hit an actual golf ball. I wanted to hit golf balls to apply some of the concepts, but he said I wasn’t ready. Most of the lessons he spent talking about his own skill and gassing up his experience mixed in with some routines for form. It felt like he just wanted to make the time pass to get the money. At the fourth and final lesson I came in with my own set of clubs which I was super excited about. He was really disappointed and got frustrated with me that I didn’t buy them through him. But I’m happy to say after moving onto a different coach I’m now in love with the game and it’s all I want to do on a beautiful day. That to say, maybe he’s a better fit for someone a bit more experienced, but as a beginner I might as well have thrown cash in a fire pit. The facility itself was great and had a lot of great technology.

My son had aspirations to play high school golf. We started him in group and private instruction at Grow Your Game last fall. We’ve tried other facilities/ programs for youth instruction but in just a few short months with Ken and his staff, I finally saw the fundamentals improving as well as the dedication needed to play competitively. Lessons were always specifically tailored to what my son needed rather than just textbook golf tips based on someone else’s swing. Kid made the varsity team as a freshman. The Loft at Riverview Highlands is the perfect spot to continue your education and craft with the game of golf. It offers all options between putting and chipping, full swings and simulator golf playing some of the worlds most exclusive courses.
Jess Lewis provided me with some excellent instruction leading up to my USGA event this summer. His positive suggestions and expert knowledge of the Trackman technology got my overall game ready for competition.

I've gone to Ken Moore for a variety of: swing, sand, and short game instruction over the past couple of years. As a result of his fun, personable attitude, and state of the art evaluations, I brought my 16 year old grandson for instruction also.
Instruction starts with evaluation of my swing. In the past I've gone to instructors who start to teach with their method, not where my golf game/capability resides.
The use of Ken's background, and technology, allows me to see my areas of concern. Ken uses a multitude of techniques to assist in teaching correct golf swing/path/etc. goals.
Several easy to follow drills to change/improve have been given and I've even been able to implement them with success.
I'd recommend Ken Moore and "Grow Your Game Golf Center" to anyone, and have: young, middle age, etc.

In the fall of 2021, I went in for a fitting having never met or knew Ken. After a couple minutes of talking, I felt I had known him for many years. Very personable, respectful, and knowledgeable.
After the fitting I asked if I could schedule I a couple lessons, which turned into a few more visits, enabling me to “Grow my Game.”
Since my first visit, I have been impressed with improvements Ken and Jess have made to their fitting and lessons resources.

I'm a 67 yr. old woman who's golfed on and off for 20 yrs. I have gone to other golf equipment/instructional places and left them feeling blown off or they couldn't be bothered. I went to Grow your Game and from the start, Ken the instructor,
took the time to talk with me, answered my questions, I was fitted with the right clubs for me and I have now taken one lesson. I learned more in that one lesson than I did from any other place. I started golfing when I was 62 years of age. One of the first things I did was contact Ken Moore at Grow Your Game Golf Center for individual training. I have taken many lessons with Ken. And now we have an additional trainer Jess Lewis, both are excellent instructors and I’ve trained with both of them over the last year. I can proudly say they made me a golfer. If you truly want to know the fundamentals of golf and become the best golfer you can be, I highly recommend golf lessons with both Ken Moore and Jess Lewis.

Like many golfers from Downriver, I have always headed to Miles Golf in A2 (Carl's too) for my equipment and instruction needs. I no longer need to do that and have found a great place here with Ken Moore and Grow Your Game. Got fitted/purchased Mizuno irons recently and tried out all the major clubmakers in the process. Couldn't be happier. Want latest technology to guide your swing improvement? They have all that. Just want to keep it simple? They offer that approach too. The Winter practice area where GYG operates kept me in game shape during the off season too. Add to all this is the phenomenal Jr Lessons/HS programs that GYG runs. My HS daughter has been a part of this program and it played the major part in her to making the State HS finals the last 2 years and winning Summer tournaments.
