It used to be "Intentional Yoga", but I started going to "Intent on Yoga". This is by far my favorite studio, and I've lived in three different states as well as abroad. It's clean, friendly, very professional, fantastic yoga sessions that make me feel like I visited a spa. There are showers with toiletries, hairdryers, small towels for the practice, fruit and tea for free and bottled water and fancy natural cosmetics for purchase.
I was also worried I wouldn't like the hot and humid room, as I had only practiced in unheated studios before, but I love it! It's well balanced with the practice and all teachers are so helpful!
Thank you so much from me and my husband.

This yoga studio was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I started practicing here. I always feel at ease and welcomed here. All of the instructors are willing to help you if you have any questions. The practices are challenging and calming, and a great variety and schedule is offered.

INTENT ON YOGA is bar none the best yoga studio around. The owners and instructors truly care about each and every person who walks through their doors. There are classes for every level. Many people comment on how this is such a special studio... and they are absolutely spot on.

I have been practicing at IY yoga for more than a decade. I have moved 4 times, and still find a way to meet up with friends and family here. As with so many people, I struggle with my work/life balance and making sure my health is at the forefront of all of the running around. IY yoga is a place I come back to time and time again to get recentered and focused for my physical and mental health. They are always welcoming, personable and helpful no matter where I am at in my life journey. I believe so highly in their practice and how it elevates stength, flexibility, cardio and mindfulness, that we have had teachers come out and work with AMP Beach Volleyball Zen players. Understanding where your limbs are in space helps with all sports. Paraphrasing David, the more his friend practices yoga, the more lucky his golf game seems to be. :) If you are a male, and think yoga isnβt for you, go watch Christian in action, now a teacher. If you want a strong teacher that will make you work, take Teri. If you want a perfect balance for stength, stretching and serenity for a safe space to practice at differentiated levels, go see Jacqui or Jess. There are so many more amazing instructors. Those are just a few shout outs.
Thank you so much for being a part of my journey! -AMP Beach Volleyball Owner - Amanda Yaklin

Great place for yoga. All staffs are super nice and helpful. You can choose different level/kind practice class for yourselves. Even I moved from Rochester downtown to Lake Orion area, I still choose this place.

Awful experience . The yoga instructor kept mixing up which side we were on so we would do the same side 3 times then switch exercises . The older guy working there was a creep and was super rude to the yoga instructor in front of everyone . I felt very uncomfortable and it was the opposite of relaxing good location though right by rite aid I guess .
